10 Corso Como - New York
Carefully crafted specialty dishes originating from the Italian “cucina povera” highlight fresh, flavorful ingredients, including homemade pasta, braised meats and organic salads. An array of Italian wines headline the expertly curated wine list.
Beautifully designed , service and food both excellent
The food was good but the service seemed rushed.
Great food, outstanding service. Nice and quiet even on a Saturday night.
Might want to rethink the bright white light wall installation. Warm light is better for eating and being social.
Amazing food and service, will be going back soon!
Enjoyable casual yet refined Italian cuisine. Sophisticated but not stuffy.
Food was good small portions
The Valentine’s Day price fixed 4 course menu was fantastic. Great portions and amazing combination of flavors.
LOVE. We were regulars in Milan and so happy to have you close to home in NYC. All staff are amazing, Alek and Zack were so great as always... always fun and great service!
Excellent Italian food in an extremely chic setting. Staff is attentive. Overall, a uniformly positive experience.
I was there to review it for Santé so you can find my review there. Should be up by Tuesday evening.
The setting is very stylish, our server was very attentive and helpful, the food was good, with a notable exception of the dessert (ricotta cheesecake), which was absolutely delicious. We will be back
Great, arty ambiance. It felt like a place that an Italian movie director would walk into with a scarf and sunglasses. Visit the funky bookstore, as well. I never went before, but I went twice for restaurant week, it was that good. Everything was done well, I enjoyed the skate twice, we had a little al dente cacio e pepe, ravioli with cheese and chestnuts, ravioli with truffle, roasted vegetables, frito misto, and some very good cocktails. Just get over your Seaportphobia and go (btw, they've done some pretty good things with the rest of the Seaport).
Meeting up with old coworker. We realized afterwards that we totally stayed past closing. SORRY 10 CORSO COMO!!
10 Corso Como likes to hide their below mediocre food behind their aesthetically pleasing interior. Overall, the food wasn’t bad, but it definitely wasn’t good. The plates were too fatty and rich to be enjoyable. The risotto was straight up all cheese, as well as the gnocchi. Don’t get me wrong, I love cheese, but this was too much. Also their fried sea food appetizer tasted like their fryer oil was going rancid. I think I expected that this place would be really good from their instagram, but the food didn’t even look aesthetically pleasing. The restaurant looks very nice with its modern interior, but it’s all a facade. Wouldn’t recommend going.
Friendly, helpful service. Great ambiance. Delicious food.
What you get for the restaurant week menu is awesome compared to others I have tried and the service is attentive and the ambiance is unique and casual. Good for twos or groups. Higly recommended! And their panna cotta jiggles!
Food was delicious. As a group of 9 we had opportunity to order wide range of appetizers and entrees and of course pasta. We ordered Torino di melanzane, minestrone, mozzarella di bufala, insalata , and zucchini al forno for appetizers and panzerotti, pasta struncatura, branzino, halibut, il pollo, tagliata di man I for entrees. Repeating again each dish was superb. Restaurant interior design is beautiful. Next time I am there I better remember to bring a camera. Would definitely return
Restaurant week prices fix was great value!
Food presented hot, tasty and fresh!
Would definitely return and recommend!!
The dining experience was fine but the ‘welcome’ we received was less than acceptable. We were greeted by a red-headed woman around 2:10pm who easily handed us menus to peruse. After looking at the menus we said we would like to stay and be seated, We were told there were too many reservations coming in so they could only offer us the bar. Clearly there were many empty tables. We were 3 woman of a certain age dressed neatly. We said the bar wouldn’t work for us and started to leave. We decided to check on ‘open table’ on the way out and easily made reservations for 2:30pm! We returned and were seated immediately. Two of the other empty tables stayed empty during our entire meal. On the way out I asked the red-headed hostess why she didn’t seat us originally since it was clear she made up a story and she just mumbled an apology. If they are looking for a specific ‘look’ or ‘age’ that should be listed. The hostess needs training.
The dessert, cheesecake with apples was fantastic.
The gnocchi were a bit overdone and bland.
Overall the meal was good but what made the restaurant special was the concept of a magazine focused on Italian Design. 1/27/2019
Corso Como was a great experience, and my girlfriend and I enjoyed everything about it! Carmine, the waiter we had, was fantastic and attentive. Thank you – we will be coming back!
Food was delicious and service was excellent. We went for brunch - the room was a little cold and high design for brunch. Anxious to try it for dinner :)
Great food and ambiance.
I appreciate the attention to the quality of the ingredients and the attentive service
Being Restaurant Week 2019, I thought I give this place a try. It’s kinda expensive even on this 2 week run and their menus are on the high end scale. The entrees came out a bit on the salty side but THERE IS 1 thing that has to be stated. The Tiramisu and the Cheesecake ARE THE BOMBS! Soo So Great 😄 and you forgot the $$ of the meal. If I DO decide to go again, I will GO only for a late night drink/dessert reason!
The service is perfect. The waitress’s recommendations are much better than what I order :)
Classic Northern Italian recipes that pay homage to the originals. The bechemel sauce in the lasagna Bolognese was perfect. The primi choices transport one to Milano .... Really nice people as well. Very attentive. Gina was terrific!
Excellent food and service. Downtown finance district restaurant. Perfect to take a client or group friends. Outside tables sitting in summer.
Outstanding food and service
Everything was so so good, great suggestions by Alec.
This place was absolutely gorgeous and well appointed, but our waiter failed to pay any attention to our small and quiet group of two. There were only 10 people eating in the restaurant while we dined, and there were at least 5 staff members on the floor, but we had to ask for water every time, and sometimes twice... Maybe they weren't paying attention because we weren't buying liquor... i don't know, but this place left me unimpressed.
Fantastic all around! Food was exquisite, our server was personable and professional, restaurant very beautiful and exquisite attention to detail. Will return!
Great discovery, an adventure in this new concept, Art Gallery, Store and Restaurant, it feels like you are in Milan for the day , the food is authentic and well executed, very relaxing atmosphere, definitely recommend.
One of my favorite spots for lunch and dinner. Great vibe, wonderful staff and delicious food. It's my go-to and I can't wait until summer when the outdoor seating is up and running.
Excellent appetizer (meatball and fritto misto), the pastas was perfect al dente. Tiramisù amazing. Great experience
Experience was great. The pasta was delicious and the service was great. The wine list is very good and has multiple options. The only thing I would not recommend is the tuba tartar appetizer- it was fishy. Otherwise, the food was great.
The setting is really fun and creative from the hand crafted b/w tiles in the entry way to the various design elements that reference the Corso Como circle logo. I'd definitely go when the shop is open as that, in my opinion, is the real draw. Wonderful signature bags, products and well curated beauty and fashion finds.
The food was good---competent.(Note: this was my second time dining here.) But, I felt the menu was a bit heavy, creamy. Squash risotto was the big hit as well as the seasonal Mozzarella. Side greens were ok--What I love about Italian food is that even a side of spinach can be spectacular with the right touch of salt, garlic, olive oil. Spinach was ok but nothing special. Coffee was great.
I'd suggest for dinner with a group/sharing. Or afternoon/late morning coffee/small plate with a friend.
10 Corso Como is my new go-to spot for just about anything. I met up with friends for a brunch before the New Year, and now I want to take everyone I know. The space is beautiful, the food is great, and it is a relaxing and gorgeous environment. I love the new Seaport area!
