My experience dining at 190 Sunset was excellent as always. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere were amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.
Brian, thanks for the kind words and so sorry about the parking ticket-The building owner did NOT intend tickets to be issued for any of the restaurant patrons-rather only for those thought to park and walk on the ferry. Please take a picture of the ticket and text it to me and I will take care of it! So glad that you enjoyed your dinning experience and look forward to having you back soon! We went for brunch. The Eggs Benedict was good, but the rest of the food was horrible and wasn't what the menu described. I thought to myself when first seated i would come back for Happy Hour or dinner, but won't be coming back. The bill was very VERY large for what we got. We ended up sending a dish back and still had the biggest brunch bill ever. We ended up eating a couple things and going down the street for our real brunch... The 2nd brunch was half the price and better quality!
Ryan, so very sorry to hear about your experience. I am also going to contact you privately in hope of obtaining additional information on what you ordered. Thanks in advance of responding. Tom Budinick Owner
Had fun with friends. Shared some appetizers and had some wine. Just a little surprised by our bill but it appeared to be correct. Very nice server!
The service and food were great. Flavors were well balanced and portion sizes were moderate. The one thing my group did not like was the music. It was too loud and distracting.
Went for thanksgiving. Menu on opentable indicated it would have 190 items... only had thanksgiving basics. A lot of food was out when we went out the first time. Green beans were completely undercooked. Rolls were cold. They had some loud techno music on. Our waitress came by to ask if we wanted to start with drinks. She dropped off a drink menu then we sat for 15 minutes while she walked and talked to every table by us, and ignored our table. The table next to us came in after, received their drinks and attention before we did. We had to flag down someone else to order wine. The wine was really terrible, I didn’t even finish it. Had to go grab my own dessert forks from the waiter station caddy because our lady was nowhere to be found. She came to clear a dish but left all the other dirty ones. Really disappointing experience for thanksgiving.
Anna, so very sorry first to hear that we disappointed you, especially on such an important day. I am also going to email you privately in hopes of gaining some additional information about your experience. Tom Budinick Owner
Office happy hour
We received exceptional service from our waiter and the bartender. They were attentive to us and our needs the whole time.
The food was well prepared. The atmosphere was open and spacious, but noisy. My cocktail was the best one I've had.
The owner walked around twice to see how we were doing...impressive. Food was excellent. Waitress was great, super patient, gave us really good suggestions on appetizers. Everyone in the restaurant went out of their way to be friendly and kind and help us, even if we weren't their table.
The food was delicious, but our waitress was not very attentive. We waited 10 minutes or so after being seated before she came to the table and asked if we wanted a drink. After that it was hit and miss when she visited our table. We had to ask a bus person for plain butter. The butter they served had way to much raw garlic. Otherwise, the food was very good and the atmosphere was nice!
Restaurant is too noisy. Music is too loud, difficult to hear my husband while at dinner for a rare date night. We originally reserved a high table in the main area. But I instead requested a table in their side dining area. We could still hear the loud overwhelming music in that dining area. Perhaps some softer less obnoxious music choice would be more appealing and not overwhelming. It took away from the experience. The primer rib, though, was extraordinary! Perfectly roasted and carved. Tender and juicy. Loved the roasted broccolini. Just the right portion of potatoes. Paired perfrctlh with the house red winr 5s stars for the food and drink!
Onion soup is awesome
Great food! Quick service and very friendly!
Love this place. Everyone raved about their food choices and bites were shared. We’ll be back!
Our waiter was cheerful, helpful and always available. The noise level is way too loud and then when they turned on the background music we could barely hear each other. Our waiter promptly went and turned it down. The food was really good, but a little on the expensive side for what we got.
The atmosphere is upbeat,
The servers are excellent and know their craft very well.
Food outstanding. Variety to choose from, flavorful. The experience is always special.
Noise level was very high, suggest you put some baffles in the ceiling. On the rocks drinks were very meager in size, and time to have a second drink delivered took a long time.
