    We are locals who were looking for a new spot to try out, and we visited 1001 Nights based on its excellent online reviews. We immediately felt right at home in this warm and welcoming spot, from the host's smiling hello onwards. Free street parking is close by, and the restaurant is perfectly placed for a pre- or post-dinner stroll in pretty Mount Eliza. The team are wonderfully helpful, and the menu has a great mix of meats, vegie options and salads to choose from. There's a sociable and chatty atmosphere in the room, with tables for smaller and larger groups, which we enjoyed - buzzy but not so loud for a good chat. We agreed that we've found a new favourite and will be back.

    Gone five times now and it's always brilliant. The staff are efficient and attentive. The food is 11/10. We ordered a wide range from vegetarian through to the mixed grill. Get the warm dolmas. Great experience. You won't walk away hungry.
