Located within the historic grounds of the Guinness Storehouse, 1837 Bar & Brasserie celebrates the best of Ireland. Named after the year Guinness and oysters were named as the perfect match, it is a beer hall with a difference.

Our restaurant offers great views of Dublin city and a menu of classics - smoked salmon, oysters and a rather famous Guinness burger - along with likes of flatbreads, sharing plates and a Guinness chocolate mousse that playfully resembles a glass of the black stuff.

All dishes are designed to be enjoyed with the range of Guinness beers on offer along with a full drinks list.

The Guinness Storehouse restaurants are open to the public without an experience ticket. We ask that restaurant visitors pre-book their table whenever possible. Walk up visitors to our restaurant will be admitted subject to availability. Please be aware restaurant access does not give you Guinness Storehouse Visitor Experience, but you can buy a ticket on arrival at admissions.

I have book a table for 12:45. unfortunately i choose seafood and after 1 hour, Seafood never arrive ! After check with staff, fish should cook during 1 hour ! Incredible. We cannot wait 1 minute more for this food. We leave. Bad experience after the visit of Guinness store.

We went to the Guinness Storehouse for my husbands 70th Birthday. It was on a Monday and late in the day and the restaurant was very quiet which I wasn’t expecting. The staff were very friendly and brought us a couple of cocktails on the house. This was a very generous gesture and made our day.

We were seated at a noisy unpleasant spot in the doorway. There were tables with window views available. We were completely ignored by the one wait person who took our order. Ignored us when we asked for a check and kept chatting with a colleague.We had to flag another wait person in order to get the check.

Food and service was excellent. We requested a window table which is what we got. No issues at all just a pity u have to do the tour to use the restaurant as we would love to come back to eat. Although we enjoyed the tour we wouldn’t be doing it again in the near future.
