El R&D es un restaurante informal de estilo urbano ubicado en el centro del emblemático barrio chino de Toronto. Está dirigido por Eric Chong, ganador del primer MasterChef Canadá, y su mentor y dueño Alvin Leung, galardonado con una estrella Michelin. Outstanding Asian cuisine, with amazing service. Be sure to order the Peking Duck when you make your reservation, it’s not to be missed! If you’re looking for a hip night out of fine dining , R&D is the spot!

The food was awesome but took off some stars due to the lack of service. Other than food being dropped off at the table, nobody checked in with us or anything and no water refills.

Literally one of the best meals of my life - there wasn’t a single duff note. My daughter is considering moving to Toronto to be closer to the CSB.

Dishes we ordered were excellent everything just taste so good. We had a chance to try some of there summerlicious dish as ala carte. We got the scallops ceviche which was so good wish they can add it on their regular menu. Unfortunately we haven’t got the chance to try their shrimp toast they were sold out, a good sign we need to comeback soon. Price is affordable given the taste of their dish. And to our server Josh or John sorry forgot his name. Thank you, you made our dining experience really great.

Highly recommend for taste experience if you are a sauce connoesseur...Great for loft/industrial interistyle lovers. Perhaps not ideal for romantic night out

I’ll be honest, I was expecting a lot more from this restaurant. Did the summerlicious menu and I was quite disappointed with the taste of the food.

What a surprise - 10 out of 5! Far exceeded all our expectations. We were half an hour late for our reservation (stuck in famous Toronto traffic) - «N problem - we’ll wait for you! « Incredible summerlicious selection - appetizers, mains, desserts (had to order additional dessert, they were all so delicious). Impeccable service, extremely friendly atmosphere, full of happy people. Have to repeat soon!

We sampled the Summerlicious menu. The food was well plated and presented well. However unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations. Some dishes were flavourful and tasty with others tasting generic. One of our deserts was inedible. Service was cold, and robotic. With all the amazing restaurant options available in close proximity R&D is well below, and seems to be riding on past accolades.
