The restaurant is a zero-waste operation, which spotlights the team's commitment to preserving the beauty and bounty of nature. And then there's the bar, where cold-pressed juices form the base of cocktails. The wine list highlights unique and iconic selections - many biodynamic or organic - you'll also find handcrafted cocktails and Bluestone Lane coffee. Light-filled and open, 1 Kitchen Toronto has a built-in feeling updated for today, in a glass-walled conservatory-like space with a vaulted wood ceiling and curved trusses hung with greenery. It's a place that's comfortable by nature, where you can eat mindfully and eat well, and savour the flavours that come straight from the Garden Pavilion.

    It was just ok. The strawberry matcha latte was horrible, strawberries kept getting stuck in the straw I asked for pat milk and got almond milk.

    Enjoyed a lovely brunch with friends and good service from Delilah. Only thing we all found was the dressing on the green salad was not the tastiest--perhaps a sesame oil base? Something more basic like olive oil would be a better accompaniment when having salad with eggs in particular. Otherwise, poached eggs were perfectly cooked and omelette and scramble were delicious! Love the atmosphere here.

    1 Kitchen is my regular place for breakfast/ brunch. This time around I brought my parents here for the first time and they loved it too! My dad especially loves the French Toast!

    Our server Shar was delightful and recommended the crispy brussels sprouts. It was the best thing I’ve eaten in ages. The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for our friend get together. We will definitely be back!

    I have been to 1 Kitchen many times and loved it but I was very disappointed yesterday. Key points: Music was very loud - couldn’t hear host/servers Food took a long time to come out Salads were really disappointing Charged 10 dollars to add avocado which is outrageous. I’m sad to say but we won’t be going back anytime soon.
