Fried Chicken Sunday. Get there before they sell out.
May try another time on the patio. However, this being our first time we were not blown away. The tables are close together and noise level was too high for my liking. We were seated far from the bar but the woman at the bar had a loud cackling laugh that just would not stop in addition to the other loud conversations. The food was just okay and portions were small. The Creme Brulee was cold. Waited too long for drinks and water. There are just too many other places that we enjoy in downtown Edmonds for us to consider coming back.
Greeter was courteous and showed us to our table. Our assigned server was friendly and went and fixed our drinks. After We received drinks server said I’ll give you some time to decide be back in 5. After 20 minutes another server stopped to check and asked if they could or fill our drinks. After we told them we hadn’t seen server in 20 the server took our order. The first server came with our drinks and apologized. Before our food arrived management came and apologized. Our food was awesome!! Management wouldn’t let us pay for desert, they insisted it was on the house. You will have a good time here and enjoy some excellent delicious food! Prices are very reasonable for quality, ambiance and location. Also, rest assured, if there is a hiccup in your dining experience, management is pleasant and will correct the situation.
We had such a great time at 190 Sunset! Ben, our server, did such a great job at making us feel special. It was my birthday and we wanted to go somewhere and we could be around people, have great food, and drink great cocktails! You guys rocked it on all fronts! Thank you so much for making my day special!
It was unfortunate that an apparent hitch in their technology caused us to wait 40 minutes for food to arrive
Did kitchen staff sit idle waiting for their system to work? How about resorting to paper orders to get things moving.
Food was good although the eggs were a trifle too firm for over easy
I ordered the prime rib and some cocktails. All excellent food and drink. My only complaint is that it was really cold in their. I was even wearing a sweater!
Great food, good waiter, but noise level impossible to talk over.
We sat at a high-top table in the same room as the bar, which was nice, but the room was very noisy. The restaurant was quite busy, which is great, but we ended up almost yelling across the table to have a conversation with our friends. I believe the other room is not quite as bad as far as noise...we sat there the last time we had dinner at 190 Sunset. Other than that it was a very nice evening. Service was great, food was delicious. We are a little sad that brunch is only on Sundays; it is a great place for weekend brunch, but we've had to choose another restaurant when we've wanted brunch on a Saturday.
Server and cocktail were excellent. Food was good. The only thing was the noise level...way too loud! Had to speak very loud only to have a normal conversation.... :S Not sure we'll be back soon.
Took a group of 7 to dinner to celebrate a birthday. I have dined here multiple time previously. This time the noise was just too much. Had to yell to have a conversation. 4 of us had Prime Rib. The meal was too salty and was not hot when delivered. The restaurant was very full. Pasta dish was also very salty. well try again but overall this restaurant is not as good as it was previously. Server was very gracious. Drinks were good. Had the Whiskey Baxter.
Love it! Great food, lively atmosphere. Not a place to have a quiet talk!
Reservations were for high-top seating but we ended up with a small and cramped table
The whipped potatoes were too whipped-runny and loose
The prime rib was better than most, but underwhelming
Good food friendly servers nice location we enjoyed our meal It was expensive
I wish I did not have to sit in the off the main dining room area. I hate that. Maybe because I NJ used OpenTable? Next time I will call and specifically ask for main dining area.
One of our favorite restaurants in Edmonds We have never been disappointed, the food is outstanding. Friendly staff and they pour a good drink!
Great place to dine in with friends. Gets pretty loud during peek hrs, of course. Would go again
my wife and I have been to this restaurant twice, and both times the service was fantastic. it was crowded when we arrived but we had a reservation and we're seated quickly. the food and drinks were great.
We got sick right after the food we ate.
I told them it was my husbands birthday and they said they didn’t offer anything for birthdays.
The table was small and crowded.
I asked for a drink with blue Caruso and they brought me a AMF which for a place like this is kinda underwhelming. My prime rib was raw, and still had huge chunks of uncooked fat on it.
Neil P and Lee were very knowledgeable and professional in their area of expertise. The scallops and filet were amazing as usual. Thanks for making the evening even more enjoyable for us!
We had Ashley as our guest server and she was wonderful. We really enjoyed our experience. Was a little louder than we like but was still fun.
Steaks were great as were the appetizers.
Good food, good service. A little cold and loud.
First, the noise level was pretty high, more than you would expect at a restaurant, where you expect to be able to converse with your partner without shouting; it made me feel like I was sitting in a sports bar. I had the prime rib, which was in a word, "ordinary." My wife had fish, which arrived at the table barely warm. They took it back, but when they got the dish back to her, I was more than halfway done with mine. They apologized, but no, "We'll buy you a drink, or desert." I guess they didn't understand how much they disrupted our night out.
