   I had a 6:30p.m. reservation with my wife before we were to attend a concert a few blocks away at 7:30. I ordered a hamburger (supposedly the special on Thursday); my wife ordered a wrap. Our drinks arrived promptly at 6:38 p.m. At 6:55 we asked for our food order to be brought A.S.A.P. in order that we could arrive at our concert, a 5 min. walk away. At 7:20p.m. our food had still not arrived. We left $15 on the table for our drinks then left the restaurant without getting our meal which we had ordered 48 min. previously! P.S. Two other tables arrived after us and were eating the meal when we left!!!!

   We went for the wing special night. We tried wings in a variety of sauce choices. All good and the price is excellent. We had some sides such as nachos, fries. cauliflower bites and all them were very good. We will be back again.

   Overall not a bad experience. It was a lively atmosphere with a good energy. The food was ok and the service was friendly but slow. I think that was more because they seemed to be understaffed.

   Surprisingly, this was our first visit to 1881, and it will not be our last! The service is quick- not rushed- the restaurant is clean and staff are friendly and attentive. The food is quality, well cooked and presented. The selection is great and not overwhelming. The vegetarian selection is more than adequate and dishes were delicious! Definitely recommend this restaurant!

   Food was great Forgot my dinner had to go see where it was after everyone else at the table were almost finished their dinner Bills mixed up First time there and not impressed

   Service was not sucked! The server never came back to clear any tables or ask us how our meal was, we had to ask for refills on our drinks. My food didn’t arrive with the rest of the party I was with

   Nice place to have a bite before an event. Noise level just right to have a conversation with people at your table. Food was very good and well priced.

   Excellent steaks. Our party of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would highly recommend this restaurant.
