We went here for a birthday celebration. Despite being asked while booking if it's a celebration the staff didn't acknowledge the birthday or even ask if there was anything being celebrated. That's my one negative thing about the experience, as the food, service, and ambiance was nice. Why ask.if it's a celebration if they don't even care?

This was our first experience going to 1700 steakhouse everything was great the only hiccup is that I order my New York steak, medium rare and it was done almost well done I didn’t wanna make a big deal out of it, but for the rest of the family this takes were cooked as they were ordered. It will be pricey, but I think it’s worth the try. We have a few good steakhouse upscale in the city and this is definitely on the top. Five service was phenomenal Juan our waiter was excellent. he explained everything in detail and he was right on spot of where we were ordered. Next time. We will probably go a little bit later. It is not that crowded so it was weird. Used to be there early. My suggestion to the restaurant management is not to charge to make a reservations. This is the first time I paid to make a reservation as we usually go to Chris Ruth or any other local steakhouse and they don’t charge to make reservations.

Great steakhouse, service is really good. I would consider it pricey for El Paso but worth if you have a special occasion. Drinks are original and good.

The food was fantastic!! The ambiance was beautiful. The service was a bit slow but they were super busy, so I am sure that didn't make it easy. The servers were all very nice.

Best dining experience in El Paso. The menu is pricey but you absolutely get what you’ve paid for at this restaurant. The staff is excellent and service is not comparable to other comparable restaurants in the city. 10/10 will be back for more
