100 Sails Restaurant & Bar
Experience a fresh active bar serving as the centerpiece of the restaurant. Enjoy tasty small bites throughout the day and craft cocktails in the evening.
A renewed focus on island fresh cuisine promises to elevate the entire dining experience including an artfully displayed breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet each day of the week.
We went for the lunch buffet during Chinese New Years week. The quality of the food was very good. Selection was not as much as the Kahala or Halekulani but for a fraction of the price you expect that. There was both Hawaiian staples as well as prime rib, hand roll sushi and wonderful deserts. You must save room for the haupia/coconut cake. It is amazing. Needless to say I had more than one slice. 😂. The service was also very good. Our drinks were being refilled just as fast as we could drink them. Amazing. I felt like I was eating at a nice restaurant in Japan. If you’ve experienced that, you know what I mean. To top it off we got a Senior discount. 🤙
Felt like a cafeteria. Check in like a group. They want you to do buffet but ala cart is better. Chicken licata was excellent. Service no smiles not inviting just wanted to clean and have you eat buffet.
Taken care by very attentive and friendly waitstaff. Will go again
Great service but food was okay and soft drinks and coffee were Ala carte
Service by our wait staff was excellent (she kept checking to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything), tables were cleared of used dishes quickly, and the Hawaiian lunch buffet food had a good variety of choices and very tasty.
The hot food and sushi lines were really long, ran out of hot foods quickly, and the people who just got their sushi “cut” into the hot food line.
- moving the sushi line to another area of the restaurant;
- having two lines for the hot foods (moving hot food to an area where guests can be on either side); and
- replenish the hot foods frequently so guests are not standing around waiting for the food to come out.
*Maybe do the last suggestion during the beginning of lunch (11:30-12:45) of the Saturday lunch buffet.
overall is nice but bit pricy for the food quality. No need to price down but hope better food
I have been to 100 Sails on several occasions...this time we were celebrating birthdays for two friends ... everyone enjoyed the food and ambiance.
Overall, I will definitely return for future business lunches.
Suggestion; tables could be slightly larger relative to space needed for multiple plates (buffet) setting. Drink coasters would be a nice too.
Restrooms were very clean and in close proximity to the restaurant. Lastly, the view of the harbor through the glass wall bordering the entire seating area was a bonus!
Great food in a beautiful location. Service was excellent especially since it was a buffet. Try to be there to experience a beautiful Hawaiian sunset! Wonderful value for the money. Going back soon!
Breakfast buffet items were limited.
Pastries were delicious and outstanding.
I did standing at Sushi Counter, the day which is Thursday, there person making TEMAKI Sushi, He was not to friendly, I went back two times, when I went second time, he look at me like why you are here again.
He should be more friendly to everyone, he does not say one word, so he was very hard to approach.
Other persons are waiting too, he should be friendly approach.
Out of town family visiting
I enjoyed my experience in having the luncheon buffet at 100 Sails. The variety of different selections of food were tasty and delicious.
I was very satisfied with the service and the timely manner that they came to replenish my drink orders and clearing the table for each round of new dishes that I went to get at the buffet tables.
This is one of my favorite places to come to eat, enjoy the view of the harbor and relax ands enjoy my company.
Thank you for a wonderful time.
We went on a Monday for a belated birthday celebration. We were really looking forward to the food. But the crab was a disappointment. We really only ate the prime rib and hand rolls. Everything else we pretty much tried it once and never went back. I don't think we will be coming back again, as it's quite pricey...
Everything was excellent except I think the hot entrees could have been better. Otherwise, dinner buffet was great.
Every food item I had was excellent: crab meat slides out completely intact, fried oysters super tasty, sushi superfresh, prime rib tender & savory, desserts the best. (and the salads looked good.) But honestly the biggest reason we keep coming back is because the chef personally walks with our son through every dish and points out which items contain/may contain nuts, which he's literally deathly allergic to. Every time we've come, the chef promptly meets him at our table and takes him on a tour. Kudos and huge mahalos to 100 Sails!
The food choices in lunch buffet are very limited.
