Experience an evening of gastronomic delight with a 5-course menu, skilfully prepared by our talented chefs, with a kitchen-side table in our newly furnished restaurant at 1885 The Venue.
With a specially curated wine list, local ales and premium lagers all available to enhance your visit – we offer a package of drinks specifically tailored to the menu on the night if you’d like to extract every last delicious flavour on offer!

Our menu changes monthly to best take advantage of time-limited ingredients and keep your experience fresh for every visit!

Our sister venue 1885 The Pub is serving food from 12pm everyday with a families and dogs welcome policy.

We also have 7 Guest Rooms available for those wishing to stay over (please call for current availability).

The first course( fish) was outstanding. I felt having two meat courses was excessive ( pork and then venison) and we would have preferred an actual small piece of meat rather than it being chopped up. The staff were welcoming and friendly. More vegetables please!

Excellent place to come for a special meal. They have lovely rooms too, so able to stay over, which adds to the occasion and means no need to have a designated driver.

Fantastic experience, great food in a lovely environment with highly knowledgeable and staff, you can even give your feedback straight to the chefs as they cook your next course. Highly recommend.

A very creative menu and beautifully prepared dishes. Fantastic service and just the right amount of info about the accompanying wines. Outstanding - would definitely recommend!

Amazing from the second we stepped into the restaurant. We were made to feel like we were the only diners in there. The food was next level gorgeous. The wine was perfect. The music bang on! Most definitely going back.
