The food was wonderful. It is one of our favorite restaurants. Usually we eat in the dining room at the top of the stairs. This time we ate in the room all the way on the other side. We weren’t as thrilled there. Like the other dining room better!
We have Been here before and we thoroughly enjoy the delicious seafood that they serve in the views of the waterways are awesome
Haven’t been here for a while. This experience reminded me why did we stay away for so long. Excellent.
Great experience every time.
Could not hear across the table as it was crowded and louder than we anticipated .
Service was phenomenal.
Food was good but nothing near what was expected for the price. There are many other local establishments that offer higher quality with less expense. Dinner for two was about $130 with 1 glass of wine, no salads or desserts.
Going to try somewhere else next time.
Prime Rib was tasty but a little chewy. Fruit of the Sea was ok but under cooked rice in my opinion.
The downstairs menu was limited but had live music and a friendly atmosphere. The koi pond was nice though small for the large koi but the entrance.
Complimentary valet has great staff and almost no delay waiting for the car.
Birthday was well prepared for from 15th street card and dessert were supplied
GREAT VIEWS, WATER TAXI AVAILABLE, GREAT DRINKS GREAT WINE CHOICES,LIVELY BAR SCENE
The upstairs was closed early, but downstairs where we were seated at was beautiful. We sat right next to the deck and we could see the fishes swimming under the green light. It was a very beautiful and peaceful experience.
The BEST 3lb lobster I have ever eaten!
Wonderful food, service and ambiance. We make an effort to come here when we are on vacation special treat and wait all year to come back the next year. Have been coming for over 10 years. Love it and tell everyone where to go for great food!
Meal was excellent. Perfect South Florida restaurant
Food and service were excellent. I ordered sea bass and was happy I did. My friends also enjoyed their dishes.
The seating location was perfect with a view of the 27th Street Causeway. The service from Marie & Javier was excellent. The specials were discussed as soon as we sat down & any recommendations were also discussed.
& I had selected the King Crab Legs. They were probably the best I have had in a very long time. The crab was very easy to get out of the shell. Thanks so much for pre-opening them. Made the meal all that much more enjoyable.
While I have lived in South Florida for 40 years, this was my first time here. I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner & will return much sooner than 40 years.
The service during the entire dinner was impeccable. Cud’s to both Marie & Javier. Even adjustments were made to the choices which most restaurants will not accommodate. My neighbors who joined us & had been here before were impressed as when they had been there before were not overly happy. This time they were.
Thanks again for a most enjoyable evening!
The restaurant food and service were good. We had a very noisy table next to us. Try not to sit next to a large group as the acoustics were not great.
Beautiful place. Fun atmosphere. Downstairs is not casual while upstairs more fine dining. Upstairs was beautiful and we felt like VIPs. Our waiter, Olivier(French pronunciation) was wonderful. My husband’s sea bass was outstanding but my grouper was a tad dry though tasty. We would go again if in the area! Fish feeding was cool too!
Nourriture correct sans plus pour le prix, nous en somme a notre 3emes visite
The service is always excellent. The grouper is a must try. Save some time after the meal to check out the Tarpon on the back deck.
Unfortunately we went out for a birthday party with seven people and six of us had to return the food because it was not hot. But this was not once it happened 3 times. So needless to say six people did not eat dinner that evening. But management felt that their food was up to standard. My suggestion to you is if you’re looking to for fish find another place.
Brilliant Dining Experience.
Went for dinner on NYE, and it was amazing. We had the Miso Glazed Sea Bass and the Lobster Pasta and both were excellent. Portions are perfect.
We also had a bottle of the proseco and were pleasantly surprised to hear that it was 50% off, that night.
Finally, dining here offers fantastic views of the Fort Lauderdale skyline and intracoastal.
Definitely highly recommend this place.
I should start with saying that most people at the place, except for the desserts' guy and the hostess upstairs were rather annoyed and not nice. We made reservations for NYE in advance, but at arrival we were asked to wait for about 20 minutes, but that was acceptable, however when we finally got to the table, I noticed many tables were empty, so I do not understand the waiting time. The waiter I have celiac disease and asked the waiter if true gluten free options were available, he said that it can be accommodated. I trusted his word, but unfortunately i got 'glutened' that evening, likely because the kitchen is not really gluten free and there us definitely cross contamination. Food was tasty, though, my companion enjoyed it very much.
First time there the food was great! Service was great too. I wish the dinning area was more open with more views of the bay. Otherwise wonderful!
Our dinner for New Yesrs eve was fabulous. Everything was perfect.
Go upstairs for fine dining
New Year’s Eve
For the price point we expected a much better experience. While the food was quite good, the service was not. I had to ask the waiter to take our food order after waiting a very long time for drinks. The food took close to an hour to come out and we were there on the early side- 6:30. We didnt leave the restaurant until after 9:30. Would not recommend with so many other good options in the area.
Took out of town friends to enjoy the view and the food. It wss just as expected including great service. The diver scallops were perfect!
This is a very old school restaurant which I’m used to when I was growing up. With that being said, the hostess who seated us upstairs would barely make eye contact with us. She was very terse and utterly rude. We were put all the way in the side back room away from the fun and festive scenery. What I did notice in the back room is we were seated with other “mixed race” couples. Even our waiter said “this room even gets filled up” during the big boat convention. Dinner was cold and the wrong glass of wine came out the second time. The restaurant was 1/3 of the way full when we were seated. There are plenty of other seafood restaurants to be enjoyed and that’s exactly what I plan on doing in the future.
This restaurant is gorgeous with so much character! The food is absolutely delicious!! I would recommend anyone to give this a try, whether they live in ft lauderdale or are just visiting!! We got 3 different fishes at the table and we all loved them!!
Great time. We had scallops, salmon and fruits of the sea. All were excellent and fresh. View was beautiful. Service was extremely helpful
Fabulous ! Rita and Marie exceptional servers!
first class food and service...staff professional and very friendly.
Wait was outstanding and so were the specials and the food was perfect!
Memorable, but not in a good way. We had planned a family reunion at this restaurant based on the reviews of its food, ambiance and the friendliness of the wait staff. The restaurant has a great location overlooking the intracoastal and the food was actually good. However, the evening was memorable because of one waiter, who systematically insulted virtually all the guests, mixed up orders, forgot important details (like brining a spoon for the soup, not bringing bread, mixing up entree orders and then openly challenging the person who ordered the lobster ravioli special and was told she only ordered lobster pasta). The manager comped the deserts after one of our party complained to her, but she was otherwise invisible. I would never recommend this restaurant.
Celebrating a business event
Outstanding service and great food what more can you ask for? Oh yes about valet Parking for free
Amazing food! The clam chowder, conch chowder and shrimp and grits were excellent appetizers. The fish was equally wonderful. 4 of us at dinner 2 people had the grouper, 1 had the snapper and the other the mahi mahi. The rum ice afterwords was also delicious. To top it all off our server, Brittney, could not have been better...she was outstanding. We will be back! We dinned upstairs on Saturday night but will try the downstairs next time, even though it is more casual.
It was a wonderful place. The staff was kind, the view was great, the food was outstanding. We really enjoyed walking around the dock after our meal. Quite an interesting place.
Out server Brittany was beyond amazing! Her service alone would make me go back. She explained the menu and recommendations perfectly for us. She was personable and very pleasant. The food was just ok and quite overpriced for the portion and quality.
Service was great and so was the food! I had the sea bass and my wife had the grouper - neither of us were disappointed as the food was perfectly seasoned and prepared. We topped off dinner with a couple cocktails and the brownie dessert. First time and definitely will be back next time we’re in town!
