This is an old school seafood restaurant. Went there for dinner. Way over priced for what you get. Food is terribly mediocre. Rip off in my opinion. Nothing special about the ambience at night since you really can't see much of the marina. Place has slight musty smell. find a better place.
The food and service was excellent- everyone in our party loved it
I got moldy bread in my bread basket, which made me wonder, "if they don't pay attention to the bread that goes out to the table, what else aren't they paying attention to?" In fairness to the restaurant, the service was very good despite the bread incident. I ordered the snapper which was tasty but I found it a bit overcooked. At my table we also ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer and the scallops, both very good. Next time I may just eat dockside and skip the higher prices upstairs.
Great food and friendly service
Wonderful dining experience. Waiter was very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.
We had Chris as our server. He was phenomenal at communication he didn't have to repeat anything because he was very Clear, precise and expressive. He recommended some great choices off the menu. And his bubbly personality while being so attentive to our every need before we even asked really made dinner relaxing and enjoyable. Best server ever, by far in my dining experience. The food was hot, perfection at its finest. The drinks I ordered 2 Baileys there weren't watered down. The view is always breathtaking. Best, outing in a while. No negatives all positives. Keep it up! We will be back =) FYI: I also realized that I had made the wrong entree choice so he saw me switched plates without touching the food to another person at the table and he came and asked if I wanted to order something else, he didn't give an attitude at all. Very professional and open, very heart warming.
We loved our food, the portion size was perfect, and our servers, Freda, Marie, and Aziz could not have been more charming or professional. What a great restaurant!
Fantastic food, best service. One great night.
a little expensive, for just a grouper filet and 2 sides.............location is great, view is great (if you come before it is dark)
Our airport shuttle driver recommended 15th Street Fisheries and we loved it! I had the sea bass and it was excellent. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. The service was great, our table overlooked the water and lived it! Definitely will return next time we are in Fort Lauderdale!
But we were very disappointed when the mayflies hatched all over our table, in my hair in my wine, etc. And nothing was done to make up for the inconvenience. Of our own volition We got up and moved to another table because watching a dozen bugs crawl around your tablecloth was disgusting. I cannot believe that were not comped a Drink or a future meal.... or even our $3 ice cream.
Disappointed. Prices are high. $40-50 a entree. Wine a $11 a glass. I don’t mind paying that kind of money for an entree but the food was so so. Its basically a fish/seafood restaurant. The fish was over cooked. 3 out of the four dinners. The 4th was a 2 lb lobster. Very good and good value.
Dessert was outstanding. Two flavors of creme brûlée.
Salad were very good too and ample.
The view is excellent.
Next time we’ll just sit downstairs (in the heat) and have the bar menu.
Last night of a long vacation and was the best meal we had all of our vacation!!!! The blue claws were outstanding! Service was AMAZING! Atmosphere was perfect!
Always a great meal here!
My wife and I were celebrating an anniversary and they sat us in a booth facing the marina. Great view and food.
Everything, for the most part, was ok. I was a bit disappointed because once we received our food we never saw the waiter again until the end when it was time to pay. I am a black woman and my fiance is from Spain. I try not to use the race card, but we felt a little tension which has never happened to us. We made a game of it by predicting how long before someone would notice us. Everyone around us had excellent service, we know because we watch waiters come and go greeting tables, making sure they were happy. That night my fiance proposed to me and it was my birthday I wish he had chosen another restaurant.
Excellent service by professional wait staff was a nice treat. Great view of the waterway and nice ambiance in the restaurant. Food was Very Good +. Bread and dessert were excellent. Very expensive as you might expect - $250 plus tip for three of us with only two glasses of wine (total, not each). Would recommend for a special occasion.
