Thanksgiving Feast Buffet 2024

1878 on the Lake will be offering its annual Thanksgiving Feast Buffet on Thursday, November 28, 2024 from 11:00am - 7:00pm. Adults $68, Children 8-12 years $25, and Children 4-7 $14, and Children 3 and younger are complimentary. NA Beverage will be included for Children 12 and under. Prices are exclusive of 20% service charge and 5.5% WI sales tax. Regular menu will not be available. Parties of 11 or more may be seated at multiple tables close to each other. Seating variations are limited based on size of group and number of tables available on the different rooms assigned for this event.

Lovely lunch with delicious entrees and excellent service with great views of the lake. Bartender was super helpful and cordial. Couldn’t have asked for a better lunch.

Could not find it. Guess I was just supposed to know it was part of a resort. I've never been to this town ever. Arrived 10mins late for our reservation. View was nice. Food was so salty it made us both sick later. A group of 10 very loud drunk guys were seated right next to us. Would not recommend

The food and setting was excellent. We asked to eat out on the deck and it was wonderful! The a/c inside was pretty chilly. Our servers couldn’t have been nicer. The only issue was the bar. My husband got a bourbon drink, which didn’t have some of the ingredients and was supposed to come out smoked, and didn’t. My drink made with club soda was flat. So our server took both drinks back. My husband’s came back smoked, but still missing ingredients ( if they aren’t using them tell the staff to inform patrons or change the menu) my drink was still flat on the 2nd try. Did they think I wouldn’t notice? I should have sent it back and just gotten wine. My husband had a glass with dinner it was very good. Also they didn’t even comp for the flat drink. We will definitely go again the view is awesome and food delicious. I will not order a mixed drink.

Labor Day with family. Been the 1878 a few times and service is always very slow. Yesterday, the waitress spilled wine on my daughters white pants and spilled catsup on my granddaughters dress while cleaning the table off. Slow, messy and expensive for average food quality.

Hidden gem, fantastic vews of the lake, outstanding service, great food and drinks. Beer cheese soup was awesome, as well as pork chop and filet.

Our server was slow, confused, and unavailable often. The menu offered a breakfast meal that was only available for 2 people but didn’t say that. We traveled about 45 min to come & one of us wanted that but we were told no. The server took too long to check on us. He finally brought water. We requested coffee & waited a long time for that but he failed to bring cream. We reminded him about the cream & again, it took a long time. Coffee for breakfast is not a small detail. The view, of course, is magnificent but the service was awful & the food only ordinary.

Kind and friendly personnel - they accommodated a large group. the server was newer but lovely and worked hard to ensure our dinner was good.
