As always we had a great experience at 1928. One of the hidden gems of the city.

Everything was phenomenal from the atmosphere to the food. Their brunch menu was small, but delicious; the breakfast burger was incredible, and the churro pancakes were out of this world. Their brunch menu only thing I will complain about is the pricing. It was $75 (not including tip) for pancakes, a burger, a cup of tea, and a mix drink. Doesn’t mean I won’t go there again, just maybe not frequently. Which is a shame be aid the food was so good.

Food was amazing but the portion size was small price range in between 100-150 when you total all the food and drinks I would go back not for a date but for a late lunch

We were excited to return to 1928 Beacon Hill and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is very inviting and warm inside. The service and food are fabulous and they make a great cocktail!! We look forward to our next visit.

It is BEAUTIFUL! Ambiance is amazing. But… We had a 2pm reservation for Easter. They called to confirm the day before and told us that the kitchen would close at 2:30 so don’t be late. We thought that was odd. When we arrived they reiterated that we needed to hurry up and order because the kitchen was closing at 2:30. We ordered swiftly and then waited. No one came by to check on our drinks so we just sat. When our meal arrived, the waitress asked us if we were going to want dessert. We hadn’t even had a bite of our meal!!!! We declined dessert. The waitress brought our check when she came to collect our plates before we had even asked for it. We hadn’t actually planned to have coffee and visit for a bit . I WANT to love this place but I have never felt more rushed and unwelcome. It was Easter, my husband and I had our 4 kids with us and wanted to enjoy our time. We felt rushed. It was unfortunate. I hope they adapt their seating timeframe and cater to people enjoying their time, otherwise I can see people being turned off
