   We couldn’t eat the sirloin steak, over cooked and very tough. The fries were stone cold and the salad was not good. The sauce served with the steak was also cold, the 1/2 mushroom was nice though.

   First of all i would love to thank the really lovely staff, the ladies and the taller gentleman behind the bar were very welcoming and skilled with their mixology. There were orange bitters added to the French martini i ordered but other than that it was flawless. When seated at our table there were a couple of dirty glasses, you could spot marks on the wine glasses of other tables but i guess it just wasn't looked over. The young man serving us with glasses on was very friendly and welcoming, he had good knowledge on the menu and checked in with good timing between courses. The food was spectacular, my steak was expertly done and the chicken burger was very impressive. Absolutely amazing. When we were offered desserts i asked for a modification to make a dessert cocktail and the bartender BLEW ME AWAY. The presentation and overall flavour was outstanding. The bar team stole the show last night (other than the steak). I will be happily returning to the 1907 Restaurant and Bar.

   Fantastic food and well priced. The staff were lovely too, although no one was able to greet me upon arrival. So I was a bit confused with this being my first visit. Nonetheless the service thereafter was great and I will be coming back for more, for sure!

   Average afternoon tea. Sandwiches other than the smoked salmon were quite tasteless. Scones were nice. Service could have been better

   Very welcoming as we were late, due to all the current roadworks. Lovely restaurant. Food was delicious. I had a voucher for a three course dinner, which I purchased from the offers, on the hotel being open 15 years, which was good value for money. My only criticism was there was confusion with all different menus being handed around, as the voucher allowed us to eat from the inclusive menu or pay extra for other options. It would help to have one menu which includes all the inclusive options. We were the only diners in the restaurant on a Friday lunchtime. It didn’t feel awkward at all & the team were attentive aswell as giving us space to enjoy the meal. I have already rebooked to return!

   We are so pleased you enjoyed your lunch with us in 1907 on one of our special 15 year offers! We do like to offer our full a la carte menu to all guests so that you have a full choice of dishes and as you said the inclusive items were indicated and supplements if you decide to chose from the a la carte selection. I am so pleased the team looked after you and you felt nice and relaxed - we look forward to seeing you back again !

   Went here for breakfast before visiting Brooklands Museum. Booked online as not staying at the hotel. Greeted by very nice staff. Offer of all you can eat buffet breakfast for special price of £15 per person plus 3 hours free parking. Lots of choice including veggie sausages. Very good value.

   Service was not as expected & when asked what sauces had in them for allergies waitress couldn’t answer then proceeded to avoid us completely Food quality was good & the singer made the atmosphere enjoyable

   Excellent vegan food! Looked like it was great for steak lovers as well. Very busy and lively atmosphere. Lighting and decor really nice. We all had a great time.

   We have booked for an early dinner and mentioned in advance that we had a few vegan guests. Despite the fact we were first in the restaurant for a dinner, half of the vegan menu was not available “because they run out of dishes”. Despite a very friendly and positive experience in putting the order through (and being warned that we need to give a table back in 2 hours), we waited for a cold flat bread and houmous for more than 25 minutes. Drinks were served promptly and they were delicious. Then after waiting for 1hour 15 minutes our main courses arrived and 5 minutes after they randomly served our starters (!) which we asked to take back as it was too late and the main was getting cold. The main dish (fish green Thai curry was quite tasteless, lacking flavour and aromas of green curry), which was disappointing. Some other dishes like ribeye steak were much much better and flavoursome. By the time we just managed to finish our meal we have been asked to pay the bill as “the other party was waiting for a table” which left a big question about the restaurant’s hospitality and desired customer experience (especially after such a long wait for a food). I am not sure that such experience makes me feel excited to come back any time soon, sadly.
