We have a private dining room and a large outdoor deck, perfect for outdoor dining during the warmer months. Our atmosphere is comfortable and casual, ideal for dinner parties and special events.View Private Dining Details
This restaurant has consistently deteriorated since opening - I believe there have been several changes in the kitchen and staff (at least that's what it feels like). There is very little innovation on the food side - that's ok but the flavor needs to be there and it's just not.
Service the last three times has been terrible - why would I go back after the first two bad services? Because this used to be my favorite place, but no longer. This most recent reservation was painful - we had to ask for someone to take our order, refill our coffee (asked twice), bring our check, etc. We were there with friends and it was painful.
This place is in a great location but it's not worth the frustration and the value for the food and experience is simply not there.
The place looks nice, but on a Friday night it was so loud that I could not talk with my table mates without yelling. The stone motif needs some sound deadening to make it a comfortable place to have dinner with friends
Great food and good service, but holy crap it's hard to hear yourself think in that place! I don't know what's going on with the acoustics but me and my husband had to yell at each other across the table to be heard.
Love the waiter, Peter. Great entertainment. Good food.
Horrible service. Good looking food that was not so in taste. Raw fish.
We had the scallops as a starter. I got the lobster, shrimp, and swine pasta and it was delicious! It’s a very filling pasta so it’s not for the faint of heart. We went there for my boyfriends birthday but the hosts and our waitress didn’t acknowledge it even though I included it in our reservation. Even though the food it was great, I was a little disappointed that we went there to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and my request for a booth and dessert wasn’t acknowledged despite booking the reservation on opentable ahead.
The deck was just super!! The bar looks really fun too. The other indoor room is not very warm or welcoming to my taste and was very noisey. We were seated there initially but a fabulous waitress was able to move us onto the deck.
The salmon sandwich was meh. The roll reminded me of what you would get at a fast food restaurant. The food was okay but the price was high. I was not impressed and will not be back.
The food was excellent. NOISY due to all hard surfaces and full. Couldn’t even hear what my adult daughter was saying sitting 2 feet max from me. Once some early diners left it was much more pleasant. Per husband & adult son-“best prime rib in Edmonds”. Visited on a Sunday with 6:30pm reservations.
Went for a birthday celebration yet the staff was on another planet that night. Clumsy, dropping dishes several times, inattentive, missed several opportunities to up-serve the meal, missed the birthday recognition (which they normally recognize), and even missed the Open Table confirmation that we made it to the appointment. Food was good, and drinks had fairly light pours. This was our second trip there and first was great! An off night..... I hope....
The space is lovely. Great food and lovely staff.
Really great food. Space is new and well done.
Poor hygiene for the table bussing. Waiter could have been a little bit more considerate at times ( filling beverages more often, not asking guests to gather plates for her, and maybe offering blankets for the cold outside weather when our food was significantly delayed). Food was significantly delayed. Decent food but the price was too high for the quality. The main thing you're paying for is ambience, which was quite good.
Great Restaurant, always fun. Fantastic cocktails and food.
this was our third time this summer at 190. This was the best so far. The service has been very slow previous times but this was great. Could be the former times were very busy and hardly anyone was there at 5PM on a Sunday. Keep working on the service and you won't have any tables empty!
Great food, everything was amazing! Service was stellar and the ambiance perfect for a birthday dinner!
Great food- chose to sit on the patio- very busy. Had heaters! Overall service was good but server forgot last glass of wine- turned out ok once we reminded her. Will definitely go back!!!
The cocktails were excellent and the food was very good (scallop risotto for 3 of us). The service was spotty; we waited quite a while to give our first drink order, and after we ordered we were informed the kitchen was backed up (many open tables in the restaurant, but I guess they had a big party in another room) and the food took a long time to come. Then the server forgot the wine we had ordered for the entree, so we were well into eating before it arrived. We had a party of 6 so there was an automatic 20% tip added; I'm normally a generous tipper but I would have knocked it down to 15% for the mediocre service if given a chance.
Amazing servers, amazing bartender and amazing food! This is the “IT” place in Edmonds. Highly, highly highly recommend 😊😊
Went for brunch on a Sunday. Made a reservation but didn’t need to by the looks of it. Yummy food & creative menu with lots of options for everybody. Sat outside - great patio. Slow service due to a large party being served ahead of us...we waited an HOUR for breakfast food - yikes! But at least our waitress was upfront about the slower service so we weren’t left in the dark.
A bit out of our way, but on the recommendation of a friend went out to Edmonds and enjoyed this treasure of restaurant.
