Food was great and staff were friendly!!
It was a great experience! So many restaurants are so loud and we needed a nice place with great food but also quiet and calming. It was so pleasant.
Food was excellent and waitress was very attentive! Perfect birthday dinner
Service excellent, very quiet, food was a little greasy but still very good, well priced. Will be back
The service was fantastic and the food was satisfying! Would not change a thing!
We come here often and it is consistently good. Service is excellent, specials are always great.
Went there for my husbands Birthday and from the time we walked in til leaving the service was excellent. The food was cooked to perfection, the appetizers and the desserts were awesome! Got to meet the chef and we let him know everything was excellent. We will be eating there again.
Wonderful food, heart-felt service and nice atmosphere. Extensive wine list.
Excellent salmon and steak. Great staff. Enjoyed our evening.
Everything was wonderful as always. Service and food was fantastic.
Loved the burrata, truffle fries and cheeseboard appetizers! I had the coconut crusted salmon special and it was pretty blah. Wished it had more flavor and definitely If anything it needed salt. My sister in law had the filet and that was excellent! Andrew was an awesome waiter. Will definitely be back!
Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Allergies were clearly listed with enough options for my husband and me who are GF. The menu offered multiple price points and a variety of options.
This restaurant is fantastic. Nick and Alli took great care of us. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
The menu has changed and what you receive is not what is on the menu. Some guests at our table received their salmon raw and cold items on the plate, my nephews "buttered noodles" were brown buttered and fried-odd choice for a kids dish, my hsuabdn ordered the cast iron chicken which the menu said was a breast but a thigh and leg came, his risotto was hard and uncooked. There is not liquor license, the whole experience was terrible and I would never go back.
We used to love this place but they have made numerous changes that are not desirable. Food is alright but spendy and several of our favorite dishes are longer available and no longer a full bar. Most likely won't go back, sadly.
The food was good but our waitress was exceptional
New Year’s Eve. Staff was very accommodating !
Christmas time with the family
I would recommend 14 North, but our experience was less than stellar. Our waiter was very good. He was attentive and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, one in our party ordered the Butternut Squash Tortellini and the kitchen ran out. Our order was placed in plenty of time. but we weren't informed that there was no more until the other dishes were ready to be served. One in our party is gluten free and his sides were not the ones he ordered. He had to wait for a single plate of vegetables. The waiter apologized and comped a round of drinks for us. He hoped we would give 14 North another try. We probably will do that, but the kitchen needs to get its act together!
Waitress was great, food was less than mediocre. We usually have Christmas Eve dinner here and it is always a good experience but the food was just not great at all. Ordered a medium rare steak and it came out well done......other steaks were served cold and mashed potatoes were cold. Asked to get kids dinner sooner than later which was only pasta and it was the last order out. We had ordered appetizers before meal too but that wasn’t enough of a snack for our little one. He was over hungry and tired by the time he got his pasta and then didn’t want to eat.
The best filet we have ever had! But servise was slow (understand it was Christmas Eve so understandable). We felt the menu was limited but certainly loved our steaks!
Food was not gastropub type or quality
Was our first time ever coming on. I have heard good reviews in the past, so I thought I'd try it out. Was very underwhelmed by the menu, shocked by some of the prices on certain menu items, and the tables and chair seemed rather worn and dated. Our server was very kind and very accommodating, but then again, we were literally the only people in there. When we received our food, I was disappointed by how much food was actually on the plate for paying $25. I got the baseball cut steak with mashed potatoes and bourbon glaze. The bourbon glaze was awful, and the steak was very tough, despite being cooked medium rare. My girlfriend got the meatloaf. She said all she could taste was tomato. And paying $26 for a meat loaf in my opinion is a little high compared to other restaurants in town. Our bill was $50, and for that price, I wont be coming back. I'd rather take my $50 to Ale works, who despite a small menu, their quality, taste, and service is MUCH better! Like I said before, our entire experience, with the exception of our server, was very underwhelming.
