   Beautiful meal on a Wednesday Parma night. Staff accommodating husbands request to change a Parma to just carbonara pasta and I was able to order Parma with vegetables. Service from Bri g seater yo taking out drinks ordered very fast and meals served extremely quickly too. Portion sizes super generous and I found enough had enough left overs to take back to cabin. Very happy to recommend 1895 The Royal

   Both meals, the rack of lamb and fettuccini carbonara, were delicious.

   Thoroughly enjoyed the Parmy deal. Parmy was beautiful but unfortunately the chips were obviously pre cooked and very average. Service only average considering it was a quiet night. Needs to get back to what it was not that long ago but still value for money

   Very impressed with the the staff in the bistro were very helpful and knew who at our table had what meal and we had 6 people on our table so Abigail thank you to them made out night stress free

   was no fireplace a pictures showed, as for "1895" nothing about it i old and rustic or heritage its completely redone and somewhat updated. The only thing heritage is the 1895 numbers on the logo, nothing else. . The steakhouse has a massive plywood wall not even painted, pretty ugly. the chairs are not comfy at all they are picnic chairs and sitting in the steakhouse they had kids running around and bouncing up and down the floor was shaking with LOTS OF NOISE the room echo's you cannot hear your partner across from you unless the place is empty. so it was not a good romantic valentines day date like it was suppose to be in an old heritage restaurant. Don't waste your money its basically a pub without some TVs to look at.

   Lunch menu is adequate and reasonable price and size here were 10 of us for family get together.

    This place is amazing. We booked in advance as it can get quite busy. The staff were attentive, patient and went out of their way to make it a positive dining experience. As a Melburnian, we are used to small portions and big prices. Not so here. The food was excellent quality and the portions were generous. I cant wait to visit again. Its my new favourite in Echuca. Prices are very reasonable even with alcoholic drinks.
