Overpriced, overpriced and oh did I mention it was way overpriced? Made reservations not knowing they were for the “upstairs” dining room. Was looking for a light hearted fun evening and what we were hit with was a huge price tag.
The food is really really rich.
The food was great. Everything we had was delicious. The sea bass was one of the best I have had. My wife and I shared the key lime pie. Next time I won’t share it. It was a little different but one of the best I have had.
lobster was overcooked and cover in a sauce, that was just not what i was looking for.
prime rib was great, vegs were great, desert was outstanding
I have been here before and was disappointed this time. The rolls which were always so good were hard and stale-ish. I remember the raisin ones before One of our diners asked for just plain penne with sauce, no shrimp. I was shocked to see that there was no adjustment made to the price and we were charged $36 for a bowl of penne pasta! That was the end for me. My daughters chicken was also quite dry and unappetizing. The snapper was very good, which one would expect from a fishery. The crab cakes were also very good. Drinks were not great, somewhat watery. I will try again next time I'm in Ft. Lauderdale and hope that the experience is more like my first time than this last time.
Excellent service very good food good setting
Excellent food- attentive service- nice window table with view of yachts and harbor. Was surprised how empty it was!
Service wasn't good food took to long to come, but the food was great.
First time we’ve visited. It was amazing!!! Very happy with the food and service!
Menu items were not appealing. Food was good, but not worth the price.
Prices on line were lower then at the restaurant.
We had a wonderful night at 15th Street Fisheries. The waiters left no stone unturned. The food was excellent.
Had a wonderful time and certainly a delicious meal. Can't wait to come back.
All I can say is that the whole overall experience was amazing from the service, the meal to the desert. Great atmosphere, great scenery of the intercoastal while you eat. Coming back next time I'm in the area.
I had high hopes for this place. After reading the reviews and seeing pictures of the place I thought it was going to be much better then it was. The food was just ok, and for the price there's much better options out there in Ft. Lauderdale. The website and online photos portrayed this place in a much better light then it was. Food wasn't all that flavorful and it really didn't live up to the price tag.
I found the pricing rather high. $302.00 plus tip. I don't think there is any need for your pricing to be so high. I am a snowbird Massachusetts and I know how a 2 pound lobster tastes and your was more bitter then sweet. I was very disappointed. The other 3 people in my party enjoyed there food because I was paying for my Anniversary.
The food and service were excellent. We had a gorgeous view of the intracoastal and marina. It was noisy but I think that is because there were two large parties on our dining room. Overall very nice!
Found this restaurant last year. Had to return when back in town. Love it!!!!!!
Skip this spot and you'll be missing out! Great experience.
We had a fantastic evening at the 15th St. fisheries! Our table was up in the corner overlooking the beautiful boats. The service and food were fantastic.
We had a very nice experience at 15th Street.... food was delicious, service was friendly and attentive, with a beautiful view. You can’t ask for much more.
Great view and great service.
Excellent food, service and ambiance!
Great food, Great service and great view. What more could you ask for?
Everything was great until they refused to honor a free appetizer or dessert card despite us spending over $300 on our meal. The card stated nothing about specific requirements other than 2 entrees were to be ordered. We ordered 4 in our party.
Great view outdoor dining experience , good tourist spot but don’t expect a great meal, very expensive and bland food best thing I had was the free bread at the beginning of meal
Our waiter was fantastic but I can’t remember his
He lived in NYC for awhile and was an actor and musician. He was the best part of our evening although the food was exceptional, also!
Just an all around fantastic evening for us. Would recommend for everyone but a bit pricey. Downstairs less expensive I think. Plus huge tarpon outside.
Hostesses are unprofessional and rude every time but once you get to your seat it gets better...the view and food is great! Nice local gem!
After writing a bad review for this restaurant. I received a phone call from the restaurant's manager Kevin Burke. He apologized for the experience , that I had at his restaurant, and asked if I would try the restaurant again.
Since, we had been there before the incident, and enjoyed our experience, I figured to give the restaurant another chance. Well, it was a 180 degree transformation !! We were seated in a timely fashion, the service by Mr. Cummings was excellent, and the food was superb. Since then , we have been back twice , and have had an excellent experience each time!
In fact , I'm going again tonight with a large party to celebrate an event.
Soup and bread were very good. My wife's entree was dry and flavorless. My entree was passable, but certainly not outstanding.
Accommodation for 6 adults and and 5 children was very good. Our server, Allyson, was attentive and very nice. Choice of food, including Kid's Menu was great. Children had fun feeding tarpons. We enjoyed ourselves and the ambiance. Definitely will recommend and return.
Great atmosphere and service. Food was excellent. Had the shrimp pesto pasta
Excellent service and excellent food ! The wait staff was attentive without hovering, and made excellent suggestions/comments about portion size and "favorites". The desserts are HUGE - 4 of us shared the 2 suggested (brownie and key lime square), and either 1 would have been sufficient (but I am, glad that we tried both !)
A terrific meal with terrific service. The sea bass was prepared and seasoned perfectly. We will definitely come again the next time we visit the area.
We had an awesome time sitting on the top floor overlooking the water! Service was excellent! The food was divine and the dessert was to die for. Overall wonderful dining experience.
From the minute we exited the taxi I knew it was a special place. The feel of a well established local restaurant was evident, warm welcome from the staff, seamless communication as we made our way to the second floor. We were seated at a lovely window table with a perfect view of the canal and the draw bridge too. Our waitress was fantastic attentive and informative but never intrusive. First a perfect dirty martini with some amazing little cheese and jalapeño puffs, so delicious. Then a salad of tomatoes and the creamiest burrata followed by a nightly special of Stone Crab Claws. We had the jumbo claws, they were large well chilled and so fresh, truly delicious. They were sweet with the most delicate taste, and the mustard sauce was the perfect accompaniment. I will recommend this restaurant and make it a must on a return visit to the area. Easy to see why it has been around for years.
Our go to favorite when we're inn Ft. Lauderdale, and we make a point of coming to celebrate our anniversary. Always a special occasion!
We had a really nice table overlooking the innercoastal so we can watch the boats and enjoy the transition from evening to night time. Service was very attentive helpful and well informed. We started with a helping of stone crab for the table and the sauce was particularly good. All the entrées were well prepared and very tasty. The desserts and espressos topped off the meal. It was a very pleasant evening, although the prices are a little high so overall feeling of value was average but worth it.
Top quality seafood, all of it delicious.
