Our Famous Potato Skins
Homemade Key Lime Pie
It was my dad’s birthday, and he doesn’t get out to restaurants anymore. He was very impressed with everything from the atmosphere, to the service, to the food. A perfect evening for him.
From the time we stepped in to the time we stepped out, it was an amazing experience. My wife had a wonderful birthday. Thank you to the Prime Rib staff. Our server-Sean was very attentive and very helpful with the menu.
Great job guys. We will visit again someday soon.
Best Unamed Steakhouse in USA! Prime Rib, Creamed Spinach, Wedge salad, Hot Fudge Sundae!
A favorite. Always satisfies our expectations. Enjoy returning.
Excellent experience. Beautiful decor, delicious food and attentive service. Lively dining room and the live piano and strings made it extra special. We were treated so well by everyone from the moment we arrived, Thank you.
When my husband gives 2 thumbs up, I know I had a good meal! He had Sea Bass, it was a huge piece of fish, and he devoured it! I had the filet which had such a great taste. We’ve eaten here numerous times and each time has been fantastic!
Fabulous Meal! I have taken my husband here for 5 years in a row to celebrate his birthday. The dinner this past Saturday was the best. Service was great - attentive, but not intrusive. The music was quite good. A memorable evening - Thank you!
Best Steak I ever had in Phily
HUGH! Eat dinner, eat lunch the next day and had enough for a snack the third day.
It was awesome.
Also, they had a Dover Sole special on Saturday night. I ordered it to take home
Man was it a super tasty piece of fish.
This restaurant is my ONLY go to restaurant on every and all visits to Phily from now on.
I always do fish on Friday and Steak on Saturday. I will still do it that way but I will ONLY do it at this restaurant.
Best Prime Rib restaurant in the nation.
It is one of our favorite dining spots. Very elegant. The piano and bass set the tone for a wonderful night of good music, great food, and fine spirits.
Outstanding in every way! Pianist Pete Cole and Bassist Bill Stumm were great as always!!
First class five star dining. Bring your wallet. Because it has first class prices.
I love this restaurant and have been going here for years on a regular basis. Food and service always superb and a very classy atmosphere. Unfortunately there were two children whose parents indulged and encourage them in their misbehavior. They actually interrupted the professional piano player by banging on the end of the keyboard. It was rather horrifying and we were sitting right close to the piano. Felt so bad for the piano player.
We had dinner here on a Sunday after a play. We love it here - the atmosphere is relaxing and we enjoy the piano music. On Sundays, you can also bring your own wine if you choose. Our dinners were delicious and the service was spot on. This is a lovely place to celebrate a special occasion or whenever you want a delicious dinner with a nice atmosphere.
The Prime Rib has always been one of my favorite restaurants. It can be pricey, however there is a way to keep the bill from soaring, I usually get the Prix Fix dinner for $55 and bring my own wine for a Sunday dinner after the Philly Pops matinee. It's one of the few restaurants left in Philly where you don't have to raise your voice to have a conversation with you dinner mates. In addition, they have a pianist who will take request to play your favorite songs. Parking is a breeze as they have a valet and the charge is $20.00. If you like prime rib, I think they have the best in town.
The food and service was excellent and we were able to have a nice conversation as the noise level was low.
So good the lamb the drinks I love
The Prime Rib never disappoints. Garth is the consummate host and always insures a gala evening. The pianist is the best in the business! Kudos to the operation in every respect.
I have only had good experiences at The Prime Rib and this was no exception. Our waiter, Cotter, was wonderful and made the dining experience pretty special.
Felt the food was overrated for the price. I did however go on Valentine’s Day so I’m sure this also affected the quality. Service was impeccable though.
Always love their crab cakes absolutely the best! The setting and atmosphere is always great.
Great food, service was awesome. One of our favorite spots to dine.
My wife and I celebrated Valentine’s Day at Prime. We had a great time. Food was excellent and service was top notch. We will be back!
Positives: The maitre d’ and wait staff were accommodating and attentive. The ambiance was wonderful and given it was Valentines Day it was busy and festive - the staff offered roses to my wife and son’s girlfriend.
Drinks and Appetizers: drinks were well made and delivered promptly, the appetizers, salads and pre dinner breads were outstanding - my wife’s crab cocktail was fantastic as were the crab cakes.
Negatives: on recommendation by our waiter, my son and I got the NY Strip and I was very disappointed - average flavor, was not tender and was thinner that you’d expect at a fine steakhouse. My wife had the fillet mignon and here’s too was average at best.
The ambiance and service may bring us back as service is #1 in our book, but we value food/taste/quality over ambiance so our return is questionable.
Absolutely loved it . Very beautiful , clean. Everyone was very polite. Vinny was our waitress and he was the absolute best . I will go back just to have him as my waitress again . Food was amazing
This is a (maybe) hidden gem of fine dining in Philadelphia. The food was EXCELLENT; The service was IMPECCABLE; & the atmosphere was quiet, dignified, romantic but still casual. The added bonus: the live piano playing old standards & soft piano-jazz. All in - you couldn't ask for more or better. If you want to indulge your inner "Daddy Warbucks", this is the place.
On the other hand: The cost is commensurate with the deliverables. Still, if you want to mark an important occasion & make it memorable - this will do it.
Lauren made for an outstanding experience
Excellent as usual! Food was superb. Our waiter, Kotter, was great as well as witty! Great evening.
We loved every bit of our dinner and cocktails! The service was also awesome, seating was super comfortable and the music was such a nice touch.
The Prime Rib never disappoints and is a terrific spot for drinks, dinner or special occasions. The food is outstanding and the staff is superb!
Delicious food. Excellent service!
Best ro beef anywhere. Everything else excellent. Quiet. Old School, done right!
Overall everything was great ! My server Christian was the best and i will be going there more often
We introduced some of our family members to The Prime Rib and they were all blown away. It was an unbelievable experience. The venue, service by Gabriella, food choices/quality were all over the top.
Have been going for decades. It is elegant, classy, phenomenal food and supper club setting. Most delicious prime rib ever of course. Best crab cake and crab cocktail with largest lumps of crabmeat you have ever seen. Great oysters. Wonderful salads. Must get potato skins. Shout out to our marvelous waiter Derrick. Awesome cocktails and affordable wine list including some great French wines. If you want to gave a great date night this is the place. My one beef( no pun intended) is that they need better wine glasses and need to make a point of offering cocktail and wine lists. Lovely piano and live music. Located in the Warwick Hotel Rittenhouse Square area. It’s not on the trendy radar list. They stick to tried and true classics of highest and best quality. Yum. Won’t be cheap but sooooo worth it.
The Prime Rib always delivers. A wonderful restaurant; great for a special occasion.
Excellent all around
It was my first time dining here. I will definitely be returning. Everything was outstanding. The drinks were delicious and the Prime Rib was outstanding. The bread...my god the bread was amazing! That’s what really hooked me. I’m a lover of breads. Our waiter was super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend eating here at least once. Definitely more than once too. You won’t be disappointed.
Prime rib served during restaurant week was poor quality
Nice Restaurant Week menu! Would definitely go back again.
