   Very accommodating for an elderly person. Recommend they update their floor throw rugs which are easily mobile and a tripping risk. Always have excellent service and food. Beautiful location.

   The brunch was excellent and the ambiance spectacular at 17 River Grill. They were having a power outage issue that was conveyed upon arrival but the service was on point and if I hadn’t been notified of the outage I would have never know anything was wrong. Just a perfect Sunday afternoon brunch.

   Service was excellent. Our server didn’t hurry us and was very helpful with food descriptions and choices. Everyone in our party loved their food. Shame they can’t accommodate parties larger than 8 without a $1500 minimum.

   There food is delicious. I got the rainbow trout and had a tangerine martini!! The view made eating there even better and our waiter was just amazing. I will be back soon with my friends. A wonderful hidden Jen in cuyahoga falls. Side note my husband was told about this place by one of his coworkers. The prices are very reasonable as well.

    We ate downstairs and the noise from the roaring river drowned out most conversation from nearby tables - so, very quiet. Great setting, fireplace, river, and warm. I understand this location is much more crowded during the summer. Terrific server. Food served promptly.

    I love bringing out of town guests to Chagrin Falls and especially to 17 River! The staff is outstanding at honoring my request to be seated by the window with a view for my guests. Our server was awesome! Thank you for being my go-to restaurant in Chagrin!

    Almost Perfect…So I’ll consider it Perfect overall. Our party of four dined on a Sunday evening. Our waitress was excellent from beginning to end. Cocktails were great. Appetizers, meatballs and calamari were excellent. Ceaser salad, burger, a chicken dish , and roasted chicken were also excellent. One person ordered the fish special served with roasted Brussel sprouts and couscous.… Unfortunately they were out of the sides with the fish special and had we known, we would have gone with the salmon… we had a great time and will be back!

    The atmosphere is what makes this restaurant so special. A beautiful view of the falls of Chagrin. The hostesses, wait staff, and management were very attentive, friendly, and available. The menu could use a few more options but overall the selection was nice and varied. The quality of the meals are what need the upgrade for them to fit this type of swanky restaurant. The biscuits were to die for and definitely “heavenly” as their name suggests. The classic cheeseburger and cedar planked salmon were good but nothing exciting. The lemon parmesan chicken surprisingly was the star of the show. A hearty portion, deliciously lemony, and served piping hot. The house made lemonade with vodka was delicious but was small in size. We finished off the evening with a cookie ice cream sundae which was mediocre and very small in size.

    The waitress was kind of disrespectful and at times it appeared that she was throwing the items on the table as she was in rush to do things. She brought the check in the middle of our food as if she was rushing us to finish after 30 minutes or so that we were there. Still we paid the tip as a courtesy to other staffs but I doubt we would go back. The food was OK

    The brunch food was lackluster. Our server Skyler was a delight and their service was great. The atmosphere is also wonderful. Would recommend dinner over brunch.

    Wonderful view of the falls. We started with appetizers of calamari (Asian styled), meatballs (moist) and biscuits (heavenly). All delicious. Mains were fish and chips and a cheeseburger. Cheeseburger was overcooked and gritty. Coleslaw was delicious. The French fries are too skinny and mostly tough. Overall an ok meal. The music is techno and does not fit with atmosphere, unless, you are downstairs in the lounge area. Seriously wanted to stand up and dance while eating. Service was quick and friendly.
