18th Amendment Spirits Co.
We are a group of partners who care deeply about – and believe in – Downtown Muskegon. We are also passionate about spirits, craft cocktails, and good food.
By definition, 18th Amendment Spirits Co. is a craft distillery. At the same time, our Muskegon location, located at 350 W. Western Ave in the former Savings and Loan Bank, is far more than a distillery or bar. The building houses a vintage Brunswick bar, originally built in Muskegon, where patrons can enjoy exceptionally well-crafted cocktails at reasonable rates. Beyond that we offer entertainment, a restaurant, educational events, and a retail outlet. It is our hope that the former Savings and Loan Bank will become a destination for locals and tourists alike − a place to congregate, imbibe, shop, and enjoy the newly reinvigorated spirit of Downtown Muskegon.

We loved this place. The drinks were awesome, reasonably priced and the menu even told you what kind of glass it came in. Great vibe in an old bank building, high ceilings and an old wooden bar. Our server was terrific and even though it was full she came back to check on us at just the right times. Can’t wait to come back again.
Loved the food and service!! We were a little surprised that they didn’t have any beer, but I really enjoyed my hard cider. We sat outside, it was shaded and we had great service!!….the bees were a bit of a nuisance, but overall I would definitely recommend!!
Heard amazing things about this place but was really underwhelmed. $13 “craft” cocktails that were just fine. Maybe we had an unusual experience, but the distillery down the road was way better in every way
Brought my wife for a date. The food was good. The cocktails were awesome and overall atmosphere was nice
Nice food and drink, super cool space!
18th Amendment recently revamped their menu and it was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back soon.
Great cocktail list to choose from. Food was good and the space was cool!
We waited over 20 minutes for drinks and 50+ minutes for food. The manager apologized and took 50% off our bill. That was very nice of him.
The musician was OK, but too loud for dinner. The food we took to go and it was OK.
I don’t think that this is a place we will return to, just wasn’t for us.
Great food. Mostly pizza options but they do a great job.
The specialty bourbon manhattan is delicious and the presentation fun. 4 ladies shared 2 pizzas and we still took some home. Will go again.
The food and drinks were amazing! Simple menu and everything I’ve had has been delicious!
I love that you can make a reservation on Open Table! We came for the drinks, which were excellent and found that the food was very very good as well. Small menu but enough to make a meal from. We loved the sliders and the spinach artichoke dip. Next visit we will definitely be trying the pizzas. I think that many people aren’t aware of the excellent distillery and that you can purchase spirits for your at home bar! We bought 3 bottles to enjoy and share.
Since most restaurants are understaffed, I understand our 40 minute-ish wait for our food. It was delicious though. They have beatiful interiors and the table were spaced out nicely. Not too loud inside for conversation. Would still go back.
Drove from Grand Rapids to try based on reviews and uniqueness. It’s a fun atmosphere, the drinks were amazing, but the menu is limited. Food was delicious when we finally got it, but for the capacity and all the servers they had, no reason for it to be as slow as it was. Saw many people get turned away, so make sure to grab a reservation.
We love 18th Amendment; classy, fun, unique! A great addition to downtown Muskegon!
They have a mask requirement for all 🙄
I thinks this is our new favorite restaurant! Service was outstanding and the food was beyond amazing. The drinks were great as well. Such a cool place!
Menu is limited. They've taken stuffed peppers off the menu which was my favorite. Love the ambience. Felt it was covid safe.
Loved it. We will be back. Drink special I didn't care for but the ciders and pizza were great
Great wood fire pizzas. Smaller Menu...sandwiches and pizza. Better for a lite bite with a great cocktail. I wish they would add a steak menu !
Food wasn’t the greatest but atmosphere and drinks were fun.
Very good service and very good drinks. Everything in the place was picture perfect.
It’s really cool and vintage looking in the place. Great service, everything was social distanced and very clean.
I wish It was more affordable but I’m cheap! 😂
Great service and cocktails! Missed the charcuterie board that used to be on the menu. They use regular salad mix as opposed to romaine, so the greens were wilted but other than that food was ok
Amazing experience. We got engaged the day we went and the staff went above and beyond to help my fiance and Mom set it up. I had no clue it was happening. One of the staff members even sent a video of the proposal to us.
Fabulous cocktails, delicious apps and pizza, wonderful ambiance. Highly recommend
The drinks were the most amazing part of our experience at this restaurant. Our food did not come out at the same time as a group but the server was extremely gracious and compensated. The food was very good!
Changed several things on their already limited menu. Used to spend $130 a week there Friday nights but we will be going somewhere else for a while. Drinks there are phenomenal. Thankfully, this has not changed. Service the last two times has been very bad and slow. That’s with 25% capacity at a peak hour on Friday evening.
Delicious food and cocktails. Seems like it was a busy and tables were seated a bit too close... but it was a nice experience.
Server disappeared for 30 minutes. No other employee helped when asked for service.
Everything was great. The waitress suggested the appetizers and was so happy we listed to her.
Excellent food, I recommend starting with the spinach dip and housemade flat bread out of the pizza oven. Sliders are off the hook, pizza is excellent, great drinks 🍹
Wood fired pizzas, delicious cocktails, super cool atmosphere in an old 1887 bank.
Fantastic place, food and decor. Keep going back for the chesterfield drink and bar fries.
Set up more for younger people with the high top tables and wrap around booths.
Not much to write home to Mom about, it was just ok.
Great spot. Never been to downtown Muskegon before but see what they are pouring into it and 18th Amendment is a great example of the really good adds.
The food was amazing!! Loved the hand cut fries and the wood fired pizza. Staff was very friendly and attentive!!
The atmosphere was great. The exposed brick and the old bar are just beautiful!
Greet environment, drinks and food. Get out there and support your local businesses!
Great food, service and live music! Wood fired pizzas were excellent, as was the service and friendliness of the staff. Swing band added to the overall enjoyment! Definitely will be coming back and highly recommend.
The best food and top notch drinks you can only get at 18th Amendment. Our favorite place for sure. 5 ⭐
