We were celebrating our Anniversary and it was exactly the perfect atmosphere — beautiful decor, great and attentive service and most importantly delicious food!! We’ll be back again!!

The only thing I would say that’s negative is it can be quite loud at times. But this is one of my favorite restaurants!

My wife and I returned to 1928 to celebrate our Anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed it. This occasion marked the third or fourth time we've been there and each time we've enjoyed the cocktails and food. The cocktails are creative and the food is always fresh and served at the perfect temperature.

The ambience was very intimate with low ceilings, interesting decor and a lot of small rooms. The food was exquisite, and everything was spiced and cooked to perfection. The prices were high, but if you are going to splurge, this is the place to do it as you will have a very memorable evening.

The Filet was perfect, the Gnocchi divine, and the drinks top tier. Loved the atmosphere overall. Definitely a great place to eat when visiting Portland!

The food was delicious, the bartender very attentive before we were sat for our reservation. Our waiter was subpar and it felt like he was doing us a favor as our wait staff. Too bad, we won’t be back, for the cost of our food you would expect a more attentive wait staff.
