15th Street Fisheries Ratings and Reviews
This was a great location. Parking is free. But the prices are out of this world and not worth it at all. I will never go back or recommend this place. Waitstaff was great. Its just the prices. And the food was....boring. For almost $40 for an entree....you would think they would add a little something other than a piece of fish on top of some crappy rice.
I have been to 15 th St Eatery about 8- 10 time, this is my first not so good meal. My Prime Rib had lots of fat in it, and most of it was tough (not a good story for prime rib) about 1/3 of it. Also the green beans were almost raw with no flavor, could not eat. Garlic potatoes were great.
been many times, service from valet to the check in reservations to the wait staff all superb. My favorite appetizer got better: shrimp and grits. Wine was 1/2 price on the tuesday. Nice surprise.
Food dishes went up 10% or so since we were last here, but still good value and really good meal. I will return.
My only issue with 15th street fisheries was parking. I am disabled and when we got to the
restaurant we saw someone park in the disabled parking spot. When he got out we saw he was walking perfectly just like any able bodied person. To me that is wrong.
I think you should be more discretionary about that.
We were seated in back room next to a window but with no view of intracoastal boat traffic, just the side of a large, dark ship. There were two large parties in the room with us and the noise level was far above ‘lively’, it was cacophonous. We could barely hear each other at our small 4 top. We’ve have met our friend here the last four years for dinner when we have traveled to FL and on the other occasions had a wonderful time. We will find somewhere else to meet next time.
We had eaten at this restaurant about 15 years ago & were looking forward to dining there again for dinner. We made an early reservation & were seated near the water as we asked. Our waitress, Alyson, was lovely. She paced the meal well, never rushing us. She made some recommendations & was only too happy to take several pictures of us. Our dinner was excellent. The food was well prepared & the portions were sufficient. I would just want the reader of this review to know this restaurant is very pricey; $40 or more per entrée. For a meal with soup, entrée, glass of wine & dessert it was approximately $175 per couple. We enjoyed the meal & were happy we revisited after all those years.
First and most, the staff was super courteous and professional.
The food was blah. I had the salmon which was nothing out of this world on a bed of bland rice and a sauce that looked like canned soup.
My friend had the shrimp and grits for appetizer, the shrimp were extremely sweet. Gross! He also had the king crab legs which he loved but the side of mashed potatoes was cold and hard. The only delicious part was dessert. Not worth the price for the quality of food.
