PLace itself had a nice feel. My biggest complaint is with my wine. I ordered a bottle of good wine. which was amazing. However, on my second pour, the waiter poured the wine into my water glass... about half a glass of wine. There was no effort in trying to replace the watered-down wine...he just removed the water glass, continued to fill my actual wine glass, and left, returning with a new water glass. i estimated he had waisted $25.00 in wine with no discount or offer of any kind. That really ticked me off. Not to mention, my 20oz rib eye was over cooked.

Not what we expected. All the aging fridges were empty. One of the menus we received was dirty as well as printed with different format styles. My husband’s was double spaced with a few more descriptions. I thought this place was known for meats from specific sources locations. The only thing I spotted was the Yellowstone burger. Also, the waiter keep getting irritated because his coworker would ask us and other tables if we would like another round of drinks. Our waiter told us must order from him directly. I think the coworker could sense we were getting upset because he brought us and another table a shot which was very nice. Overall, the website and IG did not match our experience unfortunately.

They changed their menu. We wanted to order the duck3X, but it wasn't on the new menu. We made reservations just to try the duck. Their new menu was quite small. I was a bit disappointed. I don't think we'll be returning to dine at this restaurant anymore.

Not worth the money spent. Prices are of a high star steakhouse and low star value. Steak was undercooked and precut. Signature drinks were below average. People were nice but again not worth the value. The very limited menu was listed on a blank white paper. I'd much rather spend the same money at a well established steakhouse much as in the local casinos. They need some work before they charge those kinds of prices.

The best way to describe this restaurant and our experience was disappointing. They get great online reviews and we had heard good things from friends. We checked out the menu on their website before we went and there were a number of interesting items that influenced our decision to go. When we showed up, the menu was a significantly reduced version of what was on their site, and of course, none of the items we were interested were available on their current menu. The wine list was unimaginative and they were revamping their wine list so nothing was available by the bottle. We settled on a steak to split, salad and the broccolini side dish. We were thinking about ordering another side, but I’m sure glad we didn’t. The steak, which was a 16 oz NY strip, was actually well cooked to a medium rare. However, about 3 oz of our steak was fat, which made that end inedible. It was also woefully underseasoned. The broccolini, which was potentially flavorful, came out cold on a cold dish. We got a replacement, which was warm, but soon became cold because it was also placed on a cold dish. We ordered the wedge salad and asked for it chopped, but with just a small glob of dressing dumped in the middle. Service was mediocre at best. Our waiter was inattentive and he wasn’t even the one we told about the broccolini because he wasn’t around. We had to pull another waiter to deal with that issue. Even after the issue, he never showed back up until much later and provided a relatively insincere sorry about the cold side dish. The plates were dusty and our share plates left a black ring on the white table cloth. I wish I would have known that before I ate off of it because they brought them out stacked on one another. Only one steak knife was provided even though they knew we were both eating the steak. I know some of this sounds knit-picky, but when you’re paying these types of prices for a meal at a white table cloth restaurant, these are the details that matter.

We went on Saturday night when a large swath of Henderson lost power. So this restaurant got slammed that night and that probably contributed to an average dining experience at best. It took a long time to get acknowledged and seated. They were out of several items on the menu. The Caesar salad included a sardine paste that made it too fishy to eat. It should be on the side or mentioned in the menu. We sent it back. Unfortunately nothing really stood out as exceptional. And the staff seemed worn out from such a busy night. Would like to go back on a normal night to try it again. Henderson needs good places to eat so I want 138 to succeed.

This is the first time to 138. We are already planning to go back. From the grilled Caesar to the duck and branzino and lemon tart everything was excellent. I love that it is only minutes from our house!

This is a great new restaurant in Henderson. Beautiful decor, and nice finishes. Great attention to the quality of the food and preparation. The sliders were amazing, as was the salmon. We will be going back!

We had brunch on Sunday and it was our first encounter at this restaurant. The server was very friendly with a good demeanor. We had the meatball appetizer that was spicy, but with great flavor. We had the Wagu steak and eggs that was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. In addition, I had a classic cheeseburger that was more medium well than medium rare, but was lean and tasted great. I also ordered a couple of Papusas to try and they were fantastic!! Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely go back again.

Fantastic food; one of the best steaks I've had. The waiter gave great recommendations. There were a few obnoxious clients there, loud drunks. They definitely took away from the experience. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we were there, but drinks weren't refilled very quickly.

Second time visiting…. Food was fantastic again, but service was “eh” this time. A server may have called in, but I had to ask numerous times and people for things that should have been on the table. Quite a few menu items were not available for one reason or another. Hopefully just an off night. Location is very convenient and the food was quite good.

First time to this place - honestly didn't even realize it was at this location. Waiter (Bill) was amazing - super outgoing, knowledgeable, efficient. Had mimosas, the breakfast tacos, side of breakfast potatoes and the pupusas. All were very delicious!! Need to go back to try dinner options.

There are so very few fine dining options in Henderson that are not located in a casino. I would recommend before people pay casino up charges for average food they try 138. Dry Aged steaks were amazing!

The wonton appetizer was delicious, the 6oz Filet, cooked at 138 degrees was perfect(if you want blood on the plate then be specific), and the spinach, green beans, and the fries were wonderful. Music needs to be slightly softer

We've eaten here a few times and it was a very good local steak house. Our most recent visit was a night and day difference, and we were quite disappointed. The service was slow and the table was cluttered with previous dishes each time they would bring something new. Our orders came out wrong or cold; the food itself was unimpressive and not worth the wait or the price. The shining star was the maitre d (maybe the restaurant manager?) who is always warm and hospitable.

Filets that were ordered medium were cooked to rare medium and were chewy. Strip steak had a lot of fat and grissle at the top. Strip was flavorfull. Service was fair. Waiter needs to spend less time chatting with one able and service the others. order for bread and second drinks had to be asked twice on the status.

Our first visit was a great experience main courses include steak ribs fish & duck )one of the best I’ve had)all prepared wonderfully We shared a cheese cake dessert that a perfect ending. The only negative was my Caesar’s salad grilled lettuce with a paste like dressing that was very strong with an over powering anchovy flavor. We recommend this restaurant and will go back but skip the salad.

We decided to choose something off strip in a quiet area for our 17th wedding anniversary. What a wonderful surprise! The staff was fabulous, the food was tasty and we celebrated a wonderful night out!!!

Nice ambience and cocktail list. Our waitress wasn't the most attentive, but David checked on us multiple times and was really great. I thought the food was just ok. I had the branzino, which wasn't great - the rice, vegetables and fish did not have any flavor apart from the char of the fire. My husband had the swordfish, which was good. The Brussel sprouts were good. The mushrooms were bland. Overall, a little disappointed in the food, but would give it a try again.

William greeted us when came in. We were able to sit where we wanted as it was early. We ordered drinks which were good. We had three servers which was nice as there was always someone available. My husband ordered an age dried steak which was somewhat pricey but when it came it was not tender so they replaced it very nicely with a filet which was very tender and good. I had sea bass which was just okay. Overall we had a good experience especially with the service. The food we got was pricey but okay. I will try the chicken next time and my husband will get the filet again.

Awesome experience at 138. Host Gene was friendly and inviting. I sat at the bar and was taken care of by Guillermo. He made sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Ordered a ribeye medallion and it was cooked to perfection. I love that they tell you exactly where the meats are sourced from and only use small farms. The chef even came out to see how my meal was. Absolutely incredible experience. Already booked a return visit!
