We had an excellent time at 100 Sails. James our server was so nice and accommodating. My wife had a great birthday there and our baby loved the honey dew and Soyu chicken.
Noisy, over priced. The food was not hot and freshly cooked. The wine was good. The waiter was fine but very hurried and harried!
Overall good !!
Visited by the beautiful view of the sunset from the window.
However, there were many seats in the middle of the window, which was assigned to the edge of the window, making it almost impossible to see the glow.
The food was delicious.
Great choice of selection, we choice to dine here several times in the past week, great service, clean and fresh.
I feel that it was hard to see where you can start for the buffet, i was confused where the rice was. I do wish that their were more selection of food to choose from that were fried or stewed- couldn’t really find a lot of meat to pick but a lot of veggies. The music was absolutely beautiful and entertainment was interactive with guest made us feel really special. Our waiter- Harold I believe he was so nice and very approachable, such A1 service! Overall was a great time and they even took us in 10-15 minutes later than my scheduled time, which was really awesome! Would definitely come back again! :)
Loved the variety of food! Service was excellent!
Love everything about 100 sails
Great food and great company and we wanted to share your restaurant with our friends that live here in Honolulu. They were very impressed and saying that we are all coming back Saturday for dinner before we leave, until our next visit.
The food selection was terrific and the fact your chef came out to walk around the buffet with our friend with food allergies was outstanding.
Our server was attentive and greeted us instantly with a warm “Happy Anniversary” (absolutely great start to the evening). This was our second visit to the buffet, and our table near the buffet line this time was much less loud than our previous table that was closer to the musician (we had to talk loudly to each other during our last visit). Either way, this restaurant is lively and bustling with energy. Great mood for any celebration!
Our dinner took place on a Saturday evening, while a private event was being hosted in their private dining room, however, despite the heavy traffic of people frequenting the buffet, employees were quick and very attentive towards maintaining the food line (there was barely a wait for anything!). There are 2 convenient crab leg stations at each end of the buffet, and a prime rib station at the beginning.
Our sole intention for dinner this evening was to enjoy crab legs (which are available at a decent price!), however, we would have enjoyed a greater variety of food options as well. There is 1 chicken option, 1 fish option, prime rib, 2 styles of nigiri with taking poke, and a plethora of fruit/salad/vegetable options. The dessert station is amazing with a wide variety of sweets (bread pudding was the star of the evening).
Have definitely recommended this beautiful spot to friends and will return for crab!
Our favorite place to go on a special occasion! New menu items would be great!
We've been here a few times and only tonight Philip our server offered to have our crab legs heated up. Awesome service by this outstanding man. His crew was also great.
Good place for business lunch or hanging out with friends. The selection of food is a bit limited, but its good.
Great food and beautiful views. Make a reservation for 5:30 for the best seat
I felt like I was at a Disney cruise buffet only there wasn’t nearly as much good food choices. Two buffets with one glass of wine was over $120 and I ate what I would value at being worth about $20/person.
Waiter just kept walking around. Not attentive. Had ordered a glass of wine and was finished with dinner when wine finally came.
Came in to celebrate a birthday. We arrived before sunset and the view was amazing. We were seated right when we got there and waited for the rest of our party to come. Our waiter came to check on us and made sure we were ok. When our whole party arrived our waiter took our drink orders and made sure we were set for our dinner buffet.
Overall, food was good. I made myself a plate of snow crab legs to start the night. Of course I had to get a hand roll from the made to order station. Didn't have the prime rib, saved to the room for crab legs instead, put one of our party said the piece he got was over cooked.
Our waiter was really nice and checked on us frequently. I made a special request for a dessert for the birthday celebrant when making my reservation and they delivered a dessert that wasn't on the buffet line, with candles.
We were all stuffed by the end of our dinner. Children under 6 are free, discount if you have a Marukai card (up to 6 people with each card). Highly recommend!
First time here and glad I came here for my birthday! Menu selection was better than most buffets such as miso eggplant, kabocha shepherd's pie, and adobo fried rice. Taste was better than normal with this particular buffet as most buffets normally has a "mass numbers taste". This one was solid. Ambience was pleasant and seating was seamless. Everyone, including the bus help was smiling or looked relax. But the crowning achievement of this restaurant was the service. My glass was NEVER 1/2 FULL. After the constant refilling of water glasses by the staff, I decided to show my teenage son what great service is. I drank my water glass to half, and within 30 seconds, it got filled. Tried this again a few minutes later....same result. On a separate occasion, I drank my glass in front of the waitress as she went around the table filling water glasses to test my theory. She went right around the table filling glasses , then ended by returning to my end and filled my 3/4 full glass to the top. Who does that?!
Cold crab legs was above average in size and taste but no hot butter. It's not available on the line. Asked a staff member....boom...no question...got delivered hot and ready for the crab legs. He even said thanks. For what, asking? We were the ones that were thankful! That guy was too nice!
I wish service was like this at a lot of places but simultaneously, it makes restaurants like 100 Sails stand out. Mahalo for a wonderful birthday experience from a food vendor and culinary school graduate. You have made my birthday and my industry proud!
