1776 never disappoints! This is our favorite restaurant in Delaware. The atmosphere is inviting and casual. The music was a perfect level. Our food is always made to perfection! Our server last night was Taylor. She was very attentive and friendly and made our dining experience even better. After writing this review, I’ll be making our next reservation.

this place sets the standard for restaurants. The service is impeccable, including by the owner himself. The atmosphere is old time steak house, a bit noisy but it all works, especially with the piano in the background. The food was absolutely delicious with the exception of the king cut prime rib which was a little tough and a a little too rare. But, you simply can't beat this place, we love it every time.

Had our 55 wedding anniversary there. Food was great. Service was great. Tom the owner gave us free desert. Our server Alex is the best.

Tonight we had a birthday celebration dinner at 1776. Jodi waited on us and everything was just fantastic! The service is stellar. The atmosphere is great and it’s always always a very welcoming restaurant.

Our experience at 1776 was very nice. We have always enjoyed our experience at 1776 Restaurant. The service, our server, Alex, & others have always shown us the utmost family feel & respect. “A meal that is an experience in itself.” Warm, inviting atmosphere.” I would be happy to recommend to our friends 1776 restaurant! 😁