Wonderful waterfront view overlooking Pier 66. Service was attentive yet not overbearing. Tuesday happens to be 1/2 price bottles of wine, WOW. Ordered Tiganello which they were out of then went for the Insignia at $380/bottle, what a deal at $190 ! Funny part of this story is that I asked for wine to be decanted and I awaited a taste, when I glanced at a table near me where I saw the waitress with glass and bottle in hand asking a man if he liked it. I watched in amazement and then asked if that was my bottle and she realized her error ! In all the years of dining out, this was a first !!! Needless to say, she apparently was so embarrassed that someone else took over our table from there.Apps were good, red shrimp cocktail, crab cakes and head on spicy shrimp. Entrees were all large portions consisted of snapper, grouper, and fruiti de mare. All prepared well but requiring some additional seasoning at the table. It was a 6:30 reservation and by 8:00, the place was a mad house. So lucky we got there early !
First visit and it was amazing.
My friend was celebrating her birthday. The customer service and attention was excellent ! We shall definitely return.
Great service and great food with a beautiful setting.
Food was great! We sat near the kitchen so it seemed a little noisy. All in all, great experience
Enjoyed the dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The happy birthday card waiting on the table was a nice gesture.
The food was delicious and presented well, but the appetizer came out the same time as our main course which was a bit surprising. The staff apologized and we were compensated for it.
Overall, a really nice restaurant that I will be visiting again.
One of our favorites when we are in Ft Lauderdale!
Wish we had a better table.. I requested the porch but there was a private event. Seated in a back area where 2 of us had somewhat of a water view but one did not.
We had been wanting to visit here for over a year and picked a special date night to try it before heading to a show...the view at our table by the window upstairs into the intercoastal was nice... the food however was not anything like I expected for the price and description...I chose the mahi...fish wasn't seasoned well, wasn't hot and didn't seem fresh... the mashed potatoes also seemed old or warmed over, and my green beans were undercooked...our server was very nice though.
Fun place with good seafood! Kids loved feeding the fish-
What a wonderful dinner. Window seats gave us a great view of the Intercoastal.
Aziz and his serving partner(sorry, I have forgotten the lovely lady's name) were exceptional.
I had a large group, almost everyone ordered something different, about half the table ordered seafood the other ordered steaks, everyone said that they really enjoyed their meals.
Had a dinner with the family. It is a gorges water view from the second floor but that's about it. The service started promptly with the description of the specials and delivery of the bread and drinks after that we were forgotten. When we ordered the food it took about 30 minutes before my soggy, tasteless "Fisheries Salad" came in. Then the main dishes were brought in. My wife's dish "Seared Diver Scallops" were not that good (overcooked), asparagus was limp and not crunchy. My seafood medley "Fruits of the Sea" was just terrible; overcooked, over salted and drowned in some ketchupy tasting source. The other members of the party ordered "Pan-Roasted Grouper " and "Miso Glazed Roasted Sea Bass ", they claimed it was ok. Did not stay to taste the desert. In my view it is subpar overpriced establishment to be avoided.
Had a great time, food was great and couldn't have asked for anything more
Les enfants ont adoré nourrir les tarpons 🐟
Birthday! We had a great time! Food was amazing, atmosphere and service could not get better!
Great food and service, celebrated Birthday with family and enjoyed myself. Will be back
Romantic with a great view of big yachts
Old FL feel is right. We were upstairs in the "nice" section, the carpets were musty and the table was so slanted I had to keep my drink across from me. I am from Florida but live in Boston, so I KNOW good seafood and am not price shocked if the food is worth it. This place was not even close to good for what we paid. It took a solid 15 minutes to get up to valet to get inside. The hostess was rude, must have also been the same one on the phone that told us there were no openings but then were able to simultaneously book with no problem on Open Table (multiple times showing). The crab cakes were a shredded, over breaded, under seasoned mess. The Rock shrimp salad had two, if that, cut up pieces of shrimp, atop limp, brown edged iceberg, unripe strawberries and it was drowning in dressing. My snapper was great, but it was a VERY small piece of fish - totally underwhelming. My date got the salmon, which was also nicely done, but the accompanying plate of carrot mashed potatoes and the maple glazed whatever, was sticky, overly sweet and just gross. We were very disappointed.
From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave the staff makes you feel very important. Excellent food, service and atmosphere.
Attentive service, fabulous food, and a gorgeous day made our experience a fabulous one!
