The staff is always friendly and responsive. Pleasant atmosphere with live instrumental music during dinner hours. The brisket is always tender and delicious. The special gnocchi was OUTSTANDING! This should be a regular menu item. Will definitely be back!
very clean and tables well spaced out- live music with masked musicians
Our food was so delicious that I am craving it as I type. Roasted brussel sprouts, porcini mushroom soup, buffalo chicken pizza- YUM! Our server was a delightful young woman named Lily. She kept us very happy during our meal. Walked across the street to dance under the 118 North tent after dinner. What a fun, fun night!
Excellent food, service and live music !
The owner was super accommodating. Told him we had a show to get to and he was more than understanding. He actually forgot to put something in on our ticket and wound up comping our drinks because of it. Wasn't necessary but much appreciated. Would definitely recommend and we will absolutely be back.
Hi. We love 118 North. Our server, Lilly, was very good, efficient and friendly. The food was also great! The live music is good, but you have to be near the stage to appreciate it as the bar/restaurant area is loud.
Fantastic service from Lilly! Great music centric atmosphere with gastro pub food. Fantastic fun in Wayne PA. I would call this venue small in a great way too
Food and service were great. We shared a collection of apps at the table and our daughter had a great kids meal. Will go back again.
I was blown away by 118 North. I have to say this was one of the best overall meals I've had in awhile! If you are a fan of southern food the hot chicken was absolutely spectacular, some of the best I've ever had!
This was our first time here for dinner. The staff is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, especially the shrimp Mardi Gras special. The beer was cold and there was a nice selection. Looks like a great place for live music! We will be back.
Our server, Lily gave us outstanding service! Your fish tacos were delicious too!
We were greeted by the manager and treated very well throughout the evening. The live music was played through a very unintrusive sound system that allows you to enjoy your dining and the music without feeling distracted. The food was absolutely fantastic, top-notch! The manager came to our table multiple times to make sure we were having a good experience. We would definitely recommend 118 North to our friends and will be back soon.
Valentine’s evening was our first experience at this establishment and we really enjoyed our evening. Our reserved table was ready for us on schedule, the service was prompt, informative and cheerful, and the food was exceptional. We will definitely return.
The appetizers were excellent as was the service. But the house burgers were a big disappointment!
This was our first time at 118 North. It’s a very narrow space. There was a guitarist playing in the front with many small children dancing (this was 6:30pm on Friday so I think it was the end of happy hour). The bar is along the left wall. There’s high top seating in the middle aisle and regular tables along the right side wall. It’s very tight in between tables and difficult to walk especially with all the coats hanging off chairs. I applaud the servers and bussers who have to navigate through the people and tables. There’s a large stage in the back but we didn’t go in that direction. Our server Andriana was ok in the beginning greeting us and giving us menu suggestions. As the dinner progressed I think she became overwhelmed because she really didn’t check in and we had to wave her over to get her attention. The table next to us seemed even more frustrated. They ordered dessert but it took so long that they just left after finally being able to settle their check. At her suggestion, we tried the Hot Chicken and the Pork Mac and cheese. The chicken was large enough to share and really delicious. It definitely had a spicy kick and I would order it again. The Pork Mac and cheese was also very good. We didn’t order any appetizers or dessert this time yet it took well over an hour because the service was slow. Luckily we weren’t starving when we arrived and we weren’t in a hurry. The kids dancing to the guitarist was a pleasant distraction while we waited. Because the tables are so close and it’s noisy, it’s not the ideal place for a date or to discuss anything you don’t want everyone else to hear. Parking is on the street or the township lots. Andriana said it was Diet Coke but the check just lists it as soda so I’m not convinced they serve Coke products.
Great place! Will be back soon!
Kind of pricey for what you get. The food was ok but not worth the price. I factored the "main line" location into the price
Food and service were very good. We saw the band Trevor Street Band. They were great. This was the first time we heard the band. We will definitely come back to see them again.
Mike the gm is great . He remembered us from ripple wood. The food is just as good as ripple wood and would say to anyone who likes ripple wood to try 118 north you will not be let down
Our meal and service was good. We had a larger party of 7 people. They sat us at a high top table which was very unstable and swayed back and forth. Was not a pleasant way to eat our meal. I think they need to fix their table for future customers.
We were all very impressed by 118 N. Wayne. With the exception of one item, everything we ordered was exceptional! The service was knowledgeable and friendly; our waitress handled our dislike of the one item perfectly. We are looking forward to returning often!!
We ordered seven appetizers for four people. All were amazing and the perfect amount of food. Some of the best food we’ve had in awhile and the band (Billy Walton Band) that we went to see made the whole night exceptional!
Amazing food! We really enjoyed our experience there!
Great service, food and entertainment. Fun night out!
118 North has changed up the menu and the food is delicious! The service is greatly improved! We had a great night.
Fun place to dine and watch a good band
Great atmosphere....new menu is great ....food was delicious!
Great food!! Pleasantly surprised. When I walked in it looked just like the place it was before...but it definitely is not that!! Very good / will be back!
First of all, 4 stars mainly based on the food as well as the lovely hostess who was able to accommodate our last minute request. We came to have dinner before the featured show there—food was very good, drinks were good as well, but the service was a little uneven. On a busy night such as when we went, another server or two would have improved the experience—I felt we had to wait longer than usual for drinks and food primarily because it appeared that our server was the only one handling the entire dining area. Also, it seemed a little odd that in addition to the cost of the meal, we were required to pay a cover for the band. But all in all, a generally good experience, very good food at a good price, and a fun evening!
Food was delicious! Service was impeccable! The venue for a small concert was wonderful!
We were there at 4:00 when it opened so the noise was low. It slowy built as people came in but was never so loud that you could not easily hear. Food was great.
Call me if you
I was here once before, the food is very good, I was meeting friends from Kennett Square, we wanted to go to Avalon in Bryn Mawr, but no go, so I made reservations based on my past experience with the food. The food was good, but the service was horrific! I was seated for 10 minutes before anyone came over, our table was in the back, so they appeared very anxious to get us out of there before the band started, they attempted to take food away before I was finished. Most importantly, the entrees did not come out together, it is ok for shareables, or tapas to arrive at the table as they are prepared, but there was no sharing. I had my meal first, 10 minutes later one entree came out and then 5 minutes later the 2nd entree cam out which was the same order. The server's comment was inappropriate regarding "coming out as they are prepared" since each of us had our own entree and there was no sharing. This is not a tapas joint! Wayne world is not one of my favs, as the city is still the place to go for the best food options. I am sure as this a music venue, they will do very well, but don't sit people in the back that are not there to see the band, that are there for meeting and conversation.
Great evening in Radnor! Had a good meal and a nice glass of wine. The table spacing was a little tight and my companion’s chair kept getting hit or kicked as people went by. The server had several tables and was quite busy!
Great food.
Great time and venue to see music
Enjoyed Lennon Luve
Great vibe and fantastic food!
Good and service was good. The restaurant portion is relatively small and we were seated on the (not in use) dance floor area and had to relocate when the music started. Not a bad thing at all and the music was great, but make sure you know when the entertainment starts before you go as the mouse level will increase accordingly.
Went to see Atlas Gray, wish we had time to eat dinner before the show. Next time!
118 North has a new menu/chef which I found to be outstanding. Their is excellent variety and unique choices that both my wife and I enjoyed very much. The mushroom flat bread was excellent. We highly recommend:)
