Food was amazing. Everything was very fresh. It is a little pricey for a Greek restaurant. Worth the money but expensive.
Food was fantastic (as usual) and very tasty. Quality was top notch and everything was so flavorful. The zucchini and eggplant chips are always a great starter....I dream about the tzatziki that comes along with it! I had the salmon which was perfectly cooked. Yum!
They have great happy hour drink and oyster deals so go early and then sit for dinner. Food and drinks were great and the service was amazing!
We got the jalapeno tequila cocktail and the happy hour red Greek wine, both very good.
For appetizers we got the dip platter and the shrimp loukamades. Both were a home run- definitely get the tzaiki it's was very fresh. We also got the caviar and crazy feta spreads that were delicious.
For dinner I got the lobster pasta which was good but didn't have enough lobster for the amount of pasta, also wished it had a little cheese or something to break up the favor of the sauce. My friends god the lamb, scallops, and feta mashed potatoes with the short ribs. Scallops were the crowd favorite followed by the mashed potatoes.
Overall great experience with a chic greek vibe.
Food was ok. Ordered the octopus and the lamb and cod. Portions were small; prices were exorbitant. The table was wobbly and the waiter did the whole cardboard under the table trick. It didn’t work. Whole place was empty and they sat us next to the bar with a bunch of loud Wall Street guys; not a very romantic date night.
Wonderful food, and service was great. Definitely will recommend this to others!!
Food was great. Service a bit slow and music was way too loud. Could barely hear my wife.
Great place in FiDi. The food was good and fresh, great seafood. Would have liked the place to be a bit more alive, but it was FiDi on a weekend, quiet.
If you are pressed for time this is not the restaurant for you. Service is a tad bit slow. But if you have a couple of hours to chill and enjoy your dinner guest then this place is definitely for you. Overall the food taste really delicious . Ordered the grilled snapper (whole fish) surf and turf (scallops and lamb chops) Tuna steak, fried calamari and grilled asparagus. It was plenty to feed four people.
Extremely slow service, we waited over an hour for our main course on lunch specials.
great greek restaurant in fidi/seaport area. fish was excellent - simply grilled, but the spices gave it so much flavor!! similar to a kyma/limani, yet can be a bit more casual of a night OR a special occasion, with decent price points. great menu/spot for the area. good background music as well!
As always, everything was perfectly cooked and delicious.
Great service and food is always great. Our best Greek food spot in NYC.
Team birthday lunch. It was great!!!! Food, service...no complaints!
Good food overall, a few of dishes were outstanding and a few were good. Fish was very good overall some of the dishes were modernized a bit too much.
Good for business lunches. Big portions.
Amazing. We go here often and it’s such a special restaurant. Great food and service
Have been going here for a few years. Wasn’t impressed the first few times but they keep getting better and now one of my favorite places to go for lunch in the area. Everything we got was delicious and the lunch special is a great deal. I took some the salmon and hummus home and put it in a salad the next day and it was even more delicious. Only comment - portion sizes can vary greatly depending on what you order.
Really solid food, especially the fish selection.
Team holiday luncheon
Everything was incredible! The food was delicious, our group split a few shared plates. The fish was beyond fresh and everything was high-quality. Wonderful wine, ambiance and wait staff. Will definitely be returning soon!
Food was average at best and points for dining there.
The food was amazing! I talked with the Chef briefly and he comes from the island of Kefalania and has some really innovative new Greek dishes he will soon be putting out to try on the menu! Im definitely going back and very soon! It’s so nice to find a really great talented Greek chef! I am a Greek American so I can appreciate just being served good Greek food from enjoying amazingly tasty wonderful Greek food! A superb Greek chef is as much about practicing the art of Hellenic fine cooking and using the right spices and very fresh ingredients! Eating at 11 Hanover is an extraordinary pleasure!
This was the first time we were here and it was very pleasant: We will be back. The service was very good, but there are small things that make it not "excellent": They did not have my favorite whiskey (JW Black, a fairly common brand), the salad was a bit bland, and the tuna tartare had a huge dollop of hummus that was not very subtle.
This was our first dinner in the city and we had a great time. The bar is well appointed and the restaurant is casual and comfortable. The menu is packed with Mediterranean options that reminded us of our trips to Malta and Mallorca. The octopus appetizer was fantastic. I found the whole fish selection to be exceptional and my pink snapper was perfectly prepared. My wife's lamb chops were beautifully presented and delicious. We would not hesitate to visit 11 Hanover Greek on our next trip to NY.
The greek soup and salad were just perfect...We had several of the appetisers which I cannot recall however, all were great.
Very good fresh Greek food in a stylish setting. Noise level is a bit high so make sure your table isn’t next to a big group.
Food and service were amazing
Solid all round
Great restaurant. All the food is outstanding. Service attentive and experienced. Little pricey but you’re paying for quality.
Outstanding. Octopus out of this world, shrimp loukamadis wonderful, spanakopita amazing! Short walk to Pier 17 for a concert.
My cocktail was delicious!
My appetizer, grilled calamari was also delicious!
But my sea bass was not fresh and for the prize it was not worth it :(
Food was amazing. The Aphrodite was delicious. We had a great experience.
Excellent place! I loved it! Be careful with how many players you choose. Portions are very big and generous
The food and service were amazing. Seafood was so fresh. Ambiance is very cool. My only complaint was the music was loud. Great music but too loud.
Best bakalava in the city, hands down.
We really wanted to have a nice time and while the wait staff was kind, the service was slow, the wine was a VERY short pour, the fries were soggy and everything was overpriced. It's a big space, which was nice.
I asked to hold the salt on my food but it wasn't done
This place is amazing! The food was underpriced, the wine was perfectly selected, the music was curated by a master, and the service was outstanding. I recommend the to anyone for a nice date, business dinner, or dinner with friends. This place has it all.
I have dined here for professional lunches twice. It is an excellent option in the Financial District. The food and service are lovely, the menu focuses on seafood but there are meat and veggie options, most classic greek items are available. The spanikopita was delicious. The decor is modern and chic.
