Outstanding steaks! Service was excellent. Tyler was our waiter. Very nice atmosphere with live entertainment. Prices were appropriate. We will make it a regular stop.
Our 3rd try for this place. Each time has gotten worse. Never again.
I bit pricey, but always good service and good food
Our table probably had the worst placement in the room. I could hear the band, but we were up against a wall so I kinda felt like I was in a corner and couldn't see anything. All in all, we had a great time and we'll definitely be back.
Valentine’s Day with my wife. Flew in from chicago because last visit a year ago was terrific. This time, Steak so fatty should have been rejected in the kitchen. Rice, mushrooms were barely warm. A very disappointing evening.
Best part of 1832–steaks and entertainment. Entertainment the best of this type ever experienced.
Would recommend highly to anyone looking for a great meal!
Great food and service.
The food was amazing the service was phenomenal our overall experience there was absolutely perfect highly recommend eating there
The only thing that was forgotten was the fact that it was a birthday celebration.
The food was excellent. I suggest the shrimp cocktail, lobster bisque and strip steak.
We were celebrating my husbands birthday with a party of 12. We were placed in a private room. Food and service were both outstanding. I forget about this gem of a restaurant and I have only been twice. Definitely worth the trip for many of my friends who came from Dallas with all the options for good steaks and five star service. I only hope I can make it in to enjoy more meals at 1832.
First weekend up here at Choctaw and first time dining at 1832 for my wife and I. We started the dinner off with the house salads and their bread. The homemade vinaigrette dressing was closer in flavor we thought to a french than a typical vinaigrette, but found it rather delightful in its own way. Coupled with the incredible rolls, we were very excited for the main course. My wife ordered the filet and she was very pleased. The cook nailed the medium rare on her fillet perfectly, allowing for a robust flavor throughout the cut. Sadly, my strip was significantly overcooked (strong medium versus the requested medium rare) and the resulting flavor was not in my wheelhouse for enjoyment. But alas, we had a UFC card starting and time was of the essence so it was not an option to return it to the kitchen. It should be noted that the live music was really good as well. Not overly loud, classic music choices and it added to the mood nicely. We will definitely be back.
Our experience was not very good. A few food items were good but overall, no one at our table liked their meals. Service was bad. Very slow. I feel like it was acknowledged. The manager did visit the table. Nothing was comped though and in fact, we realized once we got home that we were charged for items we did not order. The wine specialist was a high point in the evening. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Will not be returning for anything except wine.
Food and service were fabulous!! We had the filet with Mac n cheese and the ribeye with a loaded baked potato. Absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. The Old Fashioned cocktail was exceptionally good! We went on a Sunday evening and there was a two piece group performing some songs. They were wonderful. However, the other patrons in the restaurant were a bit rambunctious and quite loud when singing along with the group. While trying to enjoy a relaxing dinner, the other patrons were quite distracting. Overall though, great experience at fair price.
Great food of ample portions. Tristan made great suggestions and rovided ultimate service. Don’t leave without trying the bread pudding dessert.
Our waitress was great but it took forever to get our food. Very slow service.
We had a great dining experience, the food and service was amazing. My only issue is that the waiter forgot to run two cards. We were a party of 11, and one party member noticed the card not being rung. The other did not, and they sent the security guard after her, which is a bit accessive in my opinion. That is the waiter's responsibility.
Totally worth the drive! The service was awesome and the food is beyond wonderful. We enjoyed every minute we were there. Kim offered suggestions, was there when we needed her... she was GREAT! Thank you for allowing us to spend the evening in the best steakhouse around!!!
We went on a Saturday night the place was super busy! Had a reservation and was not seated till 15min later!! The food was very good but it took forever to get our food and the waiter said the dessert was on them yet I was still charged for it.
The prime rib was horrible. Got a bad cut full of gristle. New menus isn’t great and they were out of oysters.
Food was awesome and we visited on a night that was not very busy, therefore we received to much service. We could not carry on a conversation without being interrupted by server or manager. Usually good but it was too much of a good thing.
Restaurant entrance is only via a long walk through the casino. 1 cent slot machines just off the door - expect high rollers I guess. Expect normal casino crowd in shorts and t-shirts while you enjoy your $200 meal for two.
Steak was great. $10 baked potato was cold and $10 dinner salad was warm.
Worse part was the smoke. For some reason it's worse in the restaurant than on the casino floor.
Would be nice to have a great steakhouse in Durant - this is not it.
Our waiter was a delight. I think he said he's been there since it opened Good place to eat pre concerts
We enjoyed our evening with an amazing steak dinner. Great getaway from the casino.
1832 is priced like a 5star Las Vegas steakhouse, but taste like a steak you would get from IHOP. Which now that i think about it is a bad analogy because i like the sirloin tip steak tips from IHOP. Let me put it this way. If your stuck at the casino and your hungry for steak you basically have no choice. Its over priced for what it is. Ceasar salad was blah, bread was blah, calamari was blah, steak was blah... i think you get what im saying.
Tylor was our server and did such a great job we have deed to our favorites list.
This is our go to restaurant every time we go to Choctaw. Love sitting at the bar and dining with my husband. The food and drinks are great! Can't wait to go back.
Meal, drinks and service was outstanding and James is an awesome waiter!
Slow service and food was cold.
Great food and service. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
Went to choctaw for New Year’s Eve. Had dinner We have eaten here many times and usually get the same thing unfortunately they had a special menu that night and my wife was not a fan of their pairings. We explained to Skip (our waiter) the situation and he had one of the managers come over and worked an order out that suited my wife. So it worked out great. Thanks to Skip and the female manager. I forgot her name We enjoyed our meal
We went for NYE and thought we could order off the regular menu but they had a set menu 5 course meal options $75, 85, 95, 120. We chose the $75 option which came with appitizer 1 deviled egg with caviar, lobster bisque or fruit salad, (we chose bisque), stuffed chicken with mushrooms & risotto,(needed lots of seasoning) and desert whiched looked like they ordered from sams club. I can’t remember what the 5th course was so it must have been unmemorable. Our waiter was awesome though!
Normally they have food. The New years menu was awful & not a good value .
No one told us it was a set menu. If I would have seen ahead of time what they were offering I would have never made the reservation. We were close to leaving , but we decided to stay & later regretted staying. What a New years disappointment .
ps. The music was very good.
Our waiter was great. Friendly and always there when we needed him. The manager check on us as did the concierge. Everyone was interested in making sure we were having a great time and the food and service was on point. We will be back!
Great food excellent drinks I think the dress code needs to be enforced a little
The Lobster was under cooked and cold. Aaron had them make another and although it came out hot, it still seemed a bit slimy and undercooked. It had no flavor, like there was no Paprika or any seasoning on it at all, and the tail was small for 60.00 or whatever the cost was it was not worth the cost. I love 1832, but this really was a bad experience food wise, the people as always were great.
Waiter and food was great. A little on the pricey side but the steak was veey good. Its very noisy and hard to hear at your table from all the people sanding at the bar inside. Even the waiter said it was always that way.
