This was our first dining experience at the 1833 Kitchen/Bar and it was a success! The ambiance of the dining room was stylish and the view of Cayuga Lake stunning. Most important was the service staff, including head waiter Robert! The main entree was tasty for all four of us and we would return when in the area. Robert said see you soon! Thanks.

Beautiful setting for sure! Started out with a long wait for cocktails . We were seated in the bar room and were the only ones in there until 2 other couples came in and sat at the bar and bartender served their drinks BEFORE us and we ordered before them! Then the waiters approached the bartender and he made their drinks first too! Then my fish was overcooked and hard but I was not about to wait again for another order ! The pasta did was good but portion was very small for the price!! The only thing we enjoyed was the bread and dipping sauce in the beginning. Would I go back?? Not this year!!

1833 is a great place to dine in Aurora. So far it is our favorite spot. The food is and service are excellent!

We return to the Aurora Inn for meals again and again because of the reliably delicious food and amiable, attentive service. (Shout out to the Melissa). This is a gem of a restaurant in the Finger Lakes. It also changes out the menu often enough that, even as whole food plant-based eaters, we find new dishes to enjoy.

It had been a while since we were last here and remembered an elegant setting with delicious food. Unfortunately, time hasn’t been good to this place. The decor is tired and needs a refresh. More importantly, the flies! Oh man, we spent the entire meal swatting away dozens of disgusting flies and the staff didn’t seem to want to even acknowledge it was an issue. On top of that, the menu has been pared back significantly and the food was mediocre at best. So disappointing.

Another incredible meal at 1833. This is one of our favorite places. The staff is always professional, friendly and helpful. The food is the absolute best around.
