100 Acres: The Kitchens at Hotel Henry
A unique restaurant experience, 100 Acres is located in a sprawling hall-type setting on the first floor of Hotel Henry Urban Resort Conference Center with a variety of thoughtfully composed dining spaces and atmospheres.
Enjoy house-made pastries and artisan breads from our bakery with coffee and espresso drinks from The Counters during breakfast. Choose from full-service, grab & go, take out, fine, and casual dining in The Halls and Burgandy Room. Sip craft cocktails and hand-selected wines in the Bar Room, or intimate tastings and progressive dinners in The Parlor.
Menu mainly anything but keto. Way too much bread and potatoes. No lunch menu.
Service was okay. We felt rushed by our waiter really for no reason. There was plenty of empty tables which I didn’t get why I couldn’t reserve a table for three. Food was pretty solid. Drinks were great. It was extremely loud which is due to their design. Being sat underneath some old wooden staircase will make for a loud obnoxiously annoying experience.
The food was amazing especially the appetizer. One thing to definitely get is the bread with cultured butter. It was the best bread I’ve ever had.
We enjoyed seeing the renovations to the hotel, it is beautiful. The restaurant , bar and cafe’ area are inviting and bright. The food was of good quality , and portions were plentiful. Unfortunately the service was poor, starting with the hostess whom was rude and unfriendly. We were seated and no server came for about 10 mins , at that point we asked a person bussing a table nearby for help. Our server then came and was kind but seems like she was overbooked. Sadly we were let down on the special occasion.
Always great food, great service and beautiful atmosphere. My favorite brunch place! The cinnamon bun for two is amazing!!
The food was great and so was the service! Very nice spot for a special occasion or night out.
Unique experience in contemporary setting, farm to table menu, flavorful tapas options though adequate portions. Suggest winter vegetable salad and polenta!
Visited the Kitchens when it first opened and it was a lovely experience. The ambiance was great, service was very attentive, and menu options were diverse and the food was to be raved about. Over the last few years each time I go back there has been a steady decline in the menu, food, and service. It's been really disappointing to see the decline so quickly, I hope they get back on track soon.
Came for shared birthday brunch celebration and yet again 100 Acres, did not disappoint!
Great food for the price. Sat in a hallway though, was a little noisy and a lot of people walking by with bags and luggage. But we would be interested in going back and sitting in the main restaurant.
My wife and three friends had a wonderful experience at 100 Acres. From the time we sat down to the time we left was a joy. The food was outstanding, including the appetizers. We had a great time and would definitely go often.
Honestly the best Chef in Buffalo. You need to try his food.
Excellent service, gorgeous setting, unique and delicious cocktails.
The food was amazing. Our server was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Will definitely be back!
Wonderful service and outstanding food and drink. Our server Jay was excellent.
Nice leisurely dinner, good food, prices are fair for the selections. Not like other WNY restaurants.
I'm in love with the Hotel Henry. It's my favorite place to stay now when I'm in Buffalo. 100 Acres has a fantastic happy hour. Our dinner has always been fantastic there with innovative yet simple menu items. The staff is fantastic. I cannot say more. I cannot wait to get back!
It has to be experienced! Our New York City children said there was nothing like it in New York!
A wonderful time was had by all. Food was fabulous, presentation excellent, service outstanding, atmosphere was calming and very attractive. Will be back soon for sure
WAs an ok dinner. Not memorable experience. Wait staff just ok.
The food was phenomenal!! Every part of the dinner was outstanding!
Excellent service and lovely ambiance. My husband and I are both dinner and brunch at the 100 Acres this weekend and enjoyed it immensely. I rate the food a 4 as my crab dish was too salty but otherwise both meals were delicious. Especially the cinnamon roll that we shared for brunch. I highly recommend the 100 Acres for both special occasions and friends get-together given the ambiance and the wonderful assortment of small plates designed to be shared.
