Food is always good, can never go wrong with the buffet.
Family get together
Great atmosphere, live music, and all you can eat crab legs, sushi, prime rib.
Love the casual atmosphere, great wait staff, and good variety of food (had the dinner buffet). The view of tha harbor was really nice and you don't have to drive into Waikiki.
I miss the tempura.
Disappointingly, dinner service is not as awesome as lunch. Wait staff is not as attentive as they seem to be short-handed. Drinks are not filled and plates not cleared as attentively as during lunch and it wasn't even too busy yet; many empty tables around us. Our host even stopped by to fill our cups. This is our third dinner visit in four months with the same lackluster service. Fortunately, the awesome food makes up for the mediocre service!
Overpriced. Seafood selection was moderate. Items available were good.
100 Sails is a beautiful restaurant with a beautiful view of, well, at least 100 sails in the harbor right out the window. The food and food choices were outstanding, as was the service. Also, the value was there...snow crab legs, clam chowder, various seafood dishes, roast beef and more. If I were to offer any criticism, it would be that the seats near the window receive the air conditioning, so they can be uncomfortably cold. Also, the snow crab legs may be cool, so wait for the hot ones to come out. And the dessert offerings, though tasty, were not many. And the noise level was on the high side, so this is not a spot for intimate conversations. But wonderful for families! Overall, given the quality of the food, and the ambience (especially the view), the experience was well-worth the price. We'll be back again, most likely on the Mon-Thurs senior nights for a $10 discount! Free validated parking (for now) in the garage.
OMG! A friend recommended this this place and she was on spot!! Everything was perfect! I couldn't have found a better place than this! Thank you 100 Sails for everything and especially for making this a memorable event!
Upon entering the dining area, past the reception desk and the bar area, there were available seats near the window overlooking the boat harbor. At that time, the sun was setting past Magic Island and beyond. I could have used a glass of bubbly to welcome in the sunset.
The buffet selection was as ordinary as found in any Waikiki buffet without a harbor view--a view of Waikiki Beach instead. There were sashimi of one type of fish-- white meat that was firm, possibly macarel or possibly some sorry of "sustainable" fish-- two types of niguri (one of which was squid), four types of fruit.
Each hot entree were containers in its own electric warmer consisting of a pale imitation of pad thai, beef evil curry (some coconut based Thai dish), Chinese steamed fish fillets, black bean crab, steamed crab legs, muscle with veggies, and clam chowder (at least one of the dinners kept raving about it because it had bacon). In a corner, there was a carving station for prime rib and made-to-order cone sushi.
In the back end of the dining area, where there were no diners seated, were the limited desserts. Bread pudding in an electric warmer, green tea cake, tartllets, macadamian nut pie, flan, coconut tapioca, and miniature cream puffs lined the desert wall. Apparently, there is a dinner menu in which other desserts can be bought a la carte.
I was not too happy with the food selection that was presented. Paying$60 per person - not too many selection and majority of the time the chaffing dishes was empty, that's a rip off (There were more cold foods than hot foods) - really disappointed.
Server - Philip was the greatest. Friendly and energetic.
The bus boy didn't even ask if we were done with our plate he just took it, we were still working on it - how rude.
I had heard that the buffet was not as good as when it was Price Court but I enjoyed the selections presented
Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by a host with a very welcoming and helpful hospitality!!! Waited for 2 minutes and then were seated on a nice table. Place were grown up with beautiful music. Waiters were there to remove dirty dishes on our table through out our dinner. Very nice place. Wished there were a discount or kama'aina rate. Expensive but good.
Aloha & Mahalo to our server Philip O. He just made our whole experience a bundle of fun!
Fresh food and great variety. We really enjoyed the experience.
Food was good but kinda far
Great as usual
Also friendly and courteous staff every time we have dined. No complaints food is delicious
For my father's birthday and he enjoyed and that's all that matters.
Go there when I want to have unlimited crab legs. I think the food was a higher grade and much more when it was prince court. Restaurant is remodel, much better. Med price buffet, service excellent. We will return in the future
Lunch buffet here was very good.....especially with the over 60 discount ! Spicy tuna hand rolls and tuna poke especially yummy
Made reservations for Valentines Day through Open Table and only available time was 8 pm. I left a request to call me if an earlier time was to open up but no call. Got there at 8, still waited 25 min to get seated. We were seated on the inside wall so our view was white walls rather than the harbor. Went to the buffet and a lot of the food looked dry or picked over. Not sure since they were closing at 10 pm that they may not have wanted to keep the stations looking fresh or bring out fresh food. Was very disappointed especially since it was $80/person and it cost just the same as the first person’s who walked in that night. Personally, for this much $, I could have spent it elsewhere and got better quality. I’ll know next time. Maybe their regular buffet might be better but I wouldn’t recommend this for special days.
