    I don’t usually give reviews but I think this might be some constructive criticism for the restaurant. 1- we were having dinner at around 6:20 pm when beer kegs were being delivered through the center of the dinning room. The delivery was noisy and distracting never mind ruined the ambiance. 2- I ordered the lobster linguini, I received spaghetti instead of linguini and 2 half lobster pieces on top. I had assumed the lobster would have been de- shelled and mixed with the pasta. I assumed wrong and ended up trying to fish out the meet with a provided pair of sissies. Made a mess of the table and clothes. I think a warning would have been prudent.

    Very disappointed in the Caesar salad being presented wedge style. Prefer the old menu when it was chopped. Otherwise all good. New menu options are awesome.

    This was my second time visiting the restaurant. Unfortunately, my first experience left a bad impression — the service was slow, and it took over an hour to receive our mains. When we brought this up, the owner explained they were hosting a large event. While I understand things can get busy, I don’t believe that should impact the dining experience of other guests. If the kitchen can’t keep up, perhaps large events shouldn’t be booked at the expense of regular service. On my second visit, the waitress was much better and very attentive, and the portion sizes were generous. However, I ended up not eating my pasta because it was overly salty — which was disappointing. Overall, while there were some positives, the inconsistencies in quality and my overall experience mean I likely won’t be returning

    While working in Barrie we tried out 147 and it was a great choice. It was a great restaurant. We got seated quickly. The atmosphere was great. The food was incredible. The waiter Tony was top notch! I recommend trying this place. You will not be disappointed.
