   We visitedduring Dubai Restaurant Week and were disappointed to find that it was distinctly average and not what we would have considered Michelin star-worthy. We both chose the rib-eye Angus and it came drowning in a strange tasting peppercorn sauce. I’ve never had my steak turn up in a bath of sauce - it’s always on the side. Not only should the steak be the star of the show, but we determined it must be in so much sauce to hide the fact that it wasn’t particularly flavourful. The dessert was ok but not what as described on the menu: the menu said it was chocolate, Tonka ice cream and nuts. What arrived was a mashed banana dish with cream and nuts on the side and chocolate on top. Would have appreciated knowing there was banana in it, as I would have chosen a different dessert. The starters were the best bit, which is a shame that 2/3 dishes on the set menu weren’t up to scratch. Wouldn’t go back: far too overpriced for what you get, and glad we opted to try it during Dubai Restaurant Week when it was more reasonably priced. I’d have been furious if I paid the outrageous prices on the menu for what we got!

   We had a great experience all the dishes from starters to desserts were so good! Definitely deserves its michelin star!

   I recently dined at woodfire and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. The ambiance was impeccable, setting the perfect tone for a memorable meal. Every dish we tried was exceptional, with flavors that truly stood out. The service was equally outstanding; Rita was particularly helpful and professional, enhancing our dining experience. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant and trying their menu, especially the bone marrow—it was a standout!

   Expectations were high from Micheline star restaurant but there was no WOW effect, neither from food nor service

   Quite undewhelming experience with summer festival menu. Small portions, simple presentation. Even a small order that included their signature cocktail they couldn’t get right, forgot about the cocktail and didn’t bring it at all till the end of the meal. Ambience is nice. Would not go again.

   Lovely place and good food. However a bad experience given that I had booked for the Summer Restaurant Week only to find out that the set menu would mean ‘smaller’ servings and ordering from the A la Carte menu (which we did) cost the same for much more by way of servings and choice. Tbh it’s the server who gave us this heads up, when asked as we suspected it on seeing the menu. I don’t see the point in restaurants offering these ‘set menus’ which is supposed to offer value but in reality is just masquerading with smaller servings and limited choices. Not a good look for a highly rated ‘Michelin Star’ restaurant!!!

    After a very warm welcome and special attention during all the meal, we spent a very nice moment enjoying excellent dishes. If you try it, you adopt it!