Our server, Sig, was absolutely amazing. So kind and thoughtful. Good food and great wine. Many thanks!
This was the first time my wife and I dined at 190. We were very pleased with one exception. The cole slaw was too little and disappointing quality. Might just as well not included it. The remainder of our meals was excellent. The young lady, who waited on us was warmly friendly and attentive. She provided very good service. I have recommended 190 to several friends.
In this third attempt, we left prior to ordering dinner. Prior visits had similar poor to very poor service. Sad since the food is good to great. But this is not trying to replicate European 2 hour experience, we waited for 20 minutes to receive drinks ordered, at that point we left. We continued to visit in hopes the service had improved but it has not.
Valentine’s Day menu was great! We enjoyed everything
Food was great! Kind of expensive for what you got but it was Valentine’s Day so probably a little inflated
Service was good save for the time she took silverware between courses and forgot to bring more twice.
It was Valentine’s Day so it was quite busy. The food was great but the service was not good. The waiter left the water pitcher on our table. There was no offer of bread with the meal. There was a VERY long delay between drink order and food which, given how busy it was , was OK. The main courses were wonderful including the desert.
The server presented the check before asking about coffee and then served cold coffee. The price was pretty breathtaking with one mixed drink and one glass of wine and it still came to near $300.
The place was packed and there was really no privacy. I would go back again but not for a special day like Valentine’s Day. Too crowded, too expensive and too packed to be romantic
This was my 3rd time visiting and I’ve always been very happy. This time we had a new server, Ben, who was awesome!!!
This is one of my favorite places! The food is nothing short of amazing and the cocktails are delicious. Most restaurants have a signature Brussel Sprouts dish these days. 190’s happens to be the best. And... the Brussel Wilson Bloody Mary is a must for brunch. The service is always wonderful. I highly recommend!
Everything thing was fantastic! Sig our server was top notch. They were really busy and we told her right off the bat that we were enjoying our time and will order our courses spaced out. She was perfect, checking on us but not too much. She even let us know that ticket times were an hour which was perfect. Only only thing I can complain is the three other friends i was with orders the prime rib which was excellent but both tier mashed potatoes and veggies were cold. We didn’t let them know because it wasn’t that big of a deal. We were foresee on the protein and beverages :) will definitely be back
Food was great and service was good, but the noise level wa out the roof. There was a group of 6 of us for a 6:45 dinner on a Sat nite. Restaurant was mostly full. There was piped in music and TV’s we’re on by the bar. The general noise level was so high that we could only hear the person sitting next to us. We could not even hear the person directly across the table.
Great food. Slow service.
Wonderful staff, food and ambiance. The service can be slow, bar or restaurant. Still, worth it. Just go when not in a hurry.
We've been here several times and always enjoy it. If you can score a table on the patio, you're in luck! but inside is lovely too. The drinks are good, the food is delicious (the Brussels sprouts are to die for!) and the ambiance is just the right mix of swanky and comfortable to suit any occasion. We've gone for a celebration, to meet old friends and once just to stop by for a cocktail and those Brussels sprouts. Every time it's been just what we were in the mood for.
Kitchen was a bit slow, but the food and service were great.
I used to not like 190 Sunset. They changed my mind tonight. Great service. Appropriate sized portions. Good was well thought out and tasted delightful.
Thank you to our recent WSU grad who was our server and your event manager! She was fabulous and took care of our dinner with our co workers with grace.
The food was delicious, the staff attentive, and the noise level a bit loud for everyone in our group.
My husband and I are always looking for a nice place to go for breakfast that caters to my vegetarian needs while offering him plenty of meat options. We have been to 190 sunset a few times and unfortunately the only thing on the menu that I can eat are pancakes or grilled cheese. We decided to go again on Saturday 01/05/20019 but time I asked to have just a side of potatoes sauteed with vegetables and some cheese. They arrived with no cheese (which is no big deal) and were basically potatoes with barely recognizable veggies (such a small amount you could only see a bit of green or red here and there). They were good don't get me wrong but when the bill arrived I was shocked to see I was charged $15 (the same price as the Quinoa Hash which has veggies, quinoa AND two eggs). I loved our server so I didn't say anything but the more I thought about it the more angry I was charged $15 for what were essentially a cup of potatoes. Not sure I'll be visiting 190 Sunset again sadly.
