   Valets were very personable. Alexander was an excellent server. Bourbon smoke was tasty. Scallop dinners was amazing. The flat bread for the shrimp flat bread was not good. Went upstairs to roof top bar and sat at the bar to sit there for 10plus minutes and received zero service and not a single acknowledgement that we were there. Bartenders to busy serving a group of loud guys that in came in after us. Ended up walking out.

   We were sat quickly, but did not get any service until almost 20 mins after that. They were about 40% occupied so no reason for the wait. Food was overpriced for the portion size compared to other similar restaurants. We won’t be back.

   One of the worst meals I have had in a long time. Smallest oysters I have ever seen, shrimp was way over cooked, worst piece of short rib I have tried to eat. Sever hardly ever stopped by. When I didn’t finish my meal and let him know that it was not a good piece of meat, he did not offer something else or try to make up for it in any way. I will not be going back, especially considering the price.

   The Raviolo was truly a unique artful dish to eat with the lobster being perfect. My friend enjoyed the short rib flatbread. Service was prompt, recommendations were “spot on”. The view of the ocean was relaxing. I felt the music on cheap speaker above us was a bit loud and not relaxing, it was hard to share dinner conversation without elevated speech. Overall, an excellent choice for a perfect evening out with a dear friend! We will return.

   Loved the rooftop for drinks! Pros: The service at the rooftop and restaurant were both stellar, views are wonderful. Cons: There were 4 of us in the party and none of us were impressed with our meals for the price. We felt the food was average. However, we all agreed the pros far outweigh the con and we’ll definitely be back.

   It’s not that I didn’t believe the previous reviews but my wife wanted to try it anyway. Unfortunately for us the reviews were correct. The venue is striking, the view amazing but the food is overpriced and mediocre at best. Lots of better choices in PVB. Come for a drink and go anywhere else for food. We won’t be back.

   This is the fourth time I have eaten at 1912 and what I have found is that nothing is consistent at this restaurant except for the excessive prices. This visit we sat outside (our mistake the wind was high and the air was cool). Our server was very nice but our wait time to order was long and the wait for the food even longer. We were ready to get up and leave but finally, after about 50 minutes it arrived. The food was good but definitely not worth the price. I feel like the ambience at 1912 is a bit off? The layout just makes no sense to me. I do have another reservation in May because my friend is coming to town and she has asked me on each of her last two visits if we could go there. So I hope my next visit is better.

   Great service. The food was good! A little pricey for the overall experience. Would definitely go again.

   Rooftop was beautiful however service was poor. No happy hour, which is a big miss.

    when they served the wine they didn't offered a taste. (It was fine). We ordered a charcuterie board at the same time and took 35 minutes after wine arrived to bring to our table. The quality of the food was acceptable and but overpriced.