The buffet was not "over the top" but a good combination of premium dishes and comfort foods. Endless crab legs and perfectly cooked prime rib were great and I also enjoyed the Thai curry soup, chicken katsu curry, and limu tomato salad. The dessert selection was limited but good, including a taro cheesecake tart. I learned from a previous visit to 100 Sails that some desserts are of limited quantity and may not be available if you wait until the end of your main courses. On this visit, my dinner companion and I put together our dessert plates before starting the main meal. Sure enough, some dessert selections ran out early in the evening. We were disappointed to be seated in a back room with no ambiance or view out a window. However, it was much quieter and cooler than the main dining areas. Our server was attentive and pleasant. The live music was an unexpected plus.
Food was fresh and delicious! Great selection to choose from. Beautiful view of the sunset!

I rarely post a review but I was very disappointed this time.
Went on a Saturday night where they serve prime rib and snow crab. I would have enjoyed it a little more if they served the crab hot instead of cold, but either way, it was delicious. My ultimate favorite were the lobster bisque and sashimi slices. Ambiance is nice and the servers were very attentive and friendly.
Wonderful service, awesome selection on the buffet. Prime rib & snow crab were top notch!
We reserved a table at 6:45pm to celebrate my 25th birthday. My overall experience was not great and we will not be returning customers. I reserved a table with a special request of sitting by the window. But while the hostess was finding me a seat, a guy came up behind her and started explaining how all the window tables are already taked by the 5:30pm crowd, all window seats are already taken. I asked, even if I have reservation? To which he replied everyone here has a reservation. So it is safe to assume that if you don't have a reservation of right when they open at 5:30pm, your special requests doesn't mean anything. It would be more efficient to check who requests for a window that night, before just giving all the window tables to those who reserved right when you open. I have claustrophobia and anxiety, although they sat us far away from the window right next to the busy buffet. It was not a great experience already. Then my first drink, it was a surprise sunrise I think? It was incredibly strong. I felt like I was ordering a drink in Vegas again! Our waiter even told us, it's the strongest drink on the menu and had to bring me cranberry juice to juice it down. Maybe you folks should put that on the menu, I expected to enjoy my drink not feel like I'm taking a shot with every sip. Our waiter was awesome. The food was okay.
I went to this restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday and really liked it! The service and food are excellent. They even served a birthday plate for my friend. The one thing I didn’t like was the parking. I had to pay 15 dollars with validation. Other than that, I was very happy with this restaurant.
Outstanding haven’t been there forever, very good choice for out of town guests 💜
The food selection in the buffet line was disappointing. Couldn’t believe they didn’t have steamed crab, prime rib was salty, and the service was terrible to the point where I literally had to yell for the server multiple times. Always had to ask for a refill. The server wasn’t on his game. Overall the company is what made me enjoy it. No way this buffet is worth $65 a person .
Great place to celebrate a breakfast birthday! Enjoyed the atmosphere and quality food. Thanks!!
screaming baby at adjacent table despite request for quiet table. Food too salty for all of us
We enjoy 100 Sails for the lunch buffet, it's not overwhelming, the choices are outstanding and delicious.
For the price this restaurant is not worth your money. It’s a SMALL overpriced buffet and the “sushi” is not hand rolled. There were few items on the buffet for the price. We spent over $200 for two people and were very disappointed as we were recommended this place for good sushi and it wasn’t satisfying at all.
Delicious and a beautiful setting. The service is warm and attentive. Just great!
Was nice and atmosphere was great. Food in the buffet was looking like they were counting for profit.
Buffet always superb. We frequent this venue often. We all head for the prime rib. Unfortunately both ends are highly desirable but with only 2 ends so very limited. Otherwise meat prepared very well.
Thank you Roland for singing Happy Birthday with us we really needed your voice.
The acoustics is very bad. I don’t think the room was designed to have open music. The entertainment was nearer to the bar counter and we were located in the middle. Our table conversations was at yelling levels. Piped in Hawaiian music at low volume would suffice. Then we can enjoy the meal the service personnel and each other’s company. Hope this problem will be eliminated.
Just beautiful, in every way!
Always a good place to go. On the website they showed Kalbi as a Wednesday night entree on the buffet. That’s why we chose Wednesday night to go. There was no kalbi on the line. There was lamb instead. Was looking forward to the kalbi. Maybe I read wrong. Maybe I didn’t see the small print that says subject to change at any time. Next time I’ll call first.
Food is just average in taste and quality, but service was very good and superb
Noisy, limited menu if not going to buffet. Basic hotel restaurant. Highlight was the view.
This is just a review for the lunch buffet. We the service us good as always. Just felt for the cost if the lunch buffet, there wasnt much selection of food. Yes...there is a carving and sushi handroll station, but hit food selection was mediocre.
I cannot believe that other people recommended this restaurant with high stars,
I don't even know I can call this as SEA FOOD BUFFET.
There was only one type of SASHIMI (tuna) and boiled prawn/crab and they named this as sea food buffet.
I went with 6 ppl and we would better to order single dishes.
