Everything about our experience was outstanding. Raul was an informative and attentive host for our casual lunch. The time it took for our food preparation was appropriate and the presentation was above average. The selection of beers available on tap was outstanding. The view of the marina was absolutely wonderful as well as the property surrounding the establishment.
We will surely be going there again.
We had gone to Quinn's to listen to the live music (sea shanties) that is performed on Thursday evenings. We hadn't appreciated that the restaurant was on one floor and the pub (where the band played) was above it - our fault for not asking. So we missed the beginning of the performance, but it was great fun when we actually joined the audience.
The food menu is the same in both parts, but the pub was crowded when we eventually arrived (although the restaurant was not). It's possible that many of the audience members in the pub are regulars, so you may need to get there early if you want a seat.
The food is quite good, although my wife's dinner (tacos) was not hot enough. This was resolved without fuss (and with an apology) when the server took it back to be reheated.
Our meal and service was great. Our waiter James was very nice and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to return
Awesome place! Excellent view. Yummy food. Wonderful service! We love going there.
Every time we have been to Quinn’s it has been great! They have never disappointed us. Service is to your needs and friendly. Food is excellent. We would recommend it to anyone e who might enjoy an enjoyable dinner overlooking the harbor!!!
Everything about Quinn’s Lighthouse was exceptional !
Great atmosphere as usual. Easy place for meeting friends--quiet enough to hear other people, varied menu and not pushed out the door. This is the first time we had brunch at Quinns--bit of disappointment after asking for eggs in Eggs Benedict to be soft and runny to have hard boiled eggs. This is the first time we have been disappointed with the entree.
We were very well served and all dishes came together for all 7 in the party. Every order came as ordered sometimes hard to make happen but never seems to be a problem at Quinn's. Our server has been our server many times and always perfect timing .Thank you !
We had the dining room to ourselves and the most attentive waiter. Everyone had a great time.
Excellent dinner menu as a well as lunch, great wine list, beer and dessert. Pricing are reasonable and the service and food quality and quantity is VERY GOOD AND DELICIOUS. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND QUINN’s LIGHTHOUSE FOR GREAT LUNCH, DINNER AND FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE WITH A GREAT VIEW OF THE MARINA AND EVENING SUNSET.
We went there last Sunday night all ready for their fantastic lasagna complete dinner. Unfortunately it has been removed from the menu. I've been going there for years and 90% of the time I order the lasagna. Disappointing. The food we ended up ordering was very good, the service was great and we will go back.
Fantastic bucket of mussels! Great fish n chips! Beef dip good but I have had better.
Our server, James was very attentive as usual. We’ve had dinner there several times during the year and James is always delightful.
Lovely place with Excellent food and service. Would definitely go again!
Great tasting and executed food. Nice setting on the water and great service. I had the seafood fetticine pasta special (extra good sauce...) and my wife a health poke / tuna salad - with mango's. Both dishes exceeded our expectations and we will return for more (wine choices were decent..).
I've gone to Quinn's Lighthouse several times over the past 50 years. The menu has a rather large selection most of which is seafood. This time I ordered their Cioppino. It was OK but not as good as I've had at other restaurants. I tasted a friend's clam chowder and that was very good. Service was outstanding. (We went at 6 PM on a weeknight and most of the tables were empty.)
I wouldn't drive a long distance to go to this restaurant but if you are in the Oakland/Alameda area and want good seafood, Quinn's Lighthouse should be on your short list of dinning options.
We had a wonderful time celebrating the 13th anniversary of our first date here! The Paella was delicious as was the Peach martinis. The service was very prompt and James took great care of us! Thanks again!
Excellent waiter, great food.
We like this restaurant a lot as it is close to Oracle Arena. It is in a quaint setting on the water with lots of street parking. The food is good, but not exciting! The menu has variety, but dishes Would benefit if updated or consistent in prep. Might be a situation of less on menu would be better!
Last time, club sandwich was the best, this time, drowning in mayo. Special salad good except dressing way too sweet. Omelets, eggs too think and then just stuffed with items. Last time pasta dishes had way too much sauce but the Flavors were good. ... fish and chips, great flavor, but a bit too greasy!
