Overall the experience was great, however due to price I tend to expect a lot. I’ll start off by the listing the good part, the bread to start to meal off was wonderful and paired amazingly with the lobster bisque we had, but hoped a bit more for pieces of lobster. Understandably adding more makes it more expensive, but I’d pay another few dollars for a bit more as well. Even if something like snow crab was also added to make it seem more meaty would be a good option and still keep that delicious creamy flavor. It is something I’d highly recommend getting and trying still. The side of wild mushrooms very much enchanted the flavor of the steak and they were quite delicious by themselves. The mac and cheese tasted very authentic and house made, it really got good after I gave it a little toss to coat the noodles again since the heat allowed the cheese sauce to sink to the bottom some. My wife got a Prime Rib that she greatly enjoyed and had a very authentic Au Jus. She was excited this was also served with some asparagus. As expected with prime rib, it was very tender and perfectly cooked. There are a few small menial things here and there however my biggest complaint would have to be the exterior fat from the NewYork strip I received. Due to the fat on the exterior being quite unpleasant to eat compared to inter-muscular fat, I figured a place like this would make sure to serve a steak that was 100% edible or as close to that as possible. The fat even after it being cooked was about a half of an inch thick. Leaving a rather large portion that was ultimately unpleasant to bite into due to toughness and texture of it I wasn’t closely inspecting the piece of meat while eating it. The steak itself had great flavor and inter-muscular fat which is delicious and makes a steak tender and wonderful. I may go with the filet next time even though a strip is by far my favorite.

Sat outside, one other table, waitress walked by and ignored us. No one greeted or gave us water for some time. Young hostess however was great. When finally got to order, Food delayed over 65 min due to, we were told repeatedly, large groups! Waitress told us she was unaware she was to serve us and had large tables she was completing. Seem like a reservation for four should have had a bit more attention!

Our preshow dinner was very enjoyable and tasty! The Baby Beef was excellent as always and several of us had the wonderful 1922 Old Fashioned. Our server never let us down and we got out in plenty of time for the downtown Midland performance!

Always a nice time at the Natoma (1922). Saw Dean last night. Celebrated my 70th Birthday. Food and the "bread" was excellent as usual. Best Baby Beef around!

This is our first time dining at 1922 on the Square. We enjoyed the meal very much. We liked the variety on the menu. We really liked the calamari...excellent! We shared the larger filet Oscar and it was delish! Great Bernaise sauce. The baked potato with all of the toppings was a little disappointment. It was only warm, not hot. The restaurant is pretty noisy when it get full and it was full as all of us were dining before a concert a few doors down. We're coming back again on Tuesday for another concert. This is the place to eat on the Square, for sure. Very nice.

not sure of all the go with the dinners are. The ruebin was just ok..but enough to split and get an app. The loaded potato was very very far from loaded...few melted flakes of cheese on skin..non on potato.

We had a reservation and still waited an hour and a half from the time our order was taken until our food was finally brought to our table. By that time we were so late for our next event, we had to take our food to go and didn’t even get to eat one bite at the table. When we did eat, our steaks were very fatty and tough, we were charged for mushrooms and sauce for steaks that weren’t even in our boxed up meals, and considering this meal cost over $200 for the 3 of us in our dinner party, we expected way better quality of food and service. This was our first and last time ever eating here! Not worth it at all, very disappointed

Completely not staffed appropriately for events going on around the restaurant. Had a reservation for 6:45 PM and they were not able to see me so I had to sit outside at a counter. Not to mention, I was late for my show which I told them about at the beginning.

This is my husband and I’s favorite date spot and decided to bring his brother from the other side of the state since we rave about this place so much. It didn’t disappoint! We all had a wonderful time. The food is amazing, the service is the best and so sweet (we always love our servers), and the atmosphere is so laid back but classy. We will always highly recommend 1922 on the Square.

my food had to be refired causing me not to be able to eat dinner with my wife on our anniversary. they knew it was our anniversary an still set us to a party of ten i couldnt even here my wife talk. we wont be going back

Made a reservation and had to wait about 10 minutes. The cocktail special was unavailable because the bartender didn’t have time to do it. Cocktails were great. First Manhattan was a little sweet but second was perfect. Bread is super good. Shrimp cocktail and ceviche were very good. Scallops were great but the sauce didn’t seem to go. Tomato ricotta salad was awesome. Steak was a bit over cooked. Cracked Yukons were soooo good! Overall was good but maybe a little pricey for what we paid for.

Pricey, food mediocre, service courteous but slow. They are obviously under-staffed. One bartender trying to keep up with the bar and the dining room. We were interested in going there because of our family's long association with The Natoma. Aunts, uncles, cousins, parents, ate there for many years. Angie Athan made it a special place. It needs something to give it that spark. Prices for food were ridiculously high considering the quality.

on the patio was delightful! No noise but inside with a full restaurant, the noise level would have been uncomfortable. We were happy to be out on the patio. The food was unique and delicious. There were some things I would have changed, but it did not ruin the the quality and uniqueness of the food. Service was slow mostly due to being short staffed, and the restaurant being completely full. Not sure how it would have been otherwise. Our server apologized numerous times for his mis- steps. I would return again in a heartbeat.

Supposed to be a romantic birthday dinner for my wife Food and service great seated us in the big room w a cooperate party of 30 could talk to each other easily could have put us in the bar area which was sparse and quiet I'm on the fence why put us where we were no consideration for peace

Our group (5 women) was on our way to Columbus for a show & randomly chose this restaurant off OpenTable because we wanted the ease of making an online reservation. We were SO happy with everything. Our server Avery was adorable and helpful and very patient with all our questions and antics. The food was incredible, the drinks were delicious, and the space was beautiful. We had a very early meal time (4:30 pm), so the restaurant was pretty empty. I can't speak to the volume inside when it's full. But next time I go I'll be able to say more- because I'm definitely going back!
