Excellent food across the board! Definitely will be dining there again soon!
Always a great dinner with good service. The food has such a great level of preparation of Polish food that is difficult to find anywhere else.
Never dissapoints! Best beef tartar in Chicago, great soups, everyone should try veal cheeks and Please - bring back the goose! At least seasonally
Delicious Polish food and excellent service. Highly recommend!
Qulinarnia is a quaint local polish restaurant with a fine selection of authentic appetizers and entrees. The soups are worth the price. The portions are generous. The service is very friendly, helpful and efficient. Don't be put off by the strip mall location, the ambiance is nice and comfortable.
Delicious meal and dessert!
Everything was very good. Only drawback was I made the reservation for my wife's b-day and mentioned that when I made the booking w/open table. They didn't do anything special or even mention it.
The food was delicious! Sadly, they were out of mashed potatoes (Not sure how that happens). It was a Friday night. We arrived a little after 7:30. We were rushed to order because we were told the kitchen closes at 8:30. The owner is the chef so that surprised us a little. Again, food was awesome just didn’t like feeling rushed etc.
This is our 2nd visit and it did not disappoint! The food is inventive with a nod toward traditional but new flavors and combinations. Service was great --- she was thorough but did not intrude on our conversation. She let us sit for a long time, actually until close, without feeling rushed. It is a long drive from LaGrange to Quilinarnia, but worth the time.
Cozy restaurant tucked away in the shopping center. The food was outstanding. The noise level was very comfortable and it was easy to carry on a conversation. This has become our new favorite restaurant.
Excellent Polish cuisine in a quiet atmosphere. Helpful and friendly staff.
The food was absolutely delicious. The lamb was cooked to perfection. The mushroom soup was flavorful. Our friend had the trout which she said was excellent. The service was helpful and professional. We did not feel rushed. A lovely dining experience! We will be back.
The food was wonderful!
Amazing staff and food, highly recommend this place and I will become a regular!
Excellent food and very tasty. Professional, super nice service, reasonable prices.
Overall a good experiance. Great service. The food was ok, but not the way I like it. The soups were great.
Most likely will be back
I recently returned from a memorable trip to Poland and decided to invite two my friends to Qulinarnia to treat them to traditional Polish food in a quintessentially Polish atmosphere. Qulinarnia comes as close to a real Polish culinary experience as you are going to find in the Chicago area. Taking my friends to Qulinarnia was better than just telling them about my recent trip to Poland and showing them a few photos. They got to feel and taste the real Polish experience. We all had a great time and enjoyed the food. Plus, Wally’s Market is right across the street with an outstanding selection of imported and locally produced Polish food and I did my grocery shopping for the week.
Food was tasty and seemed to be authentic, server was outstanding - fun and interactive. A small restaurant which was perfect for visiting.
Qulinarnia is a gem! Best perogies in Chicago!
We all loved our entrees....goulash, cod, and sturgeon. Delicious. The sides were also wonderful and supported the entree. Baked cauliflower appetizer and baked sheep cheese were equally delicious. The complimentary pate is delicious and not to be missed. Oh, the baked plums with ice cream and whipped cream were fabulous. Delicious for us all as we shared the goodness.
Excellent place, very cozy, delicious food and great presentation .There are four couples in our group, we ordered duck breast, veal chicks , fish fillet and each main dish was extremely tasty. Deserts was outstanding such as backed plum with ice cream, chocolate moose.
Everyone from our group enjoyed dinner.
The food was delicious. Inetresting twist on Polish cousine. Great presentation.
Great place, great food, great service. We enjoyed dinner having authentic delicious food. Zurek was outstanding, cabbage rolls very delicious. Fantastic and friendly service. Highly recommended.
Very good food, and a super waitress. we definitely be coming back.
Loved the server, she was so sweet and helpful. The food was awesome and I’ll definitely go back!
Second time eating here and it was just as good as the first time. All items on the menu are freshly made and cooked to perfection. Our group had, the goulash, lamb chops, sturgeon, potatoes pirogies, polish sausage. Plums with ice cream for desert. For some in the group it was the first visit and they loved it as well. Definitely will return. Very reasonably priced and with a $9.50 corkage fee you can bring your own favorite wine.
Great atmosphere and amazing food, highly recommend,I will return for sure soon
Sweet spot with super friendly service and good food. Ordered food to share, and everything was great. Polish sausage, pierogies, stuffed cabbage with delicious mushroom sauce, pork chop and amazing mashed potatoes. We were in from out of town and I'm glad we made the trip to this restaurant
Unexpectedly awesome restaurant. We had the polish sausage appetizer along with the pear salad, and of course traditional pirogies. Followed by stuffed cabbage, 2 ppl had the duck breast, and one had the rack lamb. The polish sausage was excellent quality and sautéed with red peppers and onions that had a lovely caramelization to it. The duck breast was reportedly delicious and the lamb was described as incredible! I had the stuffed cabbage with mushroom sauce that did not disappoint. The pirogies were obviously homemade and were perfectly delicious. Every dish was beautiful plated and the portions were very generous. Lovely, modern atmosphere and very clean. There are only about 15 tables here so make your reservations as soon as you can. My only concern was that we felt a bit rushed to finish our meal as our waiter and the hostess gathered their coats and had to walk past our table to get to the front of the restaurant. We were the only remaining diners so maybe they were in a hurry to get home. This was the only complaint I had but I would definitely not let it stop me from going here again. In fact, I am looking forward to it! Oh and I forgot the desserts! Apple pie ala mode, chocolate mousse and sliced plum with plum sauce and ice cream - all were amazing!
I was on time for my dinner reservation on Valentine's Day. I was greeted by the people in the front saying that I had called and cancelled my dinner reservation. What? If that were true, then why did I show up? I told them that I never cancelled and they insisted again and again that I did. After a while they told me that they were still going to find a table for me. My fiancee and I ordered and watched other tables seated after us get served. When we mentioned it to the waitress, she profusely apologized. The waitress had not only dropped the ball but so did the kitchen. Upon leaving the restaurant, they again apologized, admitted they had just put in a new computer system and handed me a red rose for Valentine's Day. I called them 2 days later for my Open Table points and the gal who answered said the owner will take of it. A few days went by and they still had not credited me for dining there. This was my first and last time.
Exceptionally attentive staff and premium dishes. Fortunate to have found this gem.
Our group of four ordered the cauliflower appetizer, cabbage rolls, pirogies, and veal cheeks. Everything was very good. The setting, fellow customers, and servers added to the authentic ambiance. It was nice to shake-up our night and skip our regular go-to restaurants and try something new. It didn’t disappoint!
Excellent food, beautiful presentation too. Menu has something for everyone. Not your usual Polish fare. Definitely will be back.
Great Experience. Good value for the quality and service
My wife and I went to Qulinarnia, for the first time, with another couple that has been there several times. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. It is a friendly warm place with great Polish food.
This little gem is amazing. It was our first time there and based on a friend’s recommendation we ordered more than we could possibly eat so we could take several meals home. Everything was outstanding and the service was very attentive but not rushed. I’m going back with my son next week and can’t wait!
VERY GOOD FOOD, VERY GOOD SERVICE, FLOORPLAN TOO OPEN, NEEDS SOME MORE PRIVACY PER TABLE. SMALL LOCATION.
Excellent, up- scale Polish cuisine. Excellent soups mace in house. We all drive 2 hours to have a meal here.
We love Qulinarnia!
Always scrumptious food. Great pierogis, pork schnitzel, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes.
Love, love, love it!
Best polish in Chicago. Loved the updated spin on the food-delicious! Clean but decor needs some work.
