We so enjoyed the food. The device was great, definitely we will go back.
Great place! We decided not to cook for Thanksgiving, since it was the just the 2 of us. The menu was cut and 1921 was only offering a special course for Thanksgiving. The food was on point! The turkey breast was moist and succulent, and the rest of the plate was amazing. The “wine book” offered anything and everything a wine drinker would want. We chose a nice Pinot Noir from France. Our waiter was very personable and knowledgeable. This definitely a place that you don’t want miss. We will be back in the near future.
As always, excellent food, outstanding service, great atmosphere.
I would highly recommend visiting 1921... The atmosphere is awesome. The food and wine list is excellent! The service was outstanding. Our server was on point and there was a lot of teamwork by the staff.
Always a great experience at 1921. The food, drinks, and service is so on point. Highly recommend!
Everything, except the choice in background music, was perfect. When asked, they did turn it down .
Went in a Sunday. So nice and quiet. My wife and I sat at the bar. Only one more couple and a single came in. Food was great and the drinks were amazing! Don’t expect it that slow. We’ve been there when it’s really busy. It was such a nice atmosphere that was unexpected.
Overall it was about the best experience I could have dining out! The New York strip was phenomenal, The South African wine was superb, short rib fell off the bone, And our server Chris was extremely knowledgeable and the ultimate professional.
Wonderful service, amazing flavor in the food and drink... The spacing of tables allowed us to have a regular volume conversation and not interfere with others; other conversations did not interfere with our table either... Absolutely Delightful!
Always different and interesting items on the menu. The service is exceptional. We are welcomed by the entire wait staff for a real sense of community.
Outstanding! The service was excellent and the food delicious! Highly recommend!
Outstanding food and service . you wont be disappointed. Very creative dishes.
Phenomenal wine list. Best restaurant in Mount Dora area.
Portions were small, menu was horribly limited, prices were high and quality was mediocre at best.
Service was great and ambience was excellent.
My husband and I had a great bottle of wine, and greatly enjoyed their milk buns. The duck entree was very good, and cooked as ordered. We added a side of carrots, also good, and crispy potatoes. These were quite vinegar tasting. The shrimp appetizer was less desirable. Slight chlorine taste, as well as heavily paprika. Would not order again. Ordered this with a side of grits, these also were less desirable. Very coarse, lacked flavor. Weird to have corn mixed in with them. Considering this was a $140 meal, we probably wouldn't return for dinner service. We've had brunch here, which was delicious. It's a great stop for drinks. I believe there is better food options in downtown Mount Dora. If you like an eclectic flavored menu, I'm sure you'd enjoy it.
Perfect place for date night. Food was delicious and service was excellent!
Food was very good as usual; Ryan/waiter was excellent; Staff super professioanl
The meal was fantastic. I had the grouper , my wife had the duck , and my son had the burger and all was delicious.
Great food and service. Would definitely recommend to friends and strangers alike.
This was our first time here. We had a wonderful evening out. Our server was absolutely fantastic and the food was delicious. We will certainly be returning.
Cocktails and quail were outstanding, filet was chewy and undercooked (sent back 2 times) but veggies were perfect and cheesecake was heavenly! Will return but skip the filet!
The bartender was top notch! A definite asset to your restaurant.
Food and hospitality was excellent. Recommend eating outside if weather permits.
Great food, ambience and service! I would recommend it for a ladies night and for couple’s date!❤️
This was our first time going here, and we visited the last week of Magical Dining. I was so impressed! The decor was eclectic, the tables were nicely spaced out, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Our server Chris was fantastic. He made outstanding suggestions, and never made us feel rushed even though we were taking a bit longer having a toddler with us. We are already talking about going back on a weekend to try out the lunch menu. Fantastic experience.
BEing a week night we ere seated immediately and the wait staff was extremely attentive. We never felt rushed to finish our meal and visit. The food was awesome!
Everyone we talked to in town highly recommended and raved about 1921. But it was lackluster. I will say the cheese board was phenomenal. The cook on the duck and pork chop were perfect but the pork could have used more sauce. The carrots with the duck were great. The sides I had which were the brussel sprouts and white beans lacked seasoning and were under cooked. Not sure if they were under staffed or if our server was just super busy but we felt like he was always rushing and too busy to check in on us even though we saw attending to other tables. Overall our experience was just mediocre which was disappointing since we had such high hopes for this place.
I enjoyed the best filet I have ever had!!! We’ll be back!
The Sunday Supper Ropa Veija was delicious, Umami as the Japanese would say. The wine pairing was superb
Jumilla Cabernet and the key lime pie for dessert was outstanding. Good value for money. We will do more Sunday Suppers.
Older lady at hostess stand was a bit rude and unaccommodating. Filet great and so was the brussel sprouts. Short ribs were awful. acorn squash was also tasty. Waiter was a bit odd. We would request something and he said nothing and would walk away. Left us wondering if he even heard us... like I said...food was pretty good but because of the rude staff I won't be back. customer service is key during these times
Enjoyed everything about our dinner Saturday night at 1921 from the delicious food to the outstanding service. Highly recommend restaurant for a special evening or just a night out for a good meal!
We sat outside, which was pretty but there were mosquitoes
Great night. Great food. Front desk should step up their personality but everything else was amazing.
Wife and I split the Ribeye and the Kale Salad. The atmosphere was elegant with interesting art pieces all around. Feels more winter park than lake county. No kids menu which was a bummer. However the the steak and salad were delicious and the service was just right.
We went for lunch and it could not been more perfect!
Great food, beautiful decor and artwork
Excellent food in a beautiful setting. Unique menu and cocktail selections.