Took our grandson on his recommendation. The service was impeccable, the food fabulous and the atmosphere was great. I will definitely return on a future visit to Bozeman
Food was incredibly lack luster and absolutely not worth the price. My mom and I had the most gummy pasta I have ever tasted and all my scallops contained the hard side muscle- that should be removed, as its basic knowledge for scallops. And the pesto tasted of store bought. For $28 a dish I expect that pesto to be full of flavor and house made. My sisters chowder had a majority of closed clams. If we had more time, would have sent everything back to the kitchen and gone elsewhere to spend over $100.
Maybe the best scallop dish I've ever had!
Have eaten here a couple of times. One of the best drink menus in Bozeman and a menu with lots of options, so everyone in our party had a variety to choose from.
We were somewhat disappointed. Everything we ordered sounded so wonderful, but it all needed seasoning. Overall, an underwhelming meal.
Apparently there was a party upstairs that slowed down our wait time. The waitress was great under pressure. She comped a round of drinks. Food took over an hour and there were many open tables. When we got our food it was COLD. Not likely to go back and ur was our first time there
Ambiance and food quality outstanding. Our server, Sabrina, was absolutely excellent: friendly and very knowledgeable
Excellent food well presented. I’ll return.
We were from out of town and very pretty disappointed to say the least. The halibut was overcooked the first time and when it came back out a second time it was no better. The risotto was cold on three plates. Very disappointed to spend all that money and end up at stopping by the grocery store looking for something to eat.
We were informed that the dinner service might be 10-15 minutes longer than average due to staff shortages in the kitchen. The meal took 1 hour 45 minutes to arrive. This was beyond reasonable. Our wait person did offer 2 glasses of wine for free as a result. The food was decent but nothing is worth that long of a wait. This was a disappointing end to a weekend in Bozeman. We were hoping for a nice family outing with our son and it just got frustrating. You can do better.
This was our 3rd time here. We did not have the best experience the first 2 times but decided to give it another try since it had been a couple years. We each ordered somewhat pricey sirloin steaks for our meal. The meat itself was ok, but whoever prepared it slathered what tasted like sweet bbq sauce all over it along with the mashed potatoes. I would expect that kind of preparation from our teenage son, but not a restaurant. We both could not even eat the steak, and we are not THAT picky. I don’t think we will be eating there again.
Rory, the bartender and also our server was wonderful! Made feel like he’d known us forever!!
Hostess and waitstaff were very friendly and good. However, the restaurant seems to be in a state of being in business or not. They were out of 3 of the 4 things we requested. Ranging from drinks to main courses. It was strange. The ambiance is strange too. It’s like it was a bank lobby or country club that placed tables along the walls. I am in my 50’s and usually do not post negative reviews because what’s the point? However, there was just a strange vibe here. It must be poor management. The food that did arrive was just ok. I wish them well but I will not be back.
The service was very slow and not friendly. They were also out of hamburgers but didn’t mention that until we tried to order them. We wish we would have chosen another place for dinner.
First, we really appreciated the quietness. Perfect for intimate evening for folks who don't hear well. Rachel is an excellent waitress, and everything was lovely. Good wine - we split a house salad, expecting a "house salad" like you get other places. It was delicious and large! You were out of the lamb and gnocchi, so I got the baseball steak, which was perfectly cooked. My husband got the king salmon, and it, too, was perfect, with a light crunchy layer on the bottom - delicious! We celebrated my birthday there, and will think of other things to celebrate soon. Thank you!
Since we had a reservation, I would expect that our table would have been set for 6, not 4. We requested more place aettings then had to ask for more menus. Slow service even though we were one of the first tables sat for the evening. Had to take our bill up front to pay because waitstaff did not pick up. We were not in a hurry, but we were there there for three hours which was longer than expected. That being said, the food was good.
14 North is a wonderful restaurant. Seemed the food took a while to come out but we all had a great time visiting while we were waiting. Server was very attentive. Atmosphere was great.
