This little hidden gem is well worth a try. Right on the water with a very modern decor. The food was delicious and well thought out.
We will definitely recommend and return to this restaurant
The quality of the appetizers and food served at events catered by 1500 South has always been excellent, so when it came time fo make Easter Brunch reservations, 1500 South seemed like an excellent choice. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Not only was the service and buffet top notch, it was a great opportunity to catch up with family. Being able to sit outside only added to the ambience.
Beautiful location, great food and very nice server. Enjoyed the live music and ambiance.
Everything was wonderful except the noise level. We complained but they had an entertainer that was way too loud for the venue
Quiet Monday night but everything was great. Attentive service and delicious dinner
Sorry, I thought there would be a better water view---just docked boats
The food was outrageous - the staff was very attentive - over outstandinga
great restaurant at a very reasonable price. We had the early dinner and everyone loved their food. We are hoping they will change their early dining menu regularly so we can go many more times.
Unless you like loud music, do not go here when they have music. Impossible to carry on a conversation.
Location, decor, food ,background live music, and service staff ...all outstanding
The food was excellent The menu had many good choices. The atmosphere on the water was awesome The staff are very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu
Nice views and service was good. Pasta was overdone and clumped together. Grouper was nice.
Meals was good but would like more choices. Need fried chicken back in the menu.
The staff were accommodating but they forgot about us after most other customers left. We had to wave them down to give us water, dessert menus and finally check. Food was tasty but location isn’t festive. Good if you want a quiet meal.
Great food and great service.
Great location on Naples Bay. You can dine inside or out overlooking the water watching the boats go by. The service and food was excellent! Would highly recommend the salmon and risotto, and don't pass the crème brulee for dessert. Locals and tourists don't miss this fine dining experience in Naples.
The food was very good and the Happy Hour was great.
We had an amazing experience which started with a warm greeting by Ayanda. We sat in a horseshoe booth which felt cozy and romantic. The food was great, the Caesar Salad, the Black Grouper and the key lime pie. Alex our server was both friendly and attentive. There was live easy listening to music which added to the atmosphere. John the manager surprised us with complimentary Champagne for our anniversary. Highly recommend.
This place is a hidden gem, truly so beautiful outside and the food is quality and is just outstanding. The waiter was funny and super helpful with explaining the menu he had a great personality and was a pleasure, the chef came out and checked on us to see if everything was ok, again a very nice man. We are already planning our next dinner.
First time to this restaurant. Loved the setting. We sat outside on the patio area...perfect evening! Lou was our server... he was very attentive and helpful.
Two couples.... two of us had the snapper. We’ve had a lot of snappervthe last few months. I have to say that the piece of snapper as well as the preparation was one of the best we’ve had in the Naples area. Delicate and flavorful....perfection! One person on our party had the black cod and loved it; and another had the short ribs -also a big hit. Regarding drinks - two had the 1500 manhattan and liked them, I had the straw basil martini... also very good. We brought our own bottle of wine which they served for a small uncorking fee.
The chef came to talk with us at the end of the meal and we gave him our rave reviews directly.....we loved it and would have no hesitation recommending or returning. Live music was a plus!
Kudos to 1500 South!
I don’t understand the negative reviews. Went for dinner last night with another couple. It was a perfect evening! Sat outside with a heater nearby. Cocktails were good. Corn chowder was amazing. My husband and I had salmon which was perfectly seasoned and cooked, served with risotto which was yummy! Our friends had grouper which they loved. Will definitely be back.
This was our fifth visit to 1500 South and the food and service has been excellent each time! It is a hidden gem in Naples. The outside tables provide a view of the marina and the inside decor is nothing short of “Manhattan-like”! It is so great to go to a restaurant that has good food, good service and be able to speak with your dining partners.
We can’t wait to go back!
Great service and food
1500 South is a hidden gem. Off the beaten path but so easy to get to off Rte. 41 just past Tin City. They even have valet parking. The service, the food and the drinks are all outstanding. The inside of the restaurant is lovely and their outdoor seating can't be beat.
Terrible food. Terrible service. Will not go back for any reason.
Food was exceptional. Had snapper filet mignon salmon and braised beef. All meals well presented and grits and risotto were great additions. Salad with Apple's and walnuts was enough for two and the staff happily split it. Salted caramel ice cream was the perfect ending to a delicious meal. Definitely one of my best dining experiences in naples. We sat outside on a beautiful evening and received great service.
The restaurant looked rough. The food was overpriced. I ordered avocado toast and it was 2 pieces of wonder bread, avocado sliced on one, tomato and egg on another. Bland, gross, and $16. Never coming back.
Sat outside by water. Had the Grouper and Lemon tagliatelle pasta. Both superb!
Great service, great food
Overpriced mediocre food. Great ambience on water. Server barely spoke English. Restaurant was empty on Saturday night in season.
The food is excellent and the service is wonderful. We ate on the patio and had such a lovely evening. Highly recommend the chicken and the snapper. And the spicy shrimp and grits app is delicious!
Our first experience at 1500, but it will not be our last!!
This was our first time at this restaurant. Here is my option of our visit. It was my wife’s birthday so I thought we would try somewhere different. There was 4 of us and we wanted to sit outside because it was a beautiful night. I made a reservation, asked for outdoor seating and said it was my wife birthday. We arrived at 5 o’clock. The young lady at the desk asked if we had a reservation and I said yes. She looked it up and said there’s 6 of you? No I said 4,she checked the reservation again and said oh okay. She asked if we wanted to sit inside and I said no, we asked for outside, again she checked the reservation and said oh yes. She brought us to a lovely table and there we sat for about 10-15 min without seeing any server, not even water. I got up walked into the restaurant and again the same girl said hello can I help you!!! I said yes some service would be nice. She looked surprised and said okay. There were 3 waiters standing around chatting!!! Where’s the manager??? Does he not see this??? Finally a very nice, sweet girl came over, I believe her name was Nash, not sure, but she was very nice. We ordered appetizers and our meal. The appetizers was crispy calamari, it was beyond crispy, more like overfried, chewy, not good, the salad was very good. We got 2 salmon meals and two pasta dishes. The salmon was good once I salted it, friend didn’t care for it said it was bland. The same for the pasta. Needed salt and a little bland. There was a loooonnng wait after we finished eating. I mentioned to the waitress it was my wife’s birthday and she looked surprises. We ordered a piece of flourless chocolate cake and they brought it singing happy birthday which was nice. I must say it was the best flourless cake she has ever had. So Overall , the food was mediocre, the waiter was sweet and pleasant but the service was slow but the atmosphere was wonderful. Can’t say I would rush back. They need a manager overseeing the staff.
Outdoor speakers a little too loud.
Great entertainment. Great dancing. Food super good
Ambiance, food, service were all perfect, who could ask for anything more? A bonus is the Sinatra era music on Tuesday nights, the entertainer was superb. We'll be back for sure.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated in white and has a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. The noise level is low, so you can easily carry on a conversation and hear each other. The staff is great and the manager, John, is very attentive to his customers. John has made it a point to come over to our table multiple times during the evening to check in with us. That is a very nice touch. The food is delicious. I've had the salmon and would highly recommend it. Other guests with us have had the lamb and steak and thought it was delicious, too. This restaurant is a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it.
Very pleasant live music!!!
As usual our evening at 1500 was wonderful! We had a great dinner and a very pleasant experience! There was music as well which made it even nicer we will go back again.👍
We LOVE 1500 south. The food is amazing and love the live music and even danced this time. Best kept secret in Naples!!
