We’ve been dining downstairs for many years and decided to give the upstairs dining room a go. It was most enjoyable, a quieter and more intimate experience with superb service.

Mediocre food at very high prices. Service was very good as well as the view. When you make online reservations it is only for upstairs where you cannot sit outside. Downstairs has an outside deck and a different menu and live music but they said we could not sit there. Not a good value at all because of very high menu prices where the food is just barely of adequate quality.

Everything was excellent except toward the end of our meal the waitress just disappeared. When she returned, she immediately began helping a table of newly arrived guests practically forgetting about us! We finally had to ask for the check. It wasn’t very busy so they lengthy wait maid for a disappointing end.

From the ease of booking the reservation on their web site the night before, the call I recvd the following day to confirm the reservation, the quick valet parking when we arrived and the warm greeting by the lovely hostess who directed us to the table...everything just flowed seamlessly. Our waiter, Brandon, was most attentive and knowledgable--a real professional. My friend had the lobster and I the scallops-- most scrumptious. I had alerted them to the fact it was my out of town friend's birthday and after dinner surprised they surprised her with a small plate of a scoop of ice cream and lovely little pastries into which was inserted a candle-- delicate small bites for 2. A lovely thoughtful touch and just enough (no singing necessary, thank you very much). I would definitely make the trip again from North Broward. A memorable dining experience.

Food was excellent as was the service. Only complaints are the bright lights over the tables and the music. What would have been a hand holding romantic dinner after the sun set on the beautiful marina, became a discussion about ambiance. Dim lighting and romantic mood music is all we needed to complete our evening. We will, however, return to enjoy the improvements.

The food was delicious. The ambiance was nice. The service great in the beginning and went downhill from there towards the end. We were a party of 4 and come to try the CraveGFL prefix menu. We ordered a bottle of wine as well extra sides and desert. When it came time to pay we reviewed the bill and it was incorrect, no problem.. server was nice enough to try and correct while advising her we will split the bill into 4. Server took it upon herself to split it based on what we ordered which was fine but the issue was that we were charged more. For the wine which she also included a 20% gratuity advising us it was automatically included when clearly the menu and receipt advised "gratuity not included" . We asked her to please correct the receipt of the wine which she did..she came back and one of the receipts was the total bill $251 and the rest of the receipts were split into 3 correctly. You have to laugh at this point because not 3 times or maybe 4 in a row. My question was how do you believe or feel you earn 20%, the highest gratuity the receipt has to offer or if the party is less than 6 you are to charge a gratuity? Is this even fair? We usually pay above the minimum always but please allow the customer the opportunity to reward you for service. At that point we forgot about how great the food was and focused more so on all the billing issues and the ending service. Maybe this will be the 2nd and last visit for awhile.

We had a long flight layover in Fort Lauderdale while traveling on vacation. I made reservations to celebrate our anniversary at 15th Street Fisheries. The hostess Ms. Denise could not locate our reservation due to a problem with Open Table, but that did not stop her from being polite and getting us a table upstairs. I told her that we were dining for our anniversary and she congratulated us. We were seated upstairs and our waiter, Chris, came right over. Right on the table was an Anniversary card from the restaurant. I wanted to try the Shrimps and Grits topped with bacon, but making Grits is either a hit or miss so I was very hesitant about ordering it. In the end, I did give it a try. I added a bit of butter and boy was it good. It was so perfect that I’m not sure another restaurant can come close. My husband had the salad with Cracked Conch and that too was good. We both tried the Sea Bass entree and could’ve barely finished our dinner. No room for desert so we took it to go. Before we left, we took in the view of the marina and asked Chris our waiter to take a few photos for us in which he was happy to do. If I’m in the area again, 15th Street Fisheries will be my spot. Thanks!

The staff was very accommodating . The ambiance was simply wonderful. The food was amazing. I ordered the Mahi Mahi and it was outstanding. They served it with fried rice and broccoli as a side. At first I was not sure if that was a good combo but two bites into the plate and I was in heaven. I also ordered a lemon drop martini from the bar. It was also exquisite. One of the most enjoyable meals I have had in quite a while. I would highly recommended this place to anyone who wants fresh local seafood in a relaxed upscale environment. I live out is state and will definitely put this place on my list of must do’s when I return to Ft. Lauderdale for sure!

Celebrating an anniversary. Sat upstairs. Ordered the king crab. In the past, amazing claws. This time they served us the chopped up bodies and half a leg. Sent it back twice. So disappointed. We will go back because we hope this was a one off... but please, don’t charge $75 for a plate of chum.
