We enjoyed everything about our dining experience. The staff was courteous and attentive. The food was delicious. Grear views.
Absolutely the best restaurant on the Ft Lauderdale marina!!!
First time here and came away impressed. We first had a drink at the bar which overlooked the water and there were lights shining under the water and there were large fish swimming that we could watch. For dinner we were taken upstairs and we had a window view overlooking the water and it was quiet and very romantic. My better half loved her vegetarian dishes and said she would love to come back because hers was excellent. I ordered a blackened Mahi Mahi with roasted potatoes and the blackened fish actual was bland and was very small for the price. The Creme Brulee we ordered for dessert was excellent. All in all we would recommend this restaurant.
Ist time here. The dinner reservations area upstairs is a bit pricey. If you dine downstairs there is an option to use the upstairs and the downstairs menu.
The food was generally good, as expected. We had shrimp and grits as an appetizer and the grits were undercooked. The salmon and lobster main courses were very good, made even more enjoyable because the lobster was prepared for us to eat without a struggle. We always return because the sea food is fresh and the water views from up or downstairs are lovely.
Wonderful maritime ambiance, Old Florida feel, just fabulous! Great food too!
The service was great! We ordered the Miso Sea Bass with mango fried rice and Grouper with quinoa both were absolutely delicious!
The food and service made dinner so worthwhile. If you get a table by the window, you can watch people feed the Tarpons in the river.
First visit in about 7 years and found experience similar to previous visits. Staff super, location amazing and food still very good.
The view and the service were great, but the food was not good. At all. Definitely not worth what they charge.
Wonderful food and outstanding service. Expensive but worth the money for the experience.
This beautiful restaurant has been here since 1978 and it's just as good as ever. We sat in one of the small rooms overlooking the water. The view is wonderful, and we got to watch the fish swarming as the guests threw food for them. The service was wonderful, as was the food. I had crispy snapper which was the best snapper I've had. One of our favorites!
Everything was good, but I had a shrimp cocktail and I should have sent it back, it was not cold and the shrimps were tough. We were with company and I did not want to make them wait for me.
Great food and excellent food and service. Nice view from out table. My boyfriend birthday dinner is great and we will definitely come back.
Great service and like always, great food.
We are residents and 15th Street Fisheries is our "Go To" restaurant. We usually dine downstairs with our favorite server, John Burns. We were expecting the same quality of service as we always receive from John and we did receive it! The staff was excellent. We had anticipated staying until the fireworks with hopes of enjoying the view from the dock or from the upstairs with the select group of diners who had reservations. Our biggest disappointment was that they closed at 10:00 PM! Faulty assumption or failure to do my "homework," I guess, because I failed to see that they would not be open l until midnight on New Year's Eve. However, our love of 15th Street is not diminished!
We arrived on time for our 7:45 New Years Eve reservation. We were escorted to our table without delay. It was a very nice table! We were seated in a table upstairs in the corner of a room surrounded by windows overlooking the river. It was already dark so the lights reflected off the water. Very cozy.
Everyone was happy with their selections. I and one other had the Shrimp Pesto, which tastes more like an Alfredo than a Pesto, but was delicious anyway.
The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the chocolate cake--unless you are a real chocolate lover.
New Year’s Eve
The restaurant is very pretty and maintained very well. We have eaten here for years.
The service was ok and the food was only mediocre this time. We were disappointed and may not go back for a while. We remembered much better experiences over the years. This one was not memorable.
amazing entree selection, very reasonable wine prices! highly recommend!
We visit 15th Street at least twice a month. We usually sit downstairs except for special occasions, where we sit upstairs. We made early reservations (5pm) for New Year's Eve. We thought we'd be able to sit next to a window on the ICW side, as all the tables were vacant. We sat in the side room, facing the hotel next door. Empty tables were all around us, until we finished our cocktails and ordered dinner. Then a very LOUD, obnoxious, raucous laughter, group of nine were seated in front of us. It totally ruined a nice evening and found ourselves hurrying to finish our dinner. Our conversation was stopped as we could barely hear each other, even though we sat right next to each other. We still will visit, as that's our favorite place to go. It's a shame that seating wasn't attended to in a more considerate manner.
While the final bill was expensive the food and experience was worth it.
Excellent service great food. We love to come here.
Great service, excellent varied menu
We went upstairs to the restaurant, having booked. The service was good as was the seafood but it was overpriced at $150 for two, starters and mains and two glasses of wine. Even on a Saturday night it was very quiet and half empty. We should have stayed downstairs which was walk up only - a lively bar with very good $10 cocktails and nice looking food though a 45 minute wait
Food was very good, but it should be at that price.
While visiting from PA, we found this outstanding restaurant only 15 minutes from our hotel. The food, staff, and setting were amazing!
Lipstick on glassware, air conditioning dripping on diners, long wait for service, but good food. Too dark.
Came here for a birthday party with a group of 11. Had a great dinner. Food was fantastic and service was top notch.
Great view, great food! Service was outstanding! Seafood was very fresh!
It was a fabulous place to spend my birthday! #swoon
Birthday dinner for my wife. Reservation for 13. Staff was outstanding, food was excellent. They even thought of bringing out a cake for the birthday girl. Thank you!
This is the second time I've been here. This place is always amazing. The food, service and the views are awesome.
Food was ok, over priced and made with heavy sauces for the fish. Clam chowder was very good and so were the drinks.
Terrible! Got the stone claws, definitely pre frozen. Very watery, all stuck to the shell and whoever cracked them for us did an awful job. Restaurant needs a serious update in decor too. Sad to say Will NOT be going back.
Our first visit to 15th St. for my wife's birthday. Food was excellent and the service was very attentive. We will certainly visit again for a special occasion. Price makes it a little expensive for other than a special date.
We ended up sitting downstairs to be near the water, where a lot of tarpons and smaller fish were gathered. Downstairs they serve the same menu from upstairs plus a more casual bar menu. We avoided the heavier fried foods and opted for Bahamian chowder and a skillet. Everything was excellent, especially dessert!
Overall it’s a decent restaurant. I had the sea bass and it was awful and the sides were over done. My friends food was better than mine
In a good spot on the inter coastal/Marina. Cute older place. Large bar with a view and televisions etc downstairs upstairs more subdued restaurant vibe.
Three cocktails tried. Ruby Lemonade yielded a strangely perfumed grapefruit lemonade concoction that was undrinkable. A Don Julio Margarita was strangely flavored and an Orange Mule of sorts that seemed to go down easily for my dining companion.
Burrata appetizer was a little leasing prelude to dinner. And then Diver Scallops over a bed of Luke warm mashed potatoes with three spears of asparagus that were akin to something from a redwood forest cooked within Ian inch of their life. Stringy flavorless and just MEH.
Dessert was amazingly presented and was enough for two people obviously meant to be shared. We weren’t forewarned of the gargantuan sized desserts. They were tasty and enjoyable but clearly too much for one person.
Service was attentive and not intrusive. Many faces came to the table to either deliver or take away. I may never get used to clearing plates while others are still eating. I think it’s rude.
Overall it wasn’t bad. But still wasn’t great either.
We dined at 15th Street Fisheries based on Open Table reviews. We were vacationing in Florida and celebrating a special birthday. We loved both the ambiance and the service. For an appetizer we had shrimp and grits which had a wonderful smoky flavor. For dinner, we split a filet and three pound lobster and it was perfect. The restaurant had a special gingerbread cupcake for the person in our party with a birthday and I had a sundae made with toasted coconut. We enjoyed the drinks as well ---great wine list and Bloody Marys! We would definitely visit 15th Street Fisheries when in the area again.
