Great environment. Good food and great service provided. Would come back
I loved that the staff made sure to make guests feel safe by wearing masks and gloves and that all tables were socially distanced. The ambiance was perfect for a date night and food was delicious!! They had plenty of options for a vegetarian like me.
Covid 19 visit - food was good- salads were hearty and fresh and empanadas were delicious. The table favorite was the mushroom it was very flavorful.
Service was no frills but prompt and met our needs despite what appeared to be one server. I will try again once fully reopened without masks etc.
Tasty food in a nice location, with outdoor seating available. Tough to find parking close by, but that's not the restaurant's fault.
Very good food and service.
The place was packed and the waiters were running around taking orders, serving food, drinks, etc. We ordered empanadas - spinach and cheese and chicken. When we took a bite, to our surprise, the filling was still cold! They took it back and later brought ones that were properly cooked.
Once we finished with our meal, they came to take the plates and clean the table when the busboy, who was in a hurry, dropped a container of chimichurri (lots of oil) and splashed two of us sitting at the table. One of the managers came with only one clean, wet, dishcloth for us to wipe the oil from our clothes and wipe the oil from the table. He did expressed how sorry he was. Nothing was offered as compensation for having oil splashed on our clothes. Not even dry cleaning fees!
Disappointed with the service. Doubt if we go back or recommend this place.
Food was great, we got the meat parrillada (lots of delicious steak). We ordered medium rare, but most of them came out a little rare. The meat was still yummy though, and we were hungry so we didn’t send it back. The skirt steak was definitely the most delicious. We also got some empanadas (beef, spinach and cheese) which were both amazing, bruschetta (bomb!), and we ordered sangria (tasty!). Our waiter was amazing, really good service overall. They even gave my Gf a rose at the end (it was valentines). Overall great experience.
I went to 1810 Restaurant based on a suggestion from a friend & I am so glad I went. I went with my boyfriend for Valentine’s day dinner & it wasn’t super crowded but I am glad I made a reservation. The ambiance was really pretty, super friendly & helpful staff. Clean restaurant & a lot of drink & dinner options. The food was flavorful & a nice portion size. The wine pairing was even better. We both enjoyed ourselves as it was our first valentine’s day together the restaurant made it feel special. We will definitely be back for date night
Ambiance was great and food was good, but nothing special. We most likely will not go back because of our service. The lady who took care of us took too long to check on us throughout our visit. As a former server who has worked in chain restaurants to dine dining establishments, there is always a rule! When the food is set on the table visit to see if anything is needed. After the first bite, take a minute and just check to see how the food is tasting. She did neither, even though we were in her direct path between the dining room and the kitchen. We could also see that everyone started to get bread when they sat down, so I am not sure if they did not have any when we sat down or it was something that needed to be requested. After our plates were pulled, it took a good 10 minutes before she checked on us again. We will go to Malbec next time based off of her poor service.
Delicious food, excellent service (there when we needed them, otherwise not there). Dining area is small but comfortable, and it was packed on the Friday night we were there. If you're going, make a reservation!
Parking can be a bit difficult as they're on Colorado Blvd just before Pasadena Ave, but we got lucky - the first space on that side of the block (closest to PasAve) was totally vacant when we arrived. There are parking garages about a block away, though.
We were there as part of dineLA, and their dineLA menu does not have items on their regular menu. We did look at the regular menu and identified similar items.
The steak was cooked perfectly, and the chocolate pot-de-creme for dessert was heavenly.
I expect we'll be back there again soon, because we had a delightful evening of dining. I'm certainly recommending it!
The food was good . Good service too. We will go back.
the waitress is very nice and friendly in the beginning. the food came in a timely manner.
I made reservations for Saturday at 9. Arrived 10 minutes earlier and was told that they were behind, to come back at 9:15. We ended up getting seated at 9:25. I also spoke to another couple who was also waiting and they too had made reservations. When we finally got seated, I wanted to try the DineLA menu. However, they ran out of mashed potatoes, and the dessert option. No discount was offered or provided despite the poor service, having to wait 25 minutes regardless of the reservation I made, and for not having certain items on the menu for DineLA. I was super disappointed.
My wife and I went to the restaurant for a nice lunch on a Saturday afternoon after Valentines. You wouldn't notice the restaurant from the street unless you were specifically looking for it. The inside does not disappoint. Its a nice setting on the inside. The food was very good. Our service experience could have been better. The host was not very friendly and neither was the server. They were both somewhat pretentious/serious.
Very kind and friendly owner and staff. My friend was late for our reservation time and they treated me like a valued guest.
Our party of 4 had DineLA reservations. All of us ended up ordering the pork porterhouse entree but different starters. The empanadas and burrata plate were both very good. The Pork was grilled to well done so it was a little dry though there it was topped with some type of sauce. I added some chimichurri sauce and I was satisfied with that. I found it curious that the pork was served with mashed sweet potatoes and green beans. Seemed more American style. I did really enjoy the pot de creme.
The guy who bussed our table was very good about clearing empty plates but our waiter was not very attentive...My water was never refilled. My husbands nor our friends coffee was not refilled either.
Create food, drinks etc. Very comfy, small place. I'll be back for sure
Absolutely amazing! The staff and food were fantastic
Excellent food and service!
1810 has been our go to for over ten years, and still, for the money, the best steak in Pasadena. The owners remember you when you come in, service is great and the tab more reasonable than more (so called) premium places like Fleming’s. I always get the skirt steak medium well and is always done to perfection.
1810 Argentinian Restaurant was a great choice for our 52 year Reunión with junior high friends. Great meal of the day (steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables) and two empanadas one of beef and the other spinach with cheese. Excellent service and good location in Old Town Pasadena!!
Delicious food and excellent customer service
Date night with my husband it’s always special. We enjoyed our food and the ambiance.
Excellent food, comes out of the kitchen quickly
Dinner experience was great. Went with my dear cousin to celebrate her birthday and I was truly satisfied with the service and the food. Staff are very friendly and professional. The ambiance is great, definitely a wonderful dining experience.
The food and service were both was good but our waitress was not the greatest. When we tried paying she told us they didn’t have change for cash which we thought was odd for a restaurant. The rest of the staff was great but the waitress was just average.
Great food, great wine, great service.