Very reliable. It was the 1st time for my guests who were very impressed. 1 of them was vegetarian so there were enough offerings for her.
I was just here on Christmas Day missed having the sushi bar option but was glad to see it was back today.
A small group of us get together every couple of months for Sun brunch & usually come here.
Our open table reservation, they made us sit at the bar w/ my child! Where does it state that open table sits only at the bar? The price was way to expensive, the menu does not match the online menu! One worker said happy hour starts at 5:30pm the other says it ended at 5pm! Very disappointed!! Won’t be back, wouldn’t recommend to any friends!
We thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening. Food selection was excellent and the seafood, especially the sashimi, was so fresh. Attentive wait staff. Parking is also comped - even valet - which we didn’t know until after. Would definitely go back. They said they had a 2 hour limit but they never rushed us out.
Have always felt the buffet at the Prince Hotel, whether Prince Court or 100 Sails, was the best. However, after this last experience, I have changed my mind. It is only one of the better buffets but not the best. We had a reservation at 12:15 p.m. By 1:00 p.m., several stations no longer had food and there didn’t seem to be any move to provide more. Especially noteworthy was the futomaki station where the sushi chef had to finally go to the kitchen, cut the futomaki and bring out a tray. It seems everyone was busy doing different things so refilling dishes was not a priority. I wanted to try the eggplant dish and the steamed fish but those dishes were not replenished Am really reluctant to go there again. Service was great and has always been so. Ambiance is one of the best. It’s never too noisy and it really is relaxing. But, for me, maintaining a quality buffet means doing it with omotenashi.
Waitress was horrible I think her name was Grace. Rude. Period.
Great food and outstanding service, definitely worth the time and money.
We live going to 100 Sails, the food is always ono, and the service there is awesome. Our waitress was friendly, fast and efficient.
The buffet never disappoints; the staff are gracious and most attentive. Best brunch with an amazing view.
The service is very attentive, especially for a buffet type of restaurant! The food was delicious, the Hawaiian lunch is definitely worth the money!
I've never been disappointed! I've been coming here since it opened as Prince Court -
I do miss some of the buffet items that's no longer on the new buffet menu, less
food. Need to find a chef who can do tempura well, used to be light & crispy,
and shrimp not overcooked. Overall, it's a good place to get together with a
variety of food and ambiance is great.
The food was very disappointing , the crab legs were old and not tasty. I would have rather gone to the Pagoda restaurant for half the price. I took my son to celebrate his birthday and it was very disappointing . This is the last time you take my hard earned money. It’s ridiculous to charge that much for a buffet that is just not worth it. I will be telling all the local people I know to save their money and go somewhere else. Shame on you!
My son wanted to celebrate his birthday with crab legs. I didn’t know that the crabs legs were served cold. Was sorta bummed about that and the selection of food was less than before. But can imagine how much food is wasted. We enjoyed the temaki station and desserts tho.
Should occasionally change buffet menu for the frequent customers. Add one or two surprise dishes.
The $60 price tag comes secondary to the seafood, specifically the crab legs. Those who I was with said the food was good. I can’t eat shellfish, and generally steer away from ocean/water fare. That left very little for my selection. That said, what I was able to eat was good. No outstanding flavors or textures, but all well prepared. It was difficult to equate the food with a $60/per head fee, however. Perhaps if there were either more choices for those of us who can’t partake...
The service was outstanding. Well attended to, and courteous, helpful team!
Great food! Good service! Reasonable price!
Unfortunately it was not clarified that happy hour only occurs at the bar. Not valid to open tables.
Great service before and during our reservation. Rebecca was amazing, and accommodated us with seats more toward the window so that my son (who’s on the spectrum) wouldn’t feel overwhelmed.
The workers were friendly and always ensuring our table was well taking care of. We enjoy all the great food.
Lighting was too dark where we were seated and not much kid friendly food was available but over all experience was good. Very fresh seafood and good quality food.
Endless crab legs and beautiful sunset. Romantic ambiance to stuff your face.
Delicious buffet food and great ambience with live music