Everything was outstanding. Hotel Henry is my favorite spot for brunch and dinner. Thank you for providing such wonderful service with creative (YUMMY!) meals. We’ll be back SOON.
Food and drink were very good. Ambience was unique.
Trying to find entrance into the place was a challenge. Finally found the main entrance on what would be considered the back of the building. Address is on Forrest Ave, but can't get in from there. Need better signage.
We had dinner and then brunch here the following day. The food was phenomenal! The service was outstanding! The signature cocktail was amazing! All in all an exceptional meal!!
Food was of high quality, barely warm and portion size was very small
Beautiful building. Attractive dining spaces with many alcoves that provide privacy but connect to larger space with soaring ceiling. Great Food including local sourcing. Vegan options. Less expensive than most comparable restaurants.
Wonderful and unique ambience in light of hotel’s history as a psych ward. Menu was straight-forward and inductive toward sharing while sipping wine. Great place to dine and talk in light of restaurant’s layout: noise level low! Our server, Natalie, was superb! Didn’t miss a thing and was not too intrusive and ensured we were taken care of. Food excellent and unique. Wonderful dinner. Definitely will return. Highly recommend. Love valet parking too!
Food was delicious. I have been there before and the service was much better. Our server was excellent and there must have been a problem in the kitchen as we waited over an hour for our entrees! Luckily we had appetizers ahead of time but my son's cheeseburger was over cooked, obviously spending too much time under the heat lamps! It seemed like all the meals for all the tables around us came out together so something happened in the kitchen!
Expensive for just a main course - 4 scallops, you must pay extra even for bread, salad extra. Scallops were well prepared. Very limited dinner menu. Think going for drinks and appetizers is a better choice. Also, some seating is in a hallway.
Made our first visit to the Hotel Henry after booking a horse drawn carriage ride through Banner Farms. We arrived at 100 Acres after our carriage ride having made reservations for brunch. We talked with the hostess to explain our being nearly an hour early and she invited us to have a drink at the bar while she tried to find us a table. We hadn't even finished our mimosa's when she came back to let us know she had a table ready for us, which was truly remarkable as the place was packed! We had a great table at a window overlooking the property and our server was excellent: friendly, knowledgeable but never hovering. We both went with the cheeseburger - my wife added the maple bacon - and both opted to hold the egg. The burgers arrived piping hot, beautifully presented and were absolutely delicious! Piping hot roasted potatoes with a slightly spicy aioli accompanied the burgers, along with a lightly dressed combination of shredded greens. Neither of us finished our plates, though I came close, and left vowing to return!
This is a beautiful venue. The food and service are always exceptional.
Food came cold to the table and we waited well over an hour after we gave our order. Manager did offer a free drink coupon after we complained about the quality of the food. Too little too late. I have dined there before and enjoyed the meal. This time the whole experience was abysmal .
absolutely incredible!! so impressed by what they did to the hospital, and so impressed by the most delicious food! thank you!!!
New Years Eve
We were very disappointed with the food selection. The menu was limited to a tasting menu and not up to their usual standards.
New Years Eve was so well organized for everyone to have fun
Beautiful place. Wonderful service. Had brunch. The bacon was very thick and hard to chew on a sandwich. The croque madam was excellent.
We were seated in the hallway-type seats. While quaint, they are problematic. First, it was cold. I had a space heater behind me but it did very little to battle the drafty area. Second, possibly because our waiter had so much ground to cover, much of it around corners and out of view, we had very inattentive service. An appetizer was forgotten, no one asked how our entrees were (one person would have liked more bread), and we sat with empty plates (the food was good!), forever. We declined dessert because we were kind of cold and miserable . ☹️
They put pickles on my burger after I specifically asked them not to. No cheese substitution available for the burger. Just cheddar. The rib-eye wasn’t seared properly and was completely covered by cole slaw. Meyer lemon cake was frozen. As hard as the small scoop of ice cream that it came with.
