   On a Saturday night at 7:45, they were out of MANY appetizers and main course items. The waiter was trying very hard but in addition to menu issues, there were no plates or um, silverware. Meltdown!!

   We have always had good meals here. Prefer to eat at the bar or in bar area. Dan is a very good mixologist.

   To start we had the crispy rice sashimi which was delicious. Started with the feisty ginger cocktail. It wasn’t boozy tasting but more on the ginger beer side. I then switched to wine with our dinner. I had the winter salmon as my entree. It was fantastic. Well cooked and flavorful. It came with pieces of roasted butternut squash which complemented it well. Finished with these empanadas filled with melty chocolate. The crispiness was perfection. Our waiter was polite and friendly. Made sure to check in. He put in extra effort to turn on the space heater since we were out in the enclosed patio. It was quite except when a large table came in which is expected to bring noise. They had a variety of small tables with chairs on one side and small couch opposite. Would definitely recommend!

   When we arrived at the restaurant we were told tables in the main room were reserved but we could eat at the bar. Although the seating at the bar was comfortable, those tables marked “reserved” remained open for the full time we were at the restaurant. Very strange…

    A charming little neighborhood place with good food and an ambiance midway between a local pub and a small foodie place. Seating options included the bar/main dining room, an enclosed patio area, and an al fresco patio facing the parking lot. Traffic noise in the patio was noticeable but not troublesome. A somewhat limited menu, but the food was fresh and very nicely prepared. The gazpacho was pureed immersion-blender style but still redolent of fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and onion. Our neighbor at the next table had the New England clam chowder and reported it was excellent. My companion's crispy salmon and my pan-seared branzino fillet both spoke of an expert touch with fish. Both were crisp and golden with a moist and tender flake. There was a small but serviceable wine list and a small dessert selection. The service was absolutely top shelf. If I lived locally this would be one of my local haunts for date nights with the wife. Highly recommended for a casual foodie experience (or is that an oxymoron?).

    We went on a Sunday evening and there was no one there when we arrived. The restaurant is cute with a lovely outdoor space. The waiter was amiable and attentive. The food however was awful...just awful. We ordered simply. Brussel Sprouts which most every restaurant do so well these day, these however were totally insipid. No char, no flavor. We ordered broiled Fish tacos and also fried Fish tacos. They came in a double hard shell which tasted stale. Tiny slab of overcooked fish with no flavor whatsoever. Menu said it came with a slaw, but it was barely visible. An 11 year old could do a better job with tacos and I wondered if someone was just winging it in the kitchen. Enough said, will never return. Advice to restaurant: Get a new chef!

    The service was great and the patio was lovely. Unfortunately the food wasn’t good at all. My egg was literally raw on my eggs Benedict. Waffles with berries came with no Berries. Steak and eggs steak was charred. Kids burger charred.

    Cute place, food was great. Service was amazing they have a young gal who is part of the family. Not fancy, not pretentious just cute and casual. We had a really nice time.

    Woefully understaffed with inexperienced service from the few people it had working there. After 90 minutes our party of four left having only been able to order and receive a single round of drinks and our appetizers (fortunately we hadn’t yet ordered our main courses)some of which were spilled on us during service. The tables near us were all equally frustrated and we could hear them politely complaining about extremely long waits for water, cocktails, etc. A pregnant woman next to us had to go to the bar to retrieve her own glass of water that never arrived after 20 mins and multiple reminders. Ambiance was nice and location is convenient so hopefully mgmt can overhaul their workflows.

    Did a great job on space. Menu has everything. Taste is good, but food comes from upstairs kitchen and is cold. Waiter quickly corrected and got new hot plates. Problem is kitchen, not servers. Will try again.

    We never had dinner. They refused to honor the reservation and said we could sit at the bar. Empty tables everywhere, manager said our confirmed reservation came in AFTER other confirmations, so no table for us. Rude and dismissive. We walked out.

    This is a little gem in the heart of Westport! Food was delicious! Great atmosphere and our waiter was the best! I highly recommend having lunch or dinner there with family and friends! Will return soon. Karin

    This restaurant is the definition of what people refer to as "a hidden gem!" Kind of off the beaten track of Westport's cool and groovy restaurants, this place is relaxed, comfortable, friendly, unpretentious and a real treasure! The food was excellent, the service was attentive, but not overpowering and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

    we sat in an outside inside dining room, (which is the only one). and the heat was not working well. quality and taste of everyone's food was poor. my fillet steak was not edible, nor was the one they replaced it with. the service was terrible it too very long to get our main courses, and they were not served together. the one lone waiter was really very nice. thumbs down

    Charming, cozy place but the food was pretty meh. Crispy rice appi was falling apart, mussels broth lacked depth, crème brûlée custard was flavorless and with shards of caramel instead of a crispy sheet. Waiters were very attentive so that made the visit pleasant.

    Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience for our meal. The complete meal took 2 hours and 30 minutes despite only being at around 40% capacity when we arrived and even less by the time we left. The wait staff was pleasant but not that attentive. When we asked for something it did arrive in their defense. The food tasted great to us. We had 3 courses and really enjoyed the taste. It was not the normal portion size we are used to for the price. It was small. My onion rings were $5 for 6! That's pretty expensive. It feels like they skimped on the less expensive items (vegetables) which was already expensive. In summary: expensive, slow service, good flavors. I doubt we'll be going back anytime soon sadly.

    This is a small restaurant which does its best to appear welcoming and largely succeeds. The night we were there was very quiet for a Friday evening in Westport, and the reason is probably that word has got around that while table service can be quite excellent (and ours was), the kitchen is very slow and the portions can be on the small side. Overall, not a bad place to go but no particular reason to pick it out from a host of others available in Westport, unless it matters to you that the check for dinner and drinks for three was under $200, not common in Westport!
