Place never disappoints. Food was so good, wanted to sample more. Always get too much. This is our family favorite place. My son does not allow my wife and I to go unless he is going also. Love the new menu items, miss some of the old. Please don't ever take the curried Cauliflower off the menu, we always get some of that. Thanks for always serving up great food.

Not to any of my big friends due to the baby size portions and the price, but the food tasted very good, very flavorful.

Small place with only a few tables. Food was very tasty and well presented. Servers were pleasant and attentive. The mushroom risotto was fabulous as was the hummus and the garlic shrimp. Our party of 4 shared 8 plates and all left well satisfied. The Lemon Bread Pudding was a real treat. Only downside is that the small place can be very noisy.

Our meal (as always) was amazing. From beginning to end. Brought another couple with us. Shared about 9 different plates (not including the dessert). Each one was better than the last. If you go (and you should) risotto is 2nd to none. Love the meatballs. Beef skewers were a favorite this time, as well. Haven't tried anything here that I didn't like/love.

13 Gypsies never disappoints. We dined for lunch on this visit, so we opted to share a few small items. We had the house cured beef and bread. I always get this everytime I visit, and its usually a little different every time. On this visit, it was a dry aged beef that had some spicy seasoning on the outside. We shared the crimini mushroom tapas, very garlicky, and the mushrooms had a substantial feel to them. Tortelinni with boursin cheese, and a light-ish tomato sauce. Very apparent the pasta is made fresh in house, as it actually tasted like something. Finished with the Tres Leches. This was my first experience with this dessert. It was surprising light, 3 layers of cream, and plenty to share.

This is one of the best places in the city. The food is superb. Try the Roman style gnocchi or the criminology mushrooms. The garlic shrimp were delicious, too. Nice service. A+

13 Gypsies is one of my favorite restaurants in Jacksonville. I appreciate the artisanal quality of the food, richness of flavors, the attention to detail to have a cohesive and interesting menu, and the wine selection. Most of all, I love this place because it brings me back to the feeling like I am in an intimate family owned restaurant in Spain, Italy, or even Argentina. It is not pretentious but full of soul and extraordinary.

Heard nothing but good things about the food, so we had to check it out. It was epic! The food was fantastic, the variety was divine, the service was perfect. We had the Brussels sprouts, chorizo and pears and the Boursin stuffed sweet peppers, with a bottle of Tempranillo. Bravo!!

One of the nicest places to eat in Jacksonville.
Great food - fun, interesting and varied flavors. Great cured meats. Possibly the best Tres Leches in 200 miles.
Informal laid back ambience.
Nice people.
Music a tad loud for my aging ears

Dined at 13 Gypsies as a belated birthday celebration. Table of two. Andrew was extremely helpful in making menu suggestions and the wine pairing with each course we chose. The food was creative and amazing! The risotto of the day was amazing! Andrew was attentive ... perfect dining experience. Job well done!

The food was good. The noise level at lunch was not good. I had to ask the waitperson to repeat themselves more than once. If you like loud Pearl Jam and good but overpriced tapas this is your place. The Brown Sugar Haddock was $14.00 and the size of a deck of cards. Not my idea of shareable and I am a light eater.

13 Gypsies always knocks it out of the park! The atmosphere is terrific, a diamond in the rough! The music is always great, the staff is always friendly and accommodating, and also knowledgeable of their courses and selections. I’ve never had a bad meal here—quite the opposite: I always have the best meals when I’ve dined here! If I could change anything, it would be to have a second stomach so I could eat two of everything! Mushroom Sevilla is my favorite dish, but they do everything so well, you really can’t go wrong! Their risotto is also always amazing. Literally everything on the menu is out of this world. You must go here!!

This is my second visit within a month. It's hands-down the best tapas restaurant in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. The menu is eclectic, imaginative and wildly delicious. I've had two different types of their specialty risotto and it has all but demoralized me from attempting to make it at home ever again. It's vegetarian, gluten and carnivore friendly, and the decor reminds me of a hip, local joint that only the people in the neighborhood know about. Definitely recommend having lunch or dinner at this establishment.

Always wonderful - when I go, I always get the risotto of the day and the roman gnocchi - delicious. We also tried the pork and beef meatballs and they were really yummy. Must top it off with a piece of tres leches cake - (a large piece is usually gone in seconds when shared).

The food here is beyond amazing. However, the portions are really only meant for 2 and you pay more than you should for the portion size. There is only 1 server so depending on how demanding each table is, you may not got the quickest service. The kitchen is great. They keep the plates coming out quick. Reservations are a MUST since this place sits 16 with 4 spots at the bar. Beer and wine, our white wine was warm but we aren’t too picky. We will go back for sure but for more of a special occasion.

Visited this restaurant for our wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. Such an eclectic and intimate place to have dinner. There are only 7 tables + bar seating so reservations are definitely recommended. The food was amazing...the tapas dishes they offer are all very unique, colorful and imaginative. The risotto was the best I've ever had, hands down. Definitely excited to visit here again!