Food and drink was fantastic, can’t wait to go again. Ridiculously ample parking.
I hope to make it out there at least once a month to get through more of their copious menu.
We love Sunset 190. The food is good and there are a range of prices on the menu. Peter is our favorite server. He is attentive and takes the time to chat with us and get to know us. We will keep coming back!
We were very disappointed with the food and service. We had a brunch reservation and were seated immediately. It took about 10 minutes for a server to visit our table to take our order, we then waited 40 minutes to receive our food. I ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs were poached hard, possibly from sitting under a heat lamp too long, and the ham was cut in thick strips which were on the dry side. My friends food was cold. The restaurant was not crowded so not sure what the issue was. I doubt that I will return.
We've been to this restaurant a few times before and usually sat in the bar area. This was the first time we sat in the front restaurant and it was a little more quiet. We had a very good dinner and the service was excellent. Our only complaint is the noise as the volume is so high it is difficult to hear conversations.
Over priced food and lack of flavor. Heard good things but our experience wasn’t anything special. A $40 steak should have taste
We have visited several times but this was the first time bringing our teenage kids. The steaks were amazing and we love how they opened up the doors to the patio. Wonderful experience all around.
We shared crispy Brussels sprouts (the table favorite with lots of balsamic glaze and bacon). Sautéed mushrooms (meh) and the steak salad with chimmichurri (very good - but needs more chimmichurri!). The ambience and location are excellent and the ample & free parking are bonuses in Edmonds. Recommended for Happy Hour
Okay would not go there again.
Great food but very long wait for service once seated.
Fantastic experience. The entire staff was attentive and enjoyable. The food was amazingly good. And they carry my favorite gin (St. George). The ambiance was relaxing, and the live musician was excellent. It makes me want to go up to Edmonds more often.
Horrible service that unfortunately outshined the delicious food. Party of 4 adults and 1 toddler and a 20% automatic gratuity was charged. Wasn’t planning on leaving a tip over 5%.
We watched the owner give a choking customer the Heimlich maneuver. He was quick professional and knew what he was doing. Barely another person in the restaurant even noticed. Needless to say that customer was extremely grateful. Tom Budinick, owner even went to the restroom to check on him shortly there after . Upbeat and fun atmosphere, everyone should try it. Love the wedge salad. In fact we made a dinner of all of the appetizers so many to choose from and so different...extremely well done by their chef
As Edmonds residents, we've eaten quite a few times at 190 Sunset and generally recommend it to others. We recently dined there on a busy Friday night and found it noisier than usual, which made conversation difficult. I had the brussel sprout appetizer (very good) and the ahi tune salad (uninspired) along with two glasses of two different red wines (decent but not exceptional). Their wine list includes some very nice wines, including selections from Abeja and Quilceda Creek, but 190 Sunset's markups put the cost at almost three times the actual purchase prices of the wines. If you want to drink good wine there, bring your own bottle and pay corkage.
Driven by 190 Sunset many times. Made a date to finally make it in. Definitely is a happening spot in Edmonds. Ambiance was modern... and noisy. Food was delicious! We opted for several small plates. Service was polite and friendly... but definitely slow - even for a Friday night. The brussell sprouts are awesome.... as was the Caprese Salad and scallops. We'll be back again.... and soon to try other aspects of their menu! Could be our new Friday night go to in Edmonds!
Enjoyed a relaxed and quiet lunch with a friend here during the week. Shared a salad and added a "tapa" type plate. Service was quick and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Easy parking.
Excellent Service. All servers worked as a team. Limited food menu for some guests. Lovely style. Casual and upbeat.
Thanks for an excellent dining experience.
Overall, the restaurant was nice. We were seated quickly but had to wait for about 15 minutes for our water until I just asked the water person to get us one. Food was excellent except Salmon filet - one of the most expensive dishes - had bones in it.
I think they were short on servers. Took a while to take our order, and one of the orders was incorrect. Food was excellent, and would recommend this restaurant.
This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and so was the service. We were disappointed to find out that you can only order off the happy hour menu if you eat at the bar or patio, but luckily there was space on the patio as we were ordering dinner also. Also, the online menu differed from what was being offered that night and I had my mind set on the tacos that were not available. Unfortunately, it started to rain, so we had to finish up fast, but overall we had a good dining experience.
The kitchen was way behind. We had to wait close to 75 min for our food. It was delicious though! Hire more kitchen staff. Still recommend going because the food and drinks are stellar!