Friendly, attentive service. Food was good -- fish chips and prime rib were both really great.
A bit of trouble with our reservation, but a great dinner! The food and drink was just outstanding.
Well made & tasty cocktails. Changes to the menu since our last visit but still offer Prime Rib and Chicken Dinner on weekends/Sunday. Just 1 choice for steak, in multiple sizes. Noisy as there are lots of hard surfaces and it didn't die down until about 8:30pm. Had made confirmed reservations 3 weeks in advance, reconfirmed, and had to wait in the hall for about 15 mins. pass our reservation time on a hard bench. Our waitress was efficient and friendly. Good for friends or family meals but not what I would consider a "romantic" dinner spot. There is a big screen TV with sports programs shown.
Unfortunately, we were looking for a restaurant that had food we wanted to eat. We went online and found this one read the menu carefully and saw that there were things that we would like to have. We were looking forward to having some salmon or halibut.
When we got there they had an entirely different menu. Nothing that was on the menu online was on their new menu and they had not changed it. We left and found another restaurant that served seafood.
I do not know with your food tastes Like, I just know that everything was prepared with some form of sugar. There were also no vegetarian choices even the salads had meat on them
Amazing!! Awesome food and service. Happy hour is a great deal.
One of our favorite places to go in Edmonds! Great kids menu, casual and friendly atmosphere. During the summer it’s a great place for outdoor dining too!
190 Sunset is hands down my favorite Edmonds restaurant, I love the service in the bar and the main dining area. The food is inventive and always tastes great!
We had never been to 190 for brunch before so we decided to give it a try. I had eggs Benedict and hubby had a scramble. Both dishes came with a side of breakfast potatoes. The food was very good and our server was friendly, polite, and attentive without being overbearing. We’ll be back!
Dinner was pricey, but the food was great! I would totally recommend the Steak Salad!!
Minuscule portions $6 happy hour salads served on a tea cup sized plate. Fish tacos bland.
Food was amazing. Service is spot on and friendly.
The rizoto was sooo good.
We met a friend from Seattle and her son, who was visiting from Edinburgh and both were blown away by the restaurant. Loved the food and beverage choices, as well as the vibe. The servers were really on their game and our time there ended way too soon. Our 90-minute brunch felt like 10-minutes. Can't wait to get back there!
Overall we had a good experience at 190. The server (Ben) I think, was kind, thoughtful and funny. His service was exceptional. He should get a raise!! The food was fine. For the price I wanted it to be very good, but it was okay. It can get a bit noisy when the place is full, but it didn't affect our conversation one bit. Oh, and the online menu is not the same as the in house menu, FYI.
We went for our anniversary and were seated outside at one of the fire pit tables. The food was delicious, as were the drinks, and our waiter was very knowledgable and personable. We'll be going back- LOVE 190 Sunset!
One of the best restaurants I have ever been to! The food was outstanding, the service was quick, and we couldn’t stop ordering food off the menu to try!
Wait staff was great. Much improved over the years.
Great service and food
Always enjoy this fabulous restaurant! Our go to place!
Everything was awesome. Seared ahi tuna salad is great. Og gin gimlet tasty. Awesome place.
Friendly staff, wonderful food, preparation also wonderful. No disappointments & will go back again.
The vegan dish was embarrassingly tiny and I mean tiny for $20. The acoustics were horrendous. Everyone had to shout and still couldn’t be heard. Our service person was nice but one of the four main dishes we ordered came out 15 minutes after the other three dishes were served. This is the first negative review I’ve ever written
Our waitress tonight was OUTSTANDING.
After we had eaten the waiter tells us we could not split the bill. I had two appetizers and no drinks and was in a party of 6, which everyone had alcohol. The bill was split evenly by 6. That is just wrong. If that the policy then it should be made very clear up front so customers know prior to arrival and can prepare accordingly.
