    Took my wife to 18 South for her birthday. The place is very well appointed and as you would expect for fine dining. The server Mari was beyond excellent. Food was very good and expertly prepared. We would definitely go back.

    From the minute we walked up to the building we were treated like royalty. They go above and beyond to give you a 5 star treatment. All the food and drinks were great. We will be back.

    I have a fair amount of experience with fine dining, but unfortunately, this restaurant missed the mark. We started by sharing the Caesar salad with anchovies, which was quite good. However, the croutons weren’t house-made, which was a bit of a letdown. For our main courses, we ordered the filet and the scallops. The chef claimed the filet could be “cut with a spoon,” but it was tough to slice even with the knife provided. I ordered it medium, but it arrived barely rare. I’m not sure why I didn’t send it back—normally I would have—but I tried to make the best of it. There were a couple of sizable pieces that were completely inedible, and one bite I forced down despite a very unpleasant taste. The steak was under-seasoned and not served hot, though the microgreens on the side were visually appealing. The scallops were prepared well in terms of texture and flavor—my husband enjoyed them—but like the rest of the food, they weren’t hot when served. For sides, we tried the lobster mac & cheese and the mixed mushrooms. The mac & cheese was disappointingly bland, the pasta was slightly overcooked, and again, it wasn’t hot. The mushrooms were the worst of the evening—completely flavorless and oddly unpleasant. After a couple of bites, we left them untouched. Overall, this was a disappointing dining experience. Between the lack of seasoning, inconsistent temperatures, and poor execution, it simply didn’t live up to the expectations of a fine dining establishment.

    Everything was exceptional service food, price, and ambience. It’s a nice place to go, especially if you want to be able to have a conversation with someone everyone was very attentive.

    I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates fine dining and exquisite food! I was dressed casually since I was heading home from Florida to South Carolina. I would have preferred to be more appropriately dressed. Without a doubt, I would plan to go again! Outstanding!

    First time at this restaurant, and it won't be last. The service by our waitress Mari was exceptional! The food is spectacular. The reason I'm giving 4 is because my dish (scallops) was cold. Still delicious, but for the price you expect hot, or at least warm, food.

    Decided to give it a shot. Won't be back. Terrible value for bland food not cooked to temp properly. Service was lacking for what they're trying to be as well. No way this place survives when other better choices close by that can actually execute.

    The Easter buffet was. very nice. The only negative was the potatoes. A frozen product offered no taste. The scrambled eggs were not hot and lacked eye appeal. Other than that the food was very good. The service was excellent. The servers worked as a team insuring one wanted for nothing.

    Delicious food! The filet, shrimp, crab cakes & lamb were so good. Our server Natalie elevated our entire experience with her attentive & professional service. This is our 2nd visit here and both were very consistent. We'll definitely be back.