It's was a Awsome Valentines Day Dinner. Ate about 6 lobsters & 4 lambs... with a dozen oysters!!! It was the BEST Ever!!!
Have dined here every year for Valentine’s Day starting back when it was the Prince Court restaurant. The buffet selection served here is finest served in Waikiki. What keeps me coming back here are the chilled snow crabs, prime rib, lamb chops and famous bread pudding with warm vanilla sauce. The complimentary red rose for the ladies is nice touch. Parking was free with validation at the restaurant which was a big plus. I’m looking forward to coming back again next year.
Great Customer Service from valet to dining at 100 Sails
Great selection at buffet- glasses at the table were never empty- always filled, empty buffet plates picked up for next round. Table of 6 with a couple having their anniversary enjoyed dining at 100 Sails Thank-you Mahalo & Aloha
The food is always good and we love the sushi bar. The best thing about 100 Sails is the service - from the wonderful hostess to every single waiter and waitress - we are always impressed with their thoughtfulness, friendliness and efficiency. Kudos!
The buffet dinner was excellent. It is the perfect venue for family celebrations. The service is good and sunset is beautiful. Possibly the only drawback is the location of the various "food stations". It was a bit confusing. They are widely spaced and, given the large number of people enjoying the Sunday Brunch, sometimes they were difficult to find. We had a fabulous meal but left wondering if we had seen everything, perhaps there was yet another food/cuisine offering tucked into a corner
Great service! Food was delicious and the entertainment was awesome!
Service was outstanding food was great
Nice restaurant, nice staff, very helpful and kind. Have both American-style and Japanese-style breakfast buffet, so I got to try a few new things - always fun to do.
Buffet was really expensive but food & service were excellent.
I went there for my anniversary dinner. We were hoping to be seated near the window overlooking the harbor. However, we were seated in a room that had two separate large parties. We could barely hear one another, also it was so hot because of the body heat. We were hoping to have an enjoyable experience like we did when it was Prince Court. We are local people who wanted to experience the aloha spirit that we often share, but we felt like we were not welcome because we were local. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
You had me at tender King crab legs with melted butter.
Good buffet....typical mediocre vegas style buffet. Nothing extravagant. Good lively atmosphere. Typical seafood, shrimp, crab legs, sushi, some typical Hawaiian dishes. $60 is a bit on the pricey side. Worth about $28.99 on the mainland but hey this is Hawaii and when in Hawaii do as Hawaiian tourist do, pay that little extra for that Hawaiian island vibe.... i do admit that this is one of the better buffets on the island.
Loved it. The only critique is that the seat pillow pad kept sliding underneath the booster seat. Overall, our favorite seafood buffet on Oahu.
Aloha! I dined at 100 Sails two (2) days in a row. I enjoyed the Seafood Buffet (dinner) as much as I enjoyed the Hawaiian Buffet (Lunch)!! ONO & Fantastic!
The renovation was quite a shock to me! I LOVE IT! KUDO's
Everything was wonderful! The only exception was the Hostess, she was not very friendly and did not seem to have the proper demeanor for someone in her position. I recommend having someone who is smiling and welcoming and is happy to be there. This woman would be more suited as a prison guard. Sorry, just being honest. I noticed she did not smile while seating other patrons as well, so we didn't take it personally. But Harold, our server, more than made up for it, except he could have refilled our coffee, that was the only thing that was missed. Overall a great culinary experience! We'll be back! Thank you!
It’s a very nice restaurant.. the food is very delicious
Tasty food and AMAZING service! Friendly and so attentive!
this was my first lunch experience, I normally go for breakfast here. I was disappointed with the entrees that was offered, not as good as could be.
Food was mediocre at best. The roasted beets with goat cheese salad was not roasted Nor was there any appreciable amount of goat cheese. The ahi with pasta was bland and not sashimi grade in my opinion.
The kimchi fried rice was good.
The location is excellent for being in the hotel but this new restaurant attempt has a long way to go to compete in the area given the prices.
Our waitress was friendly and tried hard to overcome the mediocre food.
