   Service was great, food was delicious. We arrived before the rush so it wasn't too loud. Our portions were very generous as well.

   They only had localicious set meal, which had limited options. The dessert tasted like it came from a grocery store and overall was not worth the money. I rather have ordered a la carte. Veal sorrentino was super average and dry

   The food was not as flavourful as it normally is possibly due to localiscious menu. I had an arugula salad that lacked flavour in the dressing and the mash potatoes that came with my lamb shank were dry and bland. The lamb shank was lovely. My partner had the seafood pasta which he has everytime he visits and he sta5ed that the flavour was moderate. The atmosphere is really nice. We will return however not during localiscious.

   We went for an anniversary celebration & took advantage of the Localicious menu. The restaurant has been recently renovated & we were in the new part next door. It is very nice. The decor & bathrooms were beautiful. After we were seated we must have waited 15 min before anyone came to even offer us water. Lits if wait staff running around as there were only 3 tables with customers but no one came to us. Finally a pleasant surver Sue came. Water was tap nit cold & no ice. When we finally ordered it again took a long time for the food to come. It seemed again that the kitchen & staff were very disorganized. The food was OK however by the time I got mine the chicken parm was cold & I had to send it back go be warmed up. My partner loved his salmon!! After we finished our main course again it must have taken a good 30 to 40 min to get dessert. I don't really blame the wait staff it seems it was more of an ussue in the kitchen If the kitchen was better organized & food preparation was quicker, it would have been a much better experience. Dinner shouldn't have to take over 3hrs to be served & completed. The Mabagement never came by to check in with us to offer any oplogies for me having to return my dinner as the chicken was cold or the fact that the most if the evening we were just sitting waiting!!!

   We enjoyed our evening at 147 for our anniversary. Food was great but I found the price (especially for the alcoholic beverages) to be a little steep. Usually when you are celebrating something (and the restaurant asks if you are celebrating something) they include something. A free dessert or a beverage. We didn’t get anything except for a “happy anniversary”. I did request a waterfront view and we got a street view. Either way, I would return but maybe I’ll just ask for tap water only.

   As usual food was good and portions large. My husband and I were unfortunately seated at the back of the restaurant between 2tables of 4 with little room in between. Our server offered to move us as it looked like a table of 4 were soon to leave( their dinner complete ) and leftovers boxed. Unfortunately this didn’t happen as they didn’t leave as hoped so we remained at our original table. Our server( i don’t know her name) was very nice. I realize that restaurants want to fit as many tables in as possible but I believe they should also consider the experience of the diner.

    Went for Localicious and was very excited to try this restaurant out. Service was good, but slow (place was very busy on a Saturday night). Free bread was good, Arancini was great, Cocktail was mid, but the mains were disappointing. The Seafood Linguini had a laughable amount of pasta on the plate. Like definitely over a pound. Same with the Chicken Parmesan. More food is usually good, but it was pretty ridiculous to see mountains of food on each persons plate. The tiramisu came out frozen and the Chocolate Cake was really bad. If I left after the appetizer it would have been a much better experience. With this experience, I don’t think I’ll be back for a while.

    We have been to 147 numerous times and have never been disappointed. We were there for my birthday and the service was excellent, food was amazing and an overall enjoyable evening. Local Licious is currently on and it was great value!

    We went for the Locallicious menu and it was lovely! The arancini were made fresh and the salads were tasty. The veal w eggplant was tender. The portions were very large so we got to take the leftovers home. The fudge chocolate cake lived up to its name. Will definitely go back.

    Our reservation was rather early, however we were very impressed with the service from the staff as well as the quality of the food. Would and will highly recommend 147 to all our friends as it is a great venue for the Barrie waterfront.

    Valintines day Took my Grandmother out for dinner and we loved it. Food portions were huge and everything went so well and complemented each thing. Amazing service and loved the people they were so welcoming

    Great little Italian restaurant in downtown Barrie. Service, ambiance and food were all great. Espresso/cappuccino were disappointing but everything else was amazing. So glad we tried it.

    147 has the best Italian home style meals in Barrie. Rick and his kitchen staff keep knocking it out of the park. Colleen and her crew do a superb job of making guests feel right at home. So good.

    Food and wait time was great as per usual. We had a waiter named Tony that was absolutely incredible. We came at the busiest time of the day/week and he was still able to juggle the stress very well and do an amazing job. Great experience like always. Would recommend

    Amazing place. Great Food, ambiance, not too noisy even though it was full, had dinner ( and great conversation) until 11 pm so 5 hrs and it was lovely. No pressure from our server continuous service and checking up on us Perfect Evening

    Somehow I was able to book a reservation online but when we got there, the restaurant was completely closed. I even got a confirmation text the day of. I have no idea what’s going on but we were very disappointed because it was a birthday dinner.