We will go back as we like the restaurant but we will try something different on the menu..... until we find their best dish!
Very friendly and knowledgeable waiter. The best pear/gorgonzola salad that i ever had...served cold and fresh. My wife loved the special cioppino and she is a seafood nut, and manages a fast food chain.
I was in town for two nights and love eating by the water. The view was great and my server was outstanding. I ordered the special sea bass and it was OK the accompanying sides were cold. I did not raise a concern although I m sure they would have fixed it. I would consider trying this place again if in the area because of the service
We really enjoyed our time at Quinn’s. Both food and service vice was great!
Great food. My wife had the Cobb salad and it was the best she has ever had.
We made reservations and got there before our reservations. They sat us quickly, next to the window. Great view. Great food. Great service. Will be back.
Nice location, quiet Saturday night but the meal was great
The service was friendly and efficient. Our server was very polite. We didn't have to wait long to be seated, for our food, or for the bill. The clam chowder was filling and yummy. I really like the garlic bread. The steak, asparagus, and french fries were good. They definitely go light on the salt and spices. It was nice to look out at the water while we dined. Very nice place for a Valentine's day dinner.
Good food for good value; location on the estuary is pleasant.
I had high hopes for this restaurant, we waited 20 minutes before our server asked for our drinks, in that time he served a table that was next to us and they arrived after us and we had a reservation. Took another 15 minutes to receive our drink, then another 30 minutes for our meal.
I ordered the pasta with salmon with added prawns. I was told the prawns were $2 each extra because they were prawns when I received it the prawns where small shrimp and the salmon was salty and the pasta sauce watery. It was very disappointing. My friend did enjoy her cocktail
We came on a beautiful day and enjoyed the view very much! Right on the marina with lots of boats.
The food was very good and the menu varied enough to suit almost any palate.
The service was outstanding and we may make this our regular place to go every Sunday - loved it - thank you so much!
Been going to Quinn's for many years. The quality of the food has gone down over the past couple of years. I believe their menu is too large to sustain and keep good ingredients in house. Most HAS to be frozen. They need to revamp and focus on the their best dishes that have the chance of keeping the freshest produce, seafood, and meats. The menu could be a third the size and still attract a wide variety of diners.
Friendly staff and delicious food. The Belgian-style mussels were amazing!
Great dining choice for all-day service if eating a late lunch or early dinner. We were on the way to the Warriors game and it was perfect. Easy to park. Good food. Good service. Nice ambiance. Not insanely crowded and noisy.
Charming find. Yummy food with lots of choices. Wonderful wait staff. Easy find and parking. Great views.
Two of my friends and I had dinner at Quinn's on a Thursday night. We were promptly seated, the service was very good, and the food was filling and tasty. This is one of the few restaurants on SF Bay that has a dock so boaters can boat to the restaurant; we took advantage of that and very much appreciate Quinn's for that reason. We ate in the downstairs restaurant, which has plenty of windows for a great view towards Alameda and Coast Guard Island. We did not get upstairs, where there is reputed to be a great pub with even better views. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this restaurant. I definitely plan to go back.
I love this spot, great food. Service could improve a little, ordered a drink and had to ask for it twice. Meal was complete by the time I received it and it was time for the after meal coffee.
Great place to meet for a business lunch. Service is quick, food is excellent. Easy freeway access. Good views
This is a fantastic place, the mussels are delicious as well as everything
We will come back again and again!
One of the best things about Quinn's is the variety of its menu. It's a good place for a group. There is something on the menu for everyone. Just be sure to make reservations via Open Table!
Quinn's is a bit quirky, old-fashioned - but in a good way. Great spot to look out onto the water and enjoy an non-rushed, down-home meal! The service was attentive and knowledgeable.
Two of our party ordered seafood stew - they were both too hot to eat, they kept putting ice cubes from the water glasses into the stew so that they could eat it. If you order that, remember to tell them 'not too hot' (as in temperature - not spice).
Great spot to just chill and not be rushed.
We arrived just before opening time and were taken care of immediately. The food (shrimp/prawn louie and Fish & Chips) and service were great. We sat overlooking the water/marina. Had a wonderful time.
