   This place was amazing all around! From the kind waitress, great bartender, and awesome cooks. The place was a little empty when we went which made for a peaceful meal and we got some great service, cups never empty and food came out fast. The food was also delicious, no one had any complaints about anything. Really chill vibe, great drinks and food, and they sell fresh bread!? what more could you ask for!

   The food was delicious. The service was incredible. And the price was absolutely reasonable. Can’t wait to go back.

   Adam was our server and he’s was great. The food here is always great and fresh. Breakfast a dinner you can’t go wrong. The bucatini was so so good must have for dinner The burger on the brunch menu is also a must try!

   Dinner was delicious! The ginger chicken salad is a must, will for sure get this again. The Jidori chicken was so juicy and flavorful. The spaghetti amazing. We tried the porterhouse special, it came with caviar! It was awesome. We loved everything. The service was excellent.

   We frequent a lot of places in the Arts District, but first time to 1228. It was outstanding and we will add to our "dining rotation". Main menu is small, but the shareable/app menu was excellent.

    Surprised for it to be relatively empty on a Friday evening. Overall the service was slow although it was only us and one other table. The steaks were a bit overcooked and the french fries were ok for the steak frites. The scallops were relatively small for diver scallops but well cooked, the risotto tasted a bit packaged. Not sure if we’d come back for dinner, have been here for the brunch before and better food and atmosphere.
